Super friendly staff got us in on an Saturday at 5 pm! I highly recommend this Veterinarian hospital they have after hours and kennel if you need them they are there! Thankful for seeing us and best of all this is local for Richmond, KY!

Really disappointed in how we were treated. My bird became lethargic over night and I was overjoyed to call and find out they had an exotic animal vet on staff (there are probably less than 10 avian vets in the entire state) and would be in tonight at 4:30. At 3:30 I loaded up my bird and started the hour drive to Richmond to be seen. I called a little before 4 to let them know I was on my way.

At 4:17 I received a call from the receptionist while pulling into their parking lot that the exotic animal vet had just called in "sick" less than 15 minutes prior to her start time and they had no one to see us. I was then told that I could "possibly go to Louisville or down to Tennessee to try and get her seen". Zero empathy, zero compassion.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I took of one my dogs as an emergency visit all the way from Georgetown last weekend. The entire staff including the on call vet were absolutely horrible and rude. The best vet that worked there is no longer there and that was Dr. Lander. They were not at all worried about my dog only that I didn't have a mask on once I arrived. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place ever! I hope nobody has to go through worrying about their animal and are treated this way.

I previously took my puppy to a vet in Nicholasville who continually charged me hundreds of dollars without actually doing anything. I switched him to advanced animal care and the care difference is amazing. I never worry when I drop him off. Recently he had an issue where he's been peeing in the house. I voiced my concerns and the vet tech listened to literally every symptom.

She even repeated them back to me to make sure she had everything documented. She told me how much the urinalysis was and it turns out my boy had a bladder infection. They gave me meds for him and he's like a different puppy! The whole visit was very affordable, only $140 dollars for the exam, urinalysis and meds. I was easily paying double that for just checkups and shots at his old vet. Just an outstanding office

We came in and Taterbug was doing bad. I was scared to death. She is my best friend and my emotional support dog. I'm so happy I went to them. They got her right in and treated her. We just got home. She took a little nap and just got up and drank some water. And isn't throwing it. I can already tell she is doing better. I'm so grateful they was there and I could get quick service and ppl tht know how much you love your fur babies. Thank you all so much we still got a ways to go to get better but I'm glad she got the help she needed again thank you

The staff members at this hospital are wonderful! They go above and beyond for their patients. Our dog Max, was at deaths door, they literally saved his life. Haley actually brought in her own dog to donate blood for a desperately needed blood transfusion, which is what was needed to kickstart our little guys road to recovery. He was loved and cared for by a genuinely caring and knowledgeable staff. If you want excellent care for your furbabies, bring them here!

I was visiting some family out of town when my dog needed to see a vet on a Saturday. Couldn't get in anywhere but Advanced Animal Care, so we drove for an hour to Richmond. They took excellent care of my old gal and were nothing but kind and patient with her (even though she was not happy to be there). With an emergency exam, sedation, and three prescriptions, I expected a massive bill yet it was quite reasonable.

It was a great experience in a stressful situation. I'm so grateful they were able to get my girl fixed up and on the road to recovery. I'd definitely go back here, but hope I never need to!

I am so impressed by the incredible team here. Everyone at this animal hospital truly cares about our furry family members and their parents. They are so friendly and compassionate. Dr. Landers is so knowledgeable. She explains things thoroughly. Making sure you understand. She presents options. She does everything in her power to provide the best possible medical care.

My baby was in bad shape. She kept me continually updated. When we ran out of options she was so compassionate. When it came time to say goodbye to my precious boy, every member of the staff was comforting and caring. They provided so much support to help me through a horrible time. I just can't say enough good about them. All of them. Should I ever need emergency care again, I won't think twice. I'll be back to Advanced Animal Care. Thank you all for taking such exceptional care of my precious Oli.

I am most disappointed in this clinic. I sent a dear friend of mine here with his beautiful dog. She was feeling sick and he was out of town. Two days later and they did nothing but request more money. This was his best friend. I can not believe how cold, how demanding they were over money. She died the next day from a kidney infection. He would get more updates of the balance (after putting a retention of 1,500 for her) more than he got for her updates of her care or improvement.

