Pet Suite Retreat At Pet Suite Retreat, we strive to give your pet unsurpassed care whether it be boarding, grooming or daycare. With more than 20 years of experience, we are proud of the fact that we are now caring for a second (and third) generation of animals for a significant number of our clients. Like people, dogs don't automatically love every other dog. Our job is to make sure each dog in our charge is playing with a group of dogs that he or she really likes to play with. Our playtime is outside in our large play yards (complete with digging areas) so the dogs have lots of running room and play harder than if they were playing indoors.

Services
To insure maximum socialization with other guests, please schedule your vet visit not less than one week prior to boarding. You may fax the form to us, bring it with you when you visit us prior to your pet's first visit. We must receive both the form and vaccination records prior to your pet's check-in date to confirm reservations.
It doesn't have to be 85 and sunny for your pup to enjoy the water - our pool is open year-round!. Not only is swimming a great exercise for your dogs, it's also therapeutic for those with joint or ACL issues as it provides a low impact alternative to normal play activities. Our swim coaches will swim with your pup, cradling him or her to provide a secure feeling while experiencing water for the first time.

My dog Coco has boarded here twice. Each time, it seems like she has done great and been very well taken care of. This time when she came home she was slightly dirty in spots and that made me happy because it meant she had plenty of opportunity to be outside and play! The staff were extremely caring and friendly when we dropped her off and picked her up. They seem to truly know each dog personally and put lots of effort into making every dogs stay a success. Coco will definitely be back! (I would give six stars)

This place is incredible. I left my two cats here for 1 week and when they started out, they hated it. Now I was nervous because they were placed in the socializing room with other cats and my cats aren't the social type, especially Milo (One of my cats)who cant stand even new people being around him. But once I left and came back, I was surprised because.

They loved it there. They were around all the other cats they were originally afraid of, they were kind to the little kittens in there, and they were jumping all over the place. Before we had to pull them out the cage, Today we had to push them in to bring them home. 100% recommend this place

Pet Suite Retreat is awesome! Been taking my dog there for years and he loves it. When we first got him, we took him to Camp Bow Wow and they pack the dogs in like sardines. We found out quickly that our dog is not as compatible with some other dogs and they said they'd kick him out if he didn't change. Pet Suite Retreat had absolutely no problem with our dog in the 5 years we've been taking him.

They treat the dogs on an individualized level, making sure dogs are compatible when setting them in the play area. 10x better than Camp Bow Wow for sure. The staff is very accommodating. They knew his name very quickly and recognize myself or my wife when we come to pick him up. Before the pandemic, we took our dog there 3 to 4 times per week to get out all that energy.

Since the pandemic and working from home, we try to bring him at least once a week. This place is a life saver and deserves to stay in business. We bring our dog in for boarding and often without scheduling ahead of time. Again, very accommodating. Holidays are usually busy for boarding though, so we tend to plan ahead by letting them know. Oh and not sure they do this for everyone, but to show their appreciation for us bringing our dog in all year, they gave us a nice Christmas gift calendar of all the fun our dog had over the past year. I don't think we got one for this year, but at least 3 years prior we did. But so awesome none the less!

My wife and I went on vacation and while we were away our dogs got in a fight. Our dogs are both rescues and we realize that the change in the environment was a lot of stress on them. Everyone at Troy Pet Suite Retreat were amazing! They kept us up to date how our dogs were doing and made sure none of the abrasions got infected. Couldn't ask for better care. Really appreciate you guys!

When I boarded my beagle, I dropped her off with her bed and toys to keep her comfortable. My beagle is 9 and has never peed or pooped inside the house, much less her own bed. She is potty trained and will go every time she is let out. When I picked her up from her boarding her poor bed was soaked in pee, I had to throw it out and instantly buy her a new one there was no way I was going to be able to wash it and make it decent. This just tells me how poorly they took care of her. I will never be letting her stay in this place again. Terrible service, I'd give 0 stars if I could

I left my baby dragon there for a week and I'm not going to lie but I was VERY NERVOUS. It was my 1st time being away from him but I am glad he was kept in the hands of Pet Suit Retreat. They took very EXCELLENT care of him while we were out of town and they follow your routine very closely. They make you feel comfortable with their friendly attitude towards pets and their knowledge about the variety of animals they keep. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a pet baby sitter! Thanks you guys very much!

