Professional, friendly, and thorough! My furry family member was cared for well. We were surprised but quite happy that the staff took the extra time to research embassy points of contact for pet travel requirements. I was impressed with how knowledgeable they were of the various processes of import around the world. Thier experience and expertise made us feel confident we could get our dog to our new home with minimal issues! Remember to call and make an appointment. The front desk staff is the best I have worked with in all of my 21years of travel!

Dr. Bob is always very thorough with our animals. We appreciate the care he takes to diagnose correctly and to deliver the diagnosis in a manner that is understandable! Thanks for always taking such good care of our fur babies!

We have been using Boston Road Animal Clinic for over 10 years now. They are caring and affordable. We never have that anxiety of being gouged here. They will not push unnecessary treatments on you or guilt you into frivolous extras. We are grateful to have such a great vet for our pets!

Wednesday morning at 8:30 I brought my dog here for neuter, lab work, and a microchip. They called me to pick him up at 4:00, and one guy brought him to my truck and blood started dripping all over my car seat. They had to bring him back and they told me that he would have to stay overnight and that I might be able to pick him up the next morning.

The next day, when I called them, I talked to a female nurse and she told me that today was the doctor's day off, but she had another doctor that would come at 1:00 in the afternoon to help. I called them again at 1:30 to get an update and a guy answered the phone. He told me again that today was the doctor's day off and that my dog needed to stay one more night to wait for the doctor to come back in tomorrow.

I refused, and I asked him "Why didn't you do anything yesterday when you knew that it was the doctor's day off today?" Then I told him that I would take my dog to another vet and he just waved me off like he didn't care. I went to another place and they gave him more stitches, and anti-biotics just in case me had an infection. Why is your day off more important than your patient?

Why would you work at a vet if your purpose isn't to help animals at any time? And why can't you stay late or spend 15 minutes of your day off to correct your own mistake? Do you have any love? You left my dog bleeding for two days? Do you run your business just for money, or to help animals? If you run your business just for money, you shouldn't do this kind of job.

I rescued a cat who was in bad shape last week. The clinic was only taking appointments only, but they came and looked at the cat as soon as i brought him, decided to keep him overnight, and give plenty of medicine, This was easily 25% what I was expecting from previous vet experiences. I will be taking all future animals here! Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is friendly, professional, and very passionate about what they do. I've always received top notch pet and customer care and will definitely continue to bring my fur babies here for their vet needs! Keep up the great work!

I have always gotten great service from Dr. Burns, Ashley and Jamie and everyone at the clinic. I primarily deal with hospice animals and they have always shown me and my pets the utmost compassion and respect. Extremely affordable and I highly recommend.

Great place to take your pet, both large and small. Dr. Bob loves and cares for your pet as if it's his own. They took care of our beloved feline for some 12 years and now care for our 5 month old Morkie. Very reasonable pricing.

We just left from Boston Road Animal clinic having one of my rescue dogs seen for skin issues that she's had for years. I can never get an appointment with our regular vet that's convenient so I decided to call around this morning and try out a new clinic. They were able to get us in TODAY! I've never had that option for our other vet. All the office staff was extremely friendly and informative, the doctor was absolutely amazing.

He didn't try to get us to do a ton of test that wasn't needed (like EVERY vet we've ever seen) you can tell he cares more about the health of your pet than trying to make money off you like most vets. The doctor was very informative, and extremely friendly as well. This will be our new vet office for all of our dogs, in fact I will be scheduling a surgery for our other rescue dog this week (I haven't found a vet yet that I felt comfortable enough to do this with). I'd highly recommend them to everyone!

I love Dr. Burns and his staff. Having that said, I'm very disappointed in the grooming. The cut wasn't good and the cost went up fifteen dollars. I questioned this big increase in cost, the girl shot back " If we didn't let his hair get so long and matted, it wouldn't cost so much" and then stormed off. I've had grooming done there for several years and made an appointment elsewhere. I WILL continue medical care with Dr. Burns.

We have used this clinic for our dogs for about 20 years. Dr Burns and his staff are wonderful. You can see that everyone there truly love what they do and really care about the animals they treat. A++++

TL:DR - Cat Piss, Killed Dog, Staff Rude at Times; This place sucks. Strong odor of cat piss whenever you walk in. We have encountered rude staff, Ashley was the only consistently friendly staff memeber. Our dog was 17 years old but still alive and well. He was having trouble with his foot. The doctor said he had to "sedate" him for x-ray. Which can't be safe for a 17yr dog. Doc said his spine was degenerating.

After sedation it looked like he was paralyzed and they said we needed to put him down. My wife got there within 15 minutes of call. As we search the building to find her dog of childhood she had enough time to bend and touch his face before Dr.s Wife said "Alright, lets do this, hurry up, come on we got to go". Which was rude and heartless. We saw our dog wanting to live, so we assumed after "sedation" worn off he would be as perky as before he went in. Charged for painkillers and we left.

He started moving all four feet but his neck was locked. He couldn't move. If his spine was degenerating, why would his foot work and his neck not? Then we got a bill said with "euthanasia" charged on it. They had started the process, then sent us a dying dog, with usless pain killers, claiming he was "sedated" for xray. We watched in horror as he suffered through the weekend. He even stood up, but his neck muscles were locked! He finally gave in and we put him down. Would give zero stars.

I really like this vet. He might be old school, but I really like him. He throughly looked at my dog when she was sick, and started a mild treatment. As we decided how to treat my dog, he gave several options, and explained how the medicine worked and was very nice. I trust him very much.

As nicely as I can say this, the vet must be old-school. He didn't really seemed bothered that he sent my dog home, still bleeding. We had a routine fatty tumor removed ($35 more expensive than quoted) and the vet techs seemed more concerned with going home on-time than making sure my dog was okay. His prices might be okay, but the service here stunk. I'm usually not one to complain, but the cqre my dog recieved was egregious, borderline un-ethical.

We needed a quality vet that would care for our two cats at affordable prices - including letting us know beforehand how much care would cost so we could plan, because we do not have a lot of money. This place never balked at letting us know the full cost of tx before anything was actually done, and they never made us feel like bad pet owners simply because we could not afford more expensive options.

If needed, they would see our cats first and describe their treatment approach and then let us bring the cats back for treatment. That is rare in any business, and even more rare in a medical/veterinary setting; but we thank Boston Road Animal Clinic for their compassionate care of both our kitties and us! Unfortunately, we had to move out of state, and we're trying to find something like that here! We miss this place!
