Our mission is to provide all family pets with an enriched and customized in home pet sitting experience, maintaining a normal day's routine and schedule. We focus on the details of each pets individual needs and follow their humans instruction. While our clients are away, we provide peace of mind and provide transparency of our delivered services with visit reports in real time, and with proof of our movement with GPS tracking. Our services are not only customized to each home, but focus on the comfort of our clients and their pets.
Services
There are numerous benefits to using a professional pet sitter. Each day you are away, Critter Sitters will visit your home to feed, care for, play with and provide customized routines set forth by you for your home and pets, including dog walks and pet sitting. More than 70% of all households in the U.S. have some kind of pet.
A new client consultation is required prior to our first scheduled service. This allows us to answer any questions you may have, and its a meet and greet to become acquainted with your pets and routines. Our pet sitting and dog sitting services are customized to each pets needs. Additional Consultations from the addition of new pets, routine changes & relocations are $25 per 30 minutes. We are very active owners, and in the field with our client pets daily. We provide consultations between the hours of 7am-3pm Monday-Friday.
Daily Dog Walkers work weekdays between 9am-4pm, and 1 weekend a month (2 weekends if the month has 5 weekends). Night and Weekend Sitters work 2 weeknights per week from 6pm-9pm and 2 weekends per month (3 weekends if the month has 5 weekends). Previous pet sitting experience is preferred, but no formal training is required to join our team.

Critter Sitters is the best! As a long time customer (10 plus years) I trust them explicitly with my home and my furry friend! The owners, Sam and Sarah, are amazing and are such caring people. Zach, our dog walker, writes detailed (and often humorous) descriptions of each walk and always attaches a few pictures. Such a treat to receive while at work or on vacation. Critter Sitters is an extension of our family and they make us feel like we are an extension of theirs as well.

Critter Sitters is the BEST! They are reliable, caring, prompt and trustworthy. The best part is that my 4 dogs and 2 cats LOVE them. And so do we. And they will do so much more than just take care of the animals, they will bring in the mail, adjust the lights, water plants etc. They have an app that is easy to use for scheduling & instructions, and after their visit they will send you a summary of how your pets are doing and lots of adorable pictures of them as well.

My family has used Critter Sitters many times over the years. They have been wonderful and excellent every single time. The sitters will send you updates on the app about how your pets are doing and the pets overall mood. They keep you connected with your pets even miles away. i'd recommend them to anyone who would like to keep their pets at home while they are away and just need someone to check on them and keep them company a bit during the day.

We have been VERY happy and satisfied Critter Sitter (CS) customers for almost 20 years now! Over these years they have seen several of our pets come and go, but Sam, Sarah and team have always been there for us. At one time we had as many as 3 dogs and 2 cats and CS handled it all in stride! They are all animal lovers and specially trained. They even helped us keep a diabetic dog going strong for over 10 years--this included special meals at set times and twice a day insulin shots--we would never have been able to take a vacation without them.
They are extremely reliable and caring demonstrated by their thoughtful cards during our times of loss :( Our pets are very happy they get to stay in their home when we are away. We travel often and have wonderful neighbors and friends who have always been willing to watch our cats, but as much as we've been traveling recently we didn't want to be an annoyance. We started a search for a pet sitter and it was a bit nerve wracking thinking about letting a stranger in your home to watch your pets. But I was so appreciative of the Critter Sitters process - the introductory meeting, the thoroughness of their questions, and their professionalism.
You can tell they genuinely care about your pets and I immediately felt comfortable with them. We've now used them 4 times over the past few months and we couldn't be happier with their service! We know our boys are in good hands when we travel and we always look forward to our daily updates and pictures. Highly recommend!

Great company with responsible workers and very convenient! I use this anytime I go out of town and I'm never disappointed. Also super good for people that tend to worry if someone has fed/taken care of the pet each day they are gone, as they leave notes and take photos for every day they are there!

Critter Sitters takes pet care to a new level of peace of mind. Our kitty Violet always seems happy to see us when we return from vacation, but she also seems very happy while we're gone. These people are awesome! They took care of our kitties for two weeks- loved on them, played with them, and- most importantly- cleaned up messes without judgement for our sickly kitty with digestive issues. We felt really comfortable going on vacation knowing our feline friends were getting such excellent care! Critter Sitters of Lex has been a life saver. We have two senior dogs on medications - they have been very well cared for when we are away so that we don't worry as much about their needs. The pet sitters are caring and reliable, and pay great attention to the instructions for care. And I love the app that provides current feedback and pictures after each visit. Highly recommend! We have used Critter Sitters several times now and it's wonderful to be able to relax when we're away because I know our pets are in great hands. I love that they send full updates (and photos) after each visit, and the app they use makes it very easy to make a reservation, pay invoices, and update your pet and/or household instructions.
