I'd give zero if I could. He did not show up to meet us when dropping dig bye sent his brother. He didn't bring the dog to meet us at pick up either. We didn't get any instruction from him. Our dog came back as bad or worse than when she left. We sent food fir 8 weeks. Our dog came home after 3 weeks (supposedly trained). Food was gone and fig was 15 pounds overweight. He also kept the heart guard and flea and tick prevention we sent. Do not send your dog.

I have had Dan care for / board my dogs (3) a number of times prior to covid and have always been very pleased with his care. He picked up my dogs before I left town and dropped them off happy and healthy when I got home. Cannot wait till the Covid passes to get on the road again.

I've had a number of dogs trained by Dan over the last 20 years and they've all made wonderful pets after Dan's help. He has been doing this for 35 years. Most of the bad reviews I see must be your typical fur baby owner who considers their dog a child and needs weekly zoom meeting updates or is one of those pure bred snobs who expects their dog to get a weekly spa treatment and smell like lavender at all times. Dan comes and gets the dog and then calls you a few days before he is going to drop it off.

You can call and check in on your dog anytime. Sometimes he calls back right away and sometimes it takes a few days. No big deal. The amount of time it takes varies on the dogs temperament and age. He has done everything from pit bulls to malti poos for my family and every dog has came back in great health and extremely well trained. So much so it's almost a shock as if it isn't even your dog.

Whenever we have to go out of town for a long time, we won't trust our dog to anyone except for Dan! Our dog loves him so much that he can smell Dan coming up our driveway to pick him up he goes berserk with joy! It's like happy day camp for our dog. It's the highlight of the year!

I have two dogs who are family members. Whoever provides care to them must pass careful scrutiny. If I am going to board them somewhere, I always always visit the place before I leave my pets in their care. I just spoke to Dan to ask about his services. He has a lot of information on the website but he says he is just so busy now that he only trains and boards dogs. (I guess he's too busy to update the website.) I asked to see the property and he said he doesn't have time for that.

He said I should see the videos on the website. Unfortunately, I will not commit to board my dogs anywhere that I haven't seen for myself first and can confirm is a clean and safe place for my pets. He repeated that he is too busy to show me around. So, is he a one man show? No employees? How much attention would my dogs get from a man that is so busy and always says "me" and "I" not "we". I am glad I always check out these places and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this outfit to anyone who really cares about their pets.

There is hardly ever a situation when I am not able to travel with my dog. If I HAVE to leave her somewhere (a week or longer), it's definitely here. When we first adopted my dog, she had been abused and was very timid. Right off the bat, we had a prior weekend commitment out of state - I was so worried about where to leave my baby dog! It was last minute.

We looked at a few boarding facilities before I called Dan. Although it was a stay less than a week, he offered to help out somehow if we couldn't find a good option before the weekend. He gave me recommendations based on the area of town I live in, and fortunately, one worked out. When we had to board our pup for a week, I knew who to call. He picked her up at home, giving her plenty of time to get used to him before leaving.

After a week of fun and lots of good eating outside the city, Dan dropped our dog off right at home. We appreciated the updates when we called during the week, and I especially like the video tours of the facilities that I could watch online ahead of time.

Took my brand new dog here to get some training. Theses guys were the best they were really able to get my dog to listen. Affordable and professional workers. Great customer service.

Leaving my pets when I go out of town is always stressful. When I first moved to Houston 2 years ago I tried boarding at a few different spots and while they were all eh-ok, I was never over the moon happy and then someone recommended Dan at Action Dog USA. At first I was a little apprehensive because it is so far outside of Houston that was quickly a non-issue when Dan told us that he did home pick-up and drop-off at no additional cost.

After our first boarding experience with Dan I knew that we had found our babies home away from home. They came home happy and healthy! While they were happy to see us after being gone a week they were still running over to Dan to be loved up by him before he left. We have used him now on multiple occasions. The price is phenomenal and the care of our pets is the BEST!

We have been out to his facility a few time and it is impeccably clean, the dogs have large outside grass areas to play in and pools to lay in during the summer. It truly is a vacation for the pups when we are out of town.

Our dog needed to be trained so we called Action Dogs and got a price for the dog training the price for it was really good. My dog seemed to love it there and has been doing really well. Plan on taking my dog back

I was going away on vacatioin and needed to find a place for pet boarding, I found Action Dogs USA they had a good price on pet boarding. When I brought my dog there they greeted us and were able to get my dog to like them. Very friendly and clean place. Would use again
