A good way to train your dog if you want to keep a drink treat bag with you at all times

I took four different classes here. Puppy classes were great! I love that they believe in positive reinforcement training since my first puppy class elsewhere was from a teacher who thought it was ok to use pain as a deterrent (shameful!). When my dog started experiencing pretty intense reactivity their guidance in their specialized class helped me a lot.

My partner wanted to get rid of our dog and I'm grateful to say I ditched the partner and kept working with my beloved Neptune. He still has triggers but rarely has reactive episodes these days and he's way more affectionate, comfortable, and happy since training really enforced healthy boundaries and a strong bond. People constantly remark that he's one of the most respectful and attentive dogs they've ever met, and even people I know who don't really like dogs love him! If we were in Oregon we'd still be training here. Thank you to all training spot staff but I especially appreciated Katie and Jennifer.

The Training Spot a& their Staff are a [click, click] TREAT! What an awesome crew! We've been to four classes with Pancake, every one of them has shown marked improvement in our day to day. Positive reinforcement, personalized tips with professional trainers, socializing with small groups in a well structured environment.need I go on? I haven't gotten a one on one session yet, but so far even the group classes have felt personal enough to have some individualized goals to work on at home. They have a great selection of toys, treats, and other accessories in the building as well.

Heard some excellent personal recommendations and checked out the website and location. Ended up getting four sessions with a trainer for a very large puppy. The private rooms and training spaces are well equipped and the staff is friendly. Multiple people voluntarily helped as we were practicing greeting strangers. I was also emailed a summary and tips after every session. This place was what I was looking for.

I always credit The Training Spot when people comment on what an awesome dog that I have. We have been going to classes and private sessions since I got him as an 8 week puppy. As a 1st time puppy-mom I needed a lot of training. A new puppy can be stressful and it would be a highlight of our week to go there and feel supported. My puppy-dog is now 9 months and we continue to go to classes - he loves it! I've recommended the Training Spot to others with puppies or challenging dogs and everyone has had a positive experience with their positive approach training.

We completed our puppy training course with Ava and were very satisfied. The trainers are very experienced, patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

We brought our hyperactive Labrador puppy for training with Tera. We are experienced Lab owners, but River is a whole different ballgame and we knew we needed some pointers on how to handle her. Tera is a great listener, which helped us to relax and see past our frustration to the many positive attributes of our lovable little demon. She has given us new tools to use at home so we can continue to make progress on our own. The facility is very nice, as well, and we felt perfectly safe with their Covid protocols.

My pit puppy and I have benefited greatly from our 1:1 training with Jen. She has offered many valuable lessons and tools that are tailored to fit the lifestyle we live. All of our lessons have included email follow up and check ins. The facility is easy to find, nice & clean!

We have been thrilled with our experience at Training Spot. Keanna is absolutely AMAZING! She is so kind, so patient and so knowledge. She is one of those special kinds of humans that just makes you smile. We enrolled our baby Leo in classes right away and it was the best decision we could have made. Leo LOVES coming to class and he learns so quickly! Keanna keeps things, short, simple and fun for the puppies.

She also introduced Leo to his first bestfriend! She puts a lot of thought into the arrangement of the puppy stations by placing you next to puppies that she believes would be a good fit - she was spot on! Our "neighbor" in class is a sweet puppy named Eddie. Eddie and Leo have been bestfriends from the moment they met and it is so much fun to watch them play! Leo will be graduating PUP1 next week and we will be taking advantage of every course they have to offer! We truly feel confident that with the help and guidance of Training Spot, we are providing Leo with all of the skills that he needs to be the very best person he can be!

Our vet recommended Training Spot to help us manage our dog's anxiety and fear. We couldn't be more pleased with Tera and the plan she outlined for us. The facility is beautiful and Murray seemed very comfortable and relaxed from the beginning. After our session we received detailed notes with everything down into simple exercises that we can work on in just a few minutes every day in between sessions.

I got quite a bit out of the classes. However, when I missed one for a funeral, no one was able to catch me up on that lesson. Not sure I'd go back as a result. I guess they are super busy but I expected more support. I would have done all the classes offered but I was pretty disappointed they could not spare 5 minutes to help me with a question I had about leash training.

I cannot say enough good things about the Training Spot! It kills me to think about how much time and money I could've saved if I would've went here first! The entire staff is friendly and helpful and truly cares about each pooch that walks in that door! I recommend Training Spot to absolutely EVERYONE! I love how intelligently the private training is structured (I trained with Tera, she is AMAZING!).

We started with discussions and tips while my dog's behavior was monitored, and we progressed to practicing training techniques, and then to actually applying them in appropriate situations. It wasn't just directions, it was WHY we were doing this and how it would help. Everything is just miles above and beyond all the other trainings we tried! I have seen so many positive changes in my dog. We're both happier and less stressed, our lives have been changed for the better! Thank you Training Spot!

The Training Spot structures their classes in a way I hadn't seen before. It has been super helpful for my dog to learn to to calm down. We've only gone through the first series of classes and she already is getting better at calming down around people she would normally be all over. And Lauren is a wonderful trainer, fun and relatable which is a hard thing to come by sometimes in dog trainers.

The Training Spot has the best no stress training classes I have ever been to. The classes are fun, you never made to feel guilty or stupid, each dog has it's own space with no visual of other dogs. Wonderful! Each class is broken down into simple doable effective parts, easy to accomplish. Important life skills taught so your dog is your perfect companion. Fantastic trainers, the best ever. We have been using training spot now for our second generation of dogs, and WE LOVE THEM! They have helped us so much to be better dog parents. They make us feel like we have the special dogs that we truly believe that they can be! Everyone with a fur baby needs socializing to meet their dogs potential and they truly care!

The atmosphere is unfailingly warm and welcoming. The trainers I've worked with are so knowledgeable and patient. I love how they can take my pup and directly and easily show me how to work with him. I always take heart from the encouragement. And best yet, the training is FUN!