I would not recommend this clinic for anyone that cared for their animals. I will do what it takes to see that all of Richmond Kentucky and the surrounding counties know of how they treated my friend and the greedy actions they had. Please do not take your pets here. Waco Kentucky had a wonderful vet and will treat your pet as if it's your own. If they were open on Sunday we would have went there.

I am so saddened by this clinic. I work in health and realize the financial needs it's takes but demanding money without reason is absolutely ridiculous. This was no surgery, only a X-ray, blood work and anabiotic's. Please beware and go elsewhere.

From the receptionists to the techs to the doctor, everybody was so amazing! I have used this hospital for years now and I've never had anything except great care. My sister also uses them because they are so reliable! They have taken care of my dogs in the past. And now they are taking such great care of Hoops Dog! They were so sweet and loving towards him, and took such amazing care of him. All of the staff were so nice, took their time to explain things to me, and just gave him so much love! I will always go back to this hospital for my pet's care!

The vets at Advanced Animal care literally saved my puppies life. I cannot thank them enough and i am BEYOND blessed. Had a shady breeder give me my dog and it turned out he was infested with parasites that were sucking the blood out of my poor baby Maverick. He is only 5 weeks old and would not have made it if it wasnt for the vet who by the way GAVE HER OWN DOGS BLOOD to mine during a blood transfusion just to save my dogs life.

Please if you have a dog or any animal for that matter, PLEASE go to advanced animal care in Richmond. They are so compassionate and nice and honestly you get what you pay for. I cant thank them enough.

Bullshit vet that only cares about money, who will tell you one price constantly over the phone but then when you pick up your pet they will raise the price and claim that was always the price. Very ticked off unhappy and will not be returning ever or ever reccomend them to anyone

I do not recommend this establishment. I knew exactly what my pet needed for care as per her regular veterinarian. My vet was closed so I decided to come here to try and get the treatment. It cost 107 dollars before tax which is the cheapest in the area seemingly. They refused to give her any treatment unless I payed for 140 some dollar x-rays. If you can wait I recommend seeing your regular veterinarian. Only go if you have deep pockets because they want your money.

My pup received great care here from all the staff, I'm thankful for the precautions they have been taking during covid to keep everyone safe while saving the lives of pets. Thank you to DR. Lew for being so compassionate!

We have brought our dog and our cat here! They are affordable and the people that work here are very nice!

They where very kind and honest about the issues with my furbaby He was very sick, . Had cancer.down fall is the prices they charge.2000 deposit up front for 24hours. But It is what it is. They gave my furbaby Great care while he was there. Pain meds and nausea meds and fluid bolus and then I took him home And he made it threw the night i Took him too my regular vet.

I had to make the hardest decision in my life I spent time with him and he crossed the rainbow and I was able to see him after he passed. No more suffering for my baby. One day when God calls me home I will see him again. They are very helpful and a great staff.

My regular vet had seen my cat the previous day and was not able to see him again the following even though he was declining. They told me to wait until Thursday and this was Tuesday. I called all local vets and they were also unable to see my cat. By the evening he had gotten much worse, AAC in Richmond also tried to help me find a local vet because they were afraid we wouldn't make it in time.

We went to AAC in Richmond, treated very respectfully and kindly by all staff. My cat had a stroke en route to vet and was in very bad shape and a lot of pain when we arrived. We were given all options for his care. Unfortunately, our cat didn't make it but we were treated so nice and Dr Crabtree took very good care of him and controlled his pain.

I wish we had a 24 hour vet service in London, maybe things would have ended differently but we will never know. I am just appreciative of Dr. Crabtree's compassion and understanding during a difficult time. I highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate taking my 14 year old dauschund to her if needed. Much thanks to AAC in Richmond.

