The new prices are shown here on our website. Our days and hours of operation are currently limited due to staffing constraints. Please be patient with us and realize that the health and safety of the staff is #1 so that they can properly care for your pups! I have never used a doggy daycare service other than this one, but that is because I am so satisfied with Dogtown. They take such good care of my dog and really take the time to get to know the dogs and owners. If I ran a doggy daycare the Dogtown way is how I would run it.

Services
Dogtown is a fun and safe place for your dog to play while you are at work, out of town, or out doing your everyday activities. We believe the key ingredients to making a happy dog are EXERCISE and SOCIALIZATION! We offer supervised cage-free group play in downtown Lexington and our indoor and outdoor play areas (with GRASS and MULCH, not concrete!)
Weekday drop-off hours are 6:30-9am or noon-1p. Weekday pick-up hours are 6:30-9am or 4-6pm. Weekend and holiday hours are 9-11am and 5-7pm. Drop-off during these hours does not interrupt playtime and is safest for the dogs. If your schedule will not allow for these times, please call to arrange a special drop-off time.
In order for your dog to attend Dogtown, he/she must be interviewed to ensure that aggression, shyness, or fear won't be a problem. Interviews are only scheduled weekdays. We do not schedule interviews on weekends. Please work with your dog on these things so he/she is ready for the interview: name recognition/recall, sit, stay.

Been going here for almost 5 years and my dogs are always happy and tired after a day of daycare! Their workers are so kind and unbelievably helpful all the time! And I love being able to see the videos and pictures on Instagram all day! Best place in town for daycare, boarding, and grooming, hands down!

Our dog LOVES going here! She has been going for over a year. She pulls me into the building, and is super excited to see both her human and doggie friends. She is a big GSD with a lot of energy, and I love that she comes home tired. Sometimes I need a break from our daily 3-8 mile walks.and by her spending a day at Dogtown, I get one!

We are so thankful for all the staff at Dogtown! Our vet said that if our big frisky puppy didn't get some intense active play she would develop problem behaviors. All the engagement and love she receives at Dogtown keep her much more manageable at home. I love that it's a sort of "free range" facility and not the usual cages and runs I was familiar with. Maggie also boards there when we aren't able to take her on trips.
They are great about keeping us up to date on how she's doing while we're gone. Can't say enough goid things about this facility. If your dog is social and needs care, THIS IS THE PLACE

My dog has been going here for over a year now & he loves it! They always remember his name when he comes in & I feel like they treat all the dogs like their own. They always let me know if he's had an off day, which I love the honesty. I wish they had daycare on the weekend, because I cannot find a place on sat or sun that compares to them! I had a bad experience at another daycare & just had to write this review on how awesome Dogtown is :

We have been taking our golden doodle here for awhile, and the staff here is awesome. Our dog always seemed excited to be dropped off and worn down when picked up! Reasonable rates and plenty of play room for the dogs. All the other dogs are super friendly too. We hope we can find another dog daycare like this one where we are moving too. Thanks Dog Town!

We took our basset hounds to Dogtown for seven years and they took excellent care of them. When our basset, Buford, died, they grieved with us and took special care of his buddy Freddy even though he was senior, disabled and very grumpy. They are so considerate and patient when it comes to dogs with disabilities or medical needs (aka high maintenance).
They treat the dogs like family. I love Dogtown and believe they are the best boarding/day care facility for dogs in Lexington. We just cannot say enough nice things about them.

My dogs have been going to Dogtown for about a year now, and as soon as I say the word "Dogtown" they both start going crazy because they love going so much. The best part is that my older dog, who wasn't really obese but has always been on the heavier side, has lost about 20 pounds from going to Dogtown and is now so much more active when we go to the dog parks and for our walks.
When I take my dogs to Dogtown they are usually asleep by the time I get to the first intersection after leaving because they are so tired, and they generally sleep the entire day after they have been there because they go so much play time. I have to chuckle at the one review that is Poor-Fair since that reviewer never actually took their dog(s) to Dogtown.
I will admit that the building isn't a palace, but the staff treats every dog there like a king or queen. My advice to anyone looking at Dogtown is to look at every review from people that have actually taken their dogs to the facility and base your decision on those actual reviews.
