There is not much that is more rewarding than being able to take an idea and transform that into something that a customer wants. When I see posts on Facebook with rave reviews about products I created, I am filled with deep satisfaction. I suppose you could say that I started working for Steve's during family dinners on Sunday nights where we would bounce ideas back and forth about new proteins and talk about the different shows my parents were going to.However, I did not get an actual paycheck until 2010 when I moved corporate headquarters from Eugene, OR to the living room of my apartment in Salt Lake City.
Steve's Real Food believes in producing a purely raw product using only whole foods that are known for their nutritional super powers. We try to stay as close to Mother Nature as possible. All of the meat and poultry are free range and fed a species appropriate diet. We do not use any antibiotics or hormones and all animals are humanely raised in the northwest.
To keep our pets healthy and vibrant, they need nutrition above and beyond AAFCO standards. Our tater-tot nuggets are available in the 5-pound bags and the 9.75-pound box which contains two 4.875-pound bags. Our French Bulldog, Sarge, had suffered from diarrhea since we brought him home at 9 weeks. The vet ruled out everything serious and not serious. I tried numerous high-quality grain free kibble every 2 months or so, with no good results - the problem would always come back. He also became very picky and really didn't like the kibble. When Sarge was a year old, I started researching dog foods and learned about raw dog food.
At this point, I didn't think we had anything to lose, so I did some additional research on raw brands. Steve's was pretty high on the recommended lists, so I felt it was worth a try. It was a great decision! Sarge has had no diarrhea since we started feeding Steve's. We give him a variety, changing the meat every meal between beef, pork, turducken, and chicken.
Since we have switched to Steve's 1 years ago, Sarge loves to eat. He can't wait for meal-time! Besides the firm stools, we have noticed additional benefits: No more tear stains! No more bad breath! If he passes gas, you rarely smell it - a real bonus for Frenchies, as they are known for their rank gas! He has become lean and muscular; the vet and groomer always tell us that he's so healthy! More energy! Steve's Raw Food has worked miracles for Sarge, we intend to keep him on it always.

We LOVE this food. My vet says that my dog is the picture of health and I attribute that to the excellent nutrition he gets from Raw Pet Food. He actually prefers it frozen, so I just scoop and serve. I do wish the shipping schedule was a little more flexible to accommodate my revolving dog door fosters, but we just keep a little extra on hand. They all love it and it's great for fattening them up for their journey to our RPM+Colorado rescues.

We have been ordering from Raw Pet Food for about two years now. Our experience has been great because the food has been very nutritious for our dogs. We made our food for about 1 year before we decided that life was simpler ordering the food. We tried another company but there products could no longer be found. Then we found Steve's Raw Food being sold through Raw Pet Food.
After reading many positive reviews we received our first order. There have been about 3 issues with delivery during these 2 years, but Raw Pet Food has always been on top of it with their great customer service. The issues with delivery have stemmed from carrier issues and not from Raw Pet Food. Our dogs have benefited from the healthy food as well.
Our dog that used to have excruciating hip pains before raw food now does not have those. Our dog that had flaky skin is no longer itching and shows no signs of flaky skin. And our third dog that was regurgitating his food constantly now keeps it all down and acts like a puppy!

I am very pleased with Steve's Raw Pet Food. My pets are doing great on it! They are awesome if there's a problem and the customer service is fantastic! I'm very glad I can give my pets such a great diet. I get six bags of food every two weeks. I have 8 cats and a small chihuahua mix. The food comes packed in a Styrofoam container packed with dry ice inside a cardboard box and shipped right to my door.
It's very convenient because I love almost 20 miles from a pet food store. I used to feed my pets dry food and thought I was doing them justice. I'm so glad that I learned a much better way to feed and care for my pets. Their fur is so much softer and shinier and they are more active and playful! Give Steve's Raw Pet Food a try. We love ordering from Raw Pet Food! After the loss of one of our beloved dogs, I started doing a lot of research on causes, food quality etc. The movie "Pet Fooled" was very eye opening. I researched how much the dogs need, what they need to have a balanced diet and so forth. It was so overwhelming! I tried for a month or so to prepare the food myself and with our already packed schedule, searching for quality raw food and preparing it was too much. But, I did not want to give up! So, I turned to high quality frozen raw food.
We tried multiple companies. The first one would not ship to our home, so we had to drive two cities over to find a store it would ship to. It came in logs that we had to thaw, cut, measure and weigh. It didn't save us any time on preparation. The next two companies shipped to our door, but they were still frozen in logs. I was so happy to come across Raw Pet Food!
High quality raw pet food in convenient individually frozen nuggets. I just scoop the amount needed for each dog into individual bowls, thaw and serve! It is shipped straight to my door and we have never had an issue!

I love this place! The food is a great price for a product that I trust. I used to make my own dog food using Dr. Becker's recipes on mercola healthy pets website and when it became too much work I almost gave up on feeding raw because of the cost of other commercial raw dog food products on the market. The customer service is excellent. In the middle of summer during a slow post office week the food came day late. I was able to send a picture to them and get a free replacement for all my thawed meat.

I have been purchasing Steve's Real Food for about 2 years now. The health of my dogs has been improving since day one. My dogs love it and I love that it is delivered right to my door. Shop around, I did and I found they are very reasonably priced for all the nourishment provided in the raw meat and veggies. I encourage you to check out their product ingredients.they're impressive! Shipping is free when you buy 20 or more lbs. I would highly recommend all their products. Give them a try! I don't think you will be dissappointed!