Worst vet. To dang expensive and all the workers can never answer a question direct. They try to argue with you and never know when to shut up. All they really care about is money. If it's not money they don't want anything to do with you. You suck Advanced Animal Care.

3 days ago my dog had a cyst removed from his eyelid at advanced animal care berea. Today he managed to rip the incision despite me following post op instructions 100%. I had no other choice but to take him to the Richmond road location. Dr. Turner ( I believe was her name) informed me he would be needing surgery again, but it would be almost double the cost of what I paid in berea.

I was given a range and asked for a 350.00 deposit. The medical assistant mentioned that the berea location didn't give the appropriate amount of medication, but I can't understand how she made that conclusion as she doesn't know what specifically or how much was given initially. The other medical assistant was very rude with her mannerism, when I asked for more clarity on the price sheet she was basically reading off to me, She rolled her eyes, huffed, and forcefully slammed the door.

I felt like they did not try to "meet me in middle" a term used by staff. I would have expected the surgery to be redone with proper instructions or a discounted surgery and that would have sufficed. I went back and forth on doing the surgery with them because it felt dishonest and I didn't appreciate the staff or the vets laissez faire attitude.

At one point I said send him home with pain medicine and I will see our original vet on Monday. Condescendingly the assistant came in and said this is 22 dollars and something ( I don't remember exactly)is that doable for pain medicine until Monday and a new e collar? My issue wasn't money; my issue was paying more money to a company that didn't give proper after care instructions that caused us to waste more time and money and put my dog through another surgery and extend his recovery time.

After talking with my spouse we agreed to just do the surgery when they informed us that the risk was a corneal ulcer if we waited until Monday. The assistant left to inform the vet. I waited and after an hour I went to let my dog pee and grab my bank card from the car. When I returned to the desk and laid my card on the counter the office personnel said they were no longer willing to do the surgery due to my complaints.

So even though I was unhappy with their willingness to "meet in the middle" they turned a pet away who needed surgery and that admittedly said could suffer more trauma by waiting until Monday. The staff is Extremely rude, totally unprofessional, and clearly they do not care about the wellbeing of your pets, since they turned away a pet needing surgery. Take your pet elsewhere.

Incredible. After going all over the place to help my blocked cat this facility was able to perform PU surgery and hospitalization immediately. I got a much lower price than all the other places. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The vets were extremely knowledgeable! Every time I called to check in on my baby they were never annoyed and I spoke to a doctor every time.

The facility was clean and well managed. I felt so relieved to have my boy taken care of once I got there. I loved and appreciated actually getting to talk to his providing vet and get realistic information straight from them. I highly recommend.

I always receive great care for my dog. He gets his nails trimmed there because he's terrified to get them done and they manage to do it with great care and compassion. His regular visits always go well and the doctors are knowledgeable and thorough.

No compassion for grieving pet owners who are losing a furry family member and can't afford to pay half a grand immediately. Surprised they don't ask for a kidney up front.

I had a disappointing visit at this clinic. $$$ seems to be the number 1 focus! You're not allowed in the examination room with your pet which I thought was unusual from my previous vets. Then you're presented with an estimate and have to pay an outrages amount up front. Thinking that would be enough, I had to pay even more when I picked my dog up after surgery. Wanted to charge again to remove stitches. Never going there again! I gave 3 stars because the Convenience of being open 24 hours and helping my dog.

I cannot say enough good things about this animal care center. Everyone I encountered here was caring, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. The wide range of services- from oxygen chamber, stem cell therapy, surgery, instant x-rays, micro-chipping, etc.- insure that your pet will have the equipment and knowledgeable staff to help with his/her needs.

Their quick actions save my cat, whose gums and tongue has already turned blue due to a breathing problem. I cannot say enough about the manner in which this office is run and the services they offer. I was kept informed at all times, given a written estimate of possible care costs- after he was put into oxygen therapy- and told to call anytime I wanted. Someone is there 24/7 looking after the animals. I have my Tommy home now and he is in much better shape thanks to these wonderful people. Thank you to everyone there!
