My first day as an employee of Pets-A-Plenty was in 1975. Today, as sole owner, I have over 30+ years of experience working with and selling reptiles, amphibians, and small mammals. For the past few decades, I have been breeding and studying many different species of reptiles. I have traveled throughout the United States and several other countries studying the natural environments and habitats of reptiles and amphibians to better serve our customers with regards to the health and maintenance of their pets.

Very cool place to visit! Tons of snakes and lizards and turtles to look at. Their pet turkey walks around the store who is pretty cool. Many of these animals I've never been able to see up close before. Cool experience. Got to feed a dead mouse to a frog named cream puff, and that was awesome. Go visit this place! Oh, did I mention you can pay a few bucks to feed an alligator?

Worth the drive, so many exotics to list. Does not smell like other stinky shops. Bought a beardie there, and the experience was so nice. Very educated folks, Onica, hope the spelling is correct was so helpful. I did not have enough heat light to keep the dragon warm. She was able to explain the watts of light for the distance in the tank. RARE, to find this kind of knowledge. And the prices beat any stores in Houston. Check it out, take the family its free.
