Since 2000 Pets Need Nannies Too Inc. began providing in home pet-sitting service for the precious pets that need alternative care because of not doing well when taken from the comfort and familiarity of their own home and for those pet owners that like the convenience of keeping their pets at home when they need to be away from them. Each of our clients have different circumstances, therefore, each job is tailored according to each pets' needs. Our hope is to make the pets stay away from you an enjoyable time rather than one of stress.
Services
Visits: Your pet's Nanny spends an average of 30 minutes in your home exercising and playing with your pet, putting out fresh food and water, scooping the yard or litter box, brushing your pet and scratching and rubbing him/her in all those favorite spots. If you're out of town, Nanny will also bring in the mail and newspaper, water indoor and patio plants, alternate lights and blinds, and put the trash and recycling out.

As pet owners ourselves, as well as caring daily for others' pets, we have come to appreciate how special our animals are to us. They entertain us with their antics; beguile us with their poses; comfort us with their presence; love us unquestionably; exasperate us with their stubbornness; worry us with their illnesses; and make us laugh out loud.
Today we live in a world of much uncertainty. In the work place quantity seems to be more important than quality. Because of this such qualities as honesty, trust, loyalty, dependable and responsible are hard to find. It's understandable that prospective clients would feel apprehensive about someone new to care and love their pets as you do.

I've used Pets Need Nannies, Too, at two homes--my previous one in Plano and my current one in Allen, for at least 20 plus years. They are the best! I've had the same pet sitter in Allen since I moved here in 2006. She is a dog magnet and dog whisperer, has taken on dogs with degenerative myeolopathy who could no longer walk and taken perfect care of them along with my others. I've had three dogs the whole time PNNT has been my sitting service, and, at times, have had my daughter's 4 dogs here, too. She's kept them when we were in Europe for 16 days and for just one overnight--whatever we needed.
She leaves not only informative notes, but cute little comments about them. It's cheaper than boarding, since I'd often have to take them an extra day and pick them up an extra day later due to boarding hours, and they are so much happier at home. Can't recommend highly enough!

I needed someone to let my dogs outside during the afternoon while I was at work for two weeks. I looked at boarding, at various walkers, and eventually chose PNNT because they were nearby and I could not find any negative reviews. I have one dog that is a very excited, hyper one year old and he's a real handful. I was concerned that a walker would not want to deal with him.
I called and left a message, my call was returned a couple of hours later and I set up an appointment for the lady to meet my dogs. When she arrived she was very polite, very friendly and very nice to the dogs. The paperwork was minimal and all very reasonable, and it was nice to see that she had obviously done this before. I provided house access and that was that.
On Monday I got home from work, and there was a sheet of paper on my dining table with a record of the day's activities. I had not requested walking, just outdoor play time, and from the two tired pooches it was obvious they had gotten what I paid for. She left a log every day and detailed their bathroom status, their food and water levels, and how much of what kind of playtime they had.
On one occasion she had to follow my troublemaker dog into a bedroom to retrieve him, and that was detailed in the log as well. I very much appreciated that she noted this as I obviously want to be able to trust people with access to my house. Overall I was very pleased with the treatment that my dogs received. They were tired when I came home from work every day, and always had some fresh water even though I had not requested that she top it off.
My dogs showed no signs of rough or inappropriate treatment. She was friendly, polite and professional, and I will definitely be calling on her again in the future if pet care is needed.
