Welcome to our gracious retreat on 3 wooded acres, convenient to the metro Houston area. At ABC Pet Resort & Spa, our staff is specially trained to provide loving and professional pet care, whether your pet stays for a day or longer! We offer dog boarding, daycare, and grooming services for your pets in The Woodlands and Spring, TX, as well as a variety of social events and activities to keep them entertained during their stay.
Services
The entire team at ABC takes pride in having one of the best pet resorts in Houston, TX. We back this claim with our commitment to the International Boarding and Pet Services Association's (IBPSA) Code of Conduct as a member in good standing; by requiring continuing staff training in understanding pet behavior; and by involvement in pet industry education through Dog Gurus, IBPSA, and the Professional Animal Care Certification Council. Each staff member was chosen for their love of animals and is dedicated to providing a happy and safe place for our pet guests.
Suzanne and Al Locker founded ABC Pet Resort & Spa in 1991. Suzanne served eight years on the Pet Care Services Association (PCSA) Board of Directors, representing other pet facility owners in the southern states. During this time, she held the office of President of the Board for one year. The Lockers served as Co-Chairs of the Voluntary Facilities Accreditation Committee, which created standards for pet care facilities and shelters in the United States and around the world.The Lockers are frequently invited to be speakers at seminars for industry organizations, local schools, business chambers and for groups around the world; including as Keynote Speakers at Ausboard 2007 (Australia's pet care industry association).
IBPSA members pledge to provide conscientious care, deal honestly and fairly, respect customer confidence, continuously learn more and improve services, and operate their business honorably. Members abide by the IBPSA Code of Conduct. Our trainers are continuing to advance their skill levels to offer the best solutions for our client's pets.

When we are leaving reviews, let's leave racism out of it. Please STICK TO THE FACTS. I am making my FIRST APPOINTMENT for my new furbaby Reign. She will be getting a bath and a quick nail trim. WORST Grooming experience I have ever had in life! My fur baby has came to this establishment several times for play dates, boarding and grooming. As of today I am very shocked and lost of words. I took my fur baby to get groomed and when picking him up his hair was chopped up and uneven and nails we're still long. I was very specific on how I wanted my baby to look and also showed a picture. remind you I have taken him here before and the service was good.
Let alone I was informed there was 12 dogs in total to get groomed in one day and the company only had one groomer to cut all fur baby's. Honestly I'm very devastated how I was spoken to by the owner Maryann when I brung my fur baby the next day for her to see the damage that was done. She spoke to me in a very hostile manner and was not pleasant to speak with attitude was so nonchalant to were Even the groomer told her to let me speak and to calm down.
Very embarrassing and unprofessional. When I asked the owner to come take a look at the service that was done she acted as if she didn't want to be bothered and made a comment u need to speak to the groomer she is the one who cut him. As a owner that was inconsiderate and shows lack of professionalism and blames everything on the worker and showed no remorse.
I decided to go to pets smart and see if they could help fix my fur baby hair cut and I'm so glad I did what was the odds when I told them what happened as they saw with there own eyes the hair cut the lady use to work for the company and reputation for this establishment is known around the area this company gets a lot of complaints about the grooming services not being good. Honestly I was treated in a disrespectful manner and I am African American and I felt there was racism involved in the way I was treated and I never once was rude I stayed calmed even though my fur baby was done wrong.

Our 3 year old Maltipoo (Mona Lisa) has stayed here a few times already, and every visit has been amazing. Finding this place has been a true blessing for our family. It is so difficult finding a good boarding place for fur babies, but we have hit the jackpot. The customer service is excellent. When our flight got cancelled and we had to extend Mona's stay, they were so understanding and accommodating.
This has been the only place that I don't feel anxiety when dropping my baby off. Danielle did a great job this last visit with updating us on her eating habits, walks and overall stay.

I love this establishment every time I come to bring my yorkie the staff is so nice. But there was one staff member that stood out to me the MOST was very passionate and professional and had me at WOW! Hannah you were amazing from start to finish keep up the great work I wish I could give 10 stars your the best

My dog was boarded here for 3 days and I have zero complaints. I was provided feedback everyday on my dog which was very reassuring. The extra services they offer are plentiful, beneficial, and also very reasonably priced. I'm so pleased in fact, that I've signed my puppy up for training classes. I'll do a follow-up review at completion of the four-week class

I have posted before about how great ABC is and today I just wanted to share a quick story! My dogs are staying there while I recover from surgery and I miss them so much! But as I looked through my mail today, these lovely, sweet and adorable postcards of them came in the mail! Thank you ABC for sending them, they really made my day!
