Established by Tami Guttman, while attending The University of North Texas, Metro Pet Services grew by increasing demand into a full time career. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Psychology, Tami spent four years in the medical field then turned her passion for pets into a full time business venture.

Metro-Pet Services provides exclusive, professional pet nanny and dog boarding services in your home. Let our professional pet sitter(s) come to you and your pet(s). Overnight stays includes the description for pet sitting above however, we sleep over with your pets. We keep your home looking lived in as if you never left.
Luxurious, exclusive, in our home pet care is available for a limited numbers of dogs. We require an on-site interview with the client and the pet to establish if this option is the best choice. This alternative to kenneling your pets is much less stressful during extended stays. We provide a home environment with a dog run, swimming pool, walks, love and professional pet gates to separate the dogs while we leave. We ask you provide their food, treats, bed/blanket, and medication if needed and special toys they enjoy.

I worked as a Metro Pet employee with Tami, for about 7 years on and off! She is a great person and a wonderful boss. She knows how to do business and treats not only her clients with respect and consideration, but her employees as well. She truly has a passion for dogs and animals and runs her business like a champ. She has even cared for my own animals in the past and has some of her own which she treats like children I would recommend her business to anyone who is considering hiring a pet sitter to watch their animals in their own home while away! The animals will be so much happier in their own homes than in boarding

I am VERY particular with my dogs. They are spoiled rotten, and I would not have it any other way. Given that, I have been a VERY happy Metro-pet customer for over 10 years. I work an hour from home, so Metro-Pet comes out and walks my 2 dogs every day for a mid-day potty break. I not only have the peace of mind that they are being very well cared for, I also have the fun and enjoyment of receiving a cute picture and text message update of my dogs out enjoying their walk!
I look forward to this update every day! I love seeing my dogs having so much fun! Every Metro-Pet dog walker I have ever used has been awesome! They treat my dogs like family and really take the time to play with them and give them a great mid-day break. Also, they write a cute "daily activity" report for the dogs. They will comment on everything the dogs did. Yesterday, my dogs saw several squirrels on their walk and spent time watching the garbage truck and sniffing the fire hydrant on the corner!
I have also used Metro-Pet when I go out of town and have had a great experience. The peace of mind of knowing my dogs are well cared for in their own home is priceless. I have two very happy dogs as a result!

I had booked with Metro Pet Services over a week in advance to watch my cats while I was out of town. I scheduled the consultation appointment for them to meet the cats and get my keys and they ended up changing the date on me, so I requested a phone call for a heads up when they plan to head out as they provided a 6 hour window. I have this all. over email, and she decides to email me back with a more specific time 45 minutes before her arrival.
As I had requested a phone call, I didn't check my email until after the time that she gave, and arrived home to a card in my door. She didn't even try to call once. I fly out at 7 AM in the morning and am now scrambling to find a sitter. I would recommend finding a company that cares more about your time, as apparently making a phone call was too much to ask of them.
