I brought my baby Coco here in December 2021 after she had attacked a lot of chocolates. I didn't know it at the time, but she had a whole hazelnut blocking her intestines. When I brought her in, she was weak and had no type of energy. They didn't waste any time in giving it to me straight that she needed X rays immediately, and that's when they found the hazelnut.
They provided me with the quote for surgery and then provided me with the option of opening a care credit card. the doctor was amazing and caring, Coco received wonderful care and attention. They answered all of my questions, and were extremely helpful. They let me see her before her surgery and let me cry while saying bye. Coco recovered after getting surgery for the first time ever in her 9 years being alive. I'm eternally grateful for the doctors and the supporting staff here! I love this place, 10/10 recommend. Coco wouldn't be here today if it weren't for them.

A couple of days ago I came to this clinic to get help for my dog, since she isn't doing very well. She's a senior and I started seeing here urine color come out more brownish and knew something was terribly wrong. This is my first time visiting this clinic and is my last! My dog came here for one thing only, and it was for her urine to be checked out. Now, I did mention to the doctor that once she sees her, she will be walking bowlegged due to her back legs not forming correctly.
All her life she was still able to run, walk, play, jump, etc without any problems. It is when we returned home a day later, after visiting the vet, is when she couldn't walk anymore. I had a couple issues with this clinic; for one, they do walk-in if there is no appointments available, but by doing that it's like 2-3hrs when your being done with the vet.
It's almost an hour for them to just set you in a room, then have a vet doctor see your animal. Two, they examine and then they take it and it's long until they come back with your problem. Three, they tell you what "might" be wrong but to fully know the issue they need more test. I feel like all they care for is money. They clearly want your money!
After seeing my poor doggy walking worse then how she came in, I called the vet and asked for a full detailed explanation of what they did to her when they took her to the back and what they did to her legs since it was something I didn't ask to be checked. It is when I found out they were pulling her legs, like stretching them, is when I knew that was the issue. By doing that, they damaged her legs even more. My dog was sick but we came home to an even more sicker dog then how we left to begin with.

This vet clinic does not care about your pet's health! All they care about is money! My dog came in with Diarrhea and vomiting and they wanted to do a bunch of tests which is understandable after the tests and X-rays they just said she was nauseous and had an upset stomach which they gave her a shot for the nausea and prescription food. A few days later, she had diarrhea again.
I called and they prescribed a medicine. After giving her the medicine she got constipated. I called after 3 days and they said to wait till the next day. They did not advise me to schedule an appointment to bring her in. Fast forward to the next day still constipated. I called and they wanted me to bring her in but did not have any open appointments so they wanted to charge me a walk-in rate when she has been seen by them and the medicine they prescribed might have caused the diarrhea.
I got frustrated and asked for her medical records so I can switch her over to another vet and they did not care at all! They actually said yeah that's fine! ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MONEY NOT YOUR PET! If I could give them zero stars I would! Update: dr. White is the best! She is not the front desk individual she reached out and explained the situation.

Thanks to the professional and compassionate medical team that treated my chocolate lab who got into some chocolate milk duds. They kept the clinic open late to treat her and were patient and kind as they performed the necessary treatment. My Tess is resting peacefully and safely thanks to this outstanding veterinarian and technicians.

We have been bringing our pup to the Meyerland Animal Clinic for the past year and love Dr. Hughes! Every visit has been a pleasure. We've always been given as much time as we need to get questions answered and truly feel this office does a great job. All of the office staff have been friendly and helpful. Five stars!

Took our dogs there for 9 years and the care was fine, expensive but i guess that's the price of convenience. Expect to get popped with a $70 "wellness exam" even if you just go in for a heartworm test/prescription. Even if you specify that you don't want a check up, you will still have to argue when you get to the desk because the 5 minutes of prodding and looking in ears cost you $70

We have been with Meyerland Animal Clinic for almost 20 years. Our 6 dogs have seen almost all the doctors there. The doctors are professional, knowledgeable, yet friendly. The assistants are top notch people who care about our pets. Their front desk people are super helpful and effective for customer service. Even during pandemic with all the public restrictions, their service is still excellent.
We currently have a 15-year-old dog with cancer, Dr. Pella and Shannon work above and beyond for us to be sure he's comfortable and getting proper care. Their compassion and caring really make busy pet owners feel being supported! Dr. R and Dr. White always call us back if we have any questions after our visits. I have recommended Meyerland Animal Clinic to several friends before, and their feedback after visits were also positive. Yes, this is definitely a consistent and professional vet services for our babies. I would give them 6 stars if I could!
