Excellent customer-focused service! I am moving from Louisiana to Destin, FL and could not find a kennel that would accept my animals to board while I unload the moving truck into the house and unpack because every kennel I called said there had to be an "interview" of the animals prior to boarding. That is impossible if I am arriving in a moving truck from out of state.

The manager at Emerald Coast Kennel "Jennifer" was very understanding and explained my animals would be kept separate from all other animals and she obtained my vet records to confirm my pets were in good order and previewed vet record pictures, etc. I could not be more pleased with this establishment. They were so supportive to me and eased my concerns about taking care of my animals during move-in day. Based on how dismissive all the other kennels were to my situation, I will ONLY use this kennel as a new Destin resident for my boarding needs while traveling in the future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GOOD KIND PEOPLE who not only focus on the pets but the needs of the pet owners as well! Great Job!

My dog was very calm when we picked him up, which is always a good sign but the people weren't very friendly. All in all I would take him there again. Prices are great, very fair.

We traveled to Destin area from Indianapolis for fall break. We wanted our dog to be close to us and didn't want to leave him alone here at home with a dog walker. Emerald Coast Kennel welcomed Harley, took good care of him, fed him, let him out to play regularly, and bathed him. He wasn't distressed when he got in our car, he was happy! We'll be back.

We had not boarded our dogs before (usually we can find pet friendly places to stay) and were very pleased with this Kennel. The indoor/outdoor space is good and both dogs did very well. We will definitely use them again when we are staying in the area.

They even gave our little guy a Christmas gift on the way out. Really like their format of outdoor space accessible by doggie door. The inside throws you off because it's pretty cramped but sound alike he spent most of his time in his own outside space. Definitely on the pricey side but we felt like it was worth it because our golden doesn't do feat with other dogs & they don't mix dogs. Would've liked some pictures but he didn't make it to their Facebook page. It was limited holiday hours though. Thanks for taking good care of Enzo!

Wonderful! My dogs have stayed at the Emerald Coast Pet Kennels twice so far, and we will continue to use them! My parents live 5 minutes away from the kennels and their house is not pet friendly. We had previously used other kennels to board our dogs in our hometown but they were just awful and it was very disappointing. So we were weary of boarding our dogs again; however, the Emerald Coast Pet Kennels were phenomenal! Diane and the rest of the wonderful staff are very friendly and our dogs love them!

Our dogs were so excited to come back and stay at the kennels! Our dogs share a suite (includes indoor and outdoor run), and there is plenty of room for them to exercise and sleep! Our dogs get taken out multiple times a day into one of the play yards with agility type ramp and tunnel, as well as a mini pool for them to splash in; and of course, tennis balls! Also, our dogs have separation anxiety, and the staff makes sure that they are 100% comfortable and they let us visit our pups in one of the play yards, which we love very much! Had my two Jack Russell terriers there for an extended stay more than once and they were treated very well! The staff is so caring and loving and treat the residents like they are at home! Excellent care for my boys!

Brought our dog here on short notice when evacuating for hurricane Matthew. I was able to go back with him to put him in his kennel. It was comforting to see where he would be. He had a little dog door for him to go outside whenever he wanted. There was even a TV on the hallway wall that they keep on all the time. I felt comfortable leaving him there while we were away.

Boarded our dog here while we stayed right down the road in Gulf Place for four days which couldnt have been more convenient. Staff were friendly and prices reasonable. Picked up doggy safe and happy. As for the review about dog coming back with fleas, we treated our dog with flea treatment before boarding him to prevent him picking up anything, which is something you should do anyway.

This is, by far and away, the very best kennel we have ever used! Our dog absolutely loves to visit his "camp" as we call it where he gets to see "Ms Diane". I remember the first time we left him there and called next day to ask how he was. The response was, "Oh he's doing just fine. He's sitting in my lap right now." They treat our dog like family there and he gets lots of love, attention and lap time.

Another nice point is that each dog has a doggie door that opens into a private little yard area that they can access at will. The dogs are also let out into a larger yard to run around and play 4 times per day! That is more than he gets on some work days at home! We couldn't be happier with the great care our dog gets at this kennel. Ms. Diane is not only his caretaker, she is also his groomer! When we pick him up, he is fresh and fluffy and ready for Mama and Daddy. We give it 5 stars!

I've worked in dog kennels and know how disgusting they can be. that being said, i was happy with the cleanliness (they took me on a full tour of the back) and the guy owner was super nice! the woman was the complete opposite though, she was pretty rude and untrusting.maybe just having a bad day but it still left a bad taste in my mouth after i dropped my baby off. picked my pup up today though and he looked healthy and happy so overall we're pleased!