I'm giving 4 stars now but I will update ASAP. I just dropped off my girl the date is 1/24/21. I'm might be back in a week or less. I took a tour and the place seems clean. No bedding so I'm glad I have my girls bed with me in the truck. I was actually in one of spaces. Climate control area, not hot, but thank it's not Evan close to cold. The play area for the pets is good size and the last I dealt with seems knowledgeable and very nice.

The last time I left her in a kennel, I was not happy and honestly I don't know this place will be. I'm giving 4 stars now cause the place where the dogs sleep is clean and warm, staff is friendly, and looks good based what I seen. We'll see how it goes.

I took my dog here for daycare on a weekly basis for 2 years until he was attacked by another dog, an incident that was handled very poorly. I got a call that he had a cut on his nose that they thought might have been from a break in the fence. I pick him up to find cuts on his nose, throat, and leg- confirmed by the vet as bite marks. I call back for an explanation and no one knows what happened because no one was outside with the dogs.

I just assumed that was a given for doggie daycare, but it sounded like that isn't their policy and no apology/plans on changing that. I understand that a fight can break out at any time between dogs even with careful screening. But that's why someone needs to be supervising, to intervene immediately before there are serious injuries. Now my dog is left with a permanent scar on his face and fear of other dogs.

Used to love play dates and the dog park. now he whimpers and begs to be picked up. 4 months later and I still find myself holding a scared 50-pound baby as he's shaking in my arms. We loved this place, but safety should be first priority and discovering that dogs are left unsupervised was a deal-breaker.

I love this place! They take great care of my big old fur baby when we are out of town. I dont have to worry if he is being taken care of. They also have great prices on grooming and do THE BEST job on my dogs nails! No one else has ever gotten his nails looking this good! Other places always leave them very long! I highly recommend this place!

My boys love it here. They've boarded twice, 5-6 nights each visit, and come outside with tails wagging. Can't say enough about the care they received and the amount of play time. Staff is very friendly and my dogs seem to really like them. Always excited when we pull into the drive. Going back again in a few weeks for another overnight stay.

This our second daycare for our puppy, Brody and we couldn't be happier with Pet Suite Retreat Too! The staff is so friendly and helpful. I love the updates I get when I pick Brody up about his new friends or the day he had. The hours are super convenient and prices are affordable too! Brody is running towards the door when I drop him off. He loves being able to go swimming as well. We can't say enough good things about this place! :

Pet Suite Retreat is truly amazing. I just recently started a new job which meant both my boyfriend and I would be away from home from 8am-6pm during the week, so we knew we had to start looking around for daycares for our 8 month old puppy, Apollo. I was very leery and nervous about putting him in daycare at first (my family dogs were never in daycare/boarded) but I'm so happy this place exists.

The first day I went in, they gave me a tour, talked about prices, answered all of my questions and let Apollo run around for a bit outside. They let me drop Apollo off for a few hours for free over the weekend so they could get to know him and his temperament before letting him play with the other dogs, which I thought was amazing. Every time I bring him in, the ladies behind the desk are so sweet and so excited to see him.

I am very relieved to know that he's well taken care of during the day and not stuck at home alone. The best part of all of this is Apollo is absolutely exhausted when he gets home from playing all day and sleeps through the night like a baby! Thank you all for providing excellent care for the pets and excellent customer service!

I've utilized the services at Pet Suite Retreat twice; once last summer and once this summer. On both occasions, I was disappointed with the care my two guinea pigs received. The feeding schedule I provided was not followed correctly and when I went to pick them up from their most recent stay, another animal's food was in their food dish.

This made me wonder how much of the correct food was given to them during the duration of their stay. It also seemed as though they were not played with while on their stay. Guinea pigs are social animals and need interaction with each other as well as their caregivers. My last issue was with the cleanliness of the cage; their cage has a fleece sheet on the bottom to catch their urine and poop.

Upon my return on both occasions, the fleece covering was not spread across the entire floor of the cage and the bottom of the cage was filthy as a result. My guinea pigs' fur was also filthy because they had to sit and sleep in the filth that was accumulating in the cage. While I cannot speak on the quality of the cat and dog boarding services, I was not pleased with the way my small pets were taken care of. I will be shopping around next time I need to board them somewhere.

My dog loves going here, she is deaf and when we go to the door she gets all excited. We have been taking her here for a few years now and we would not go any other place

Our dogs (and us) love Pet Suite Retreat! Or dogs are well taken care of and the staff is friendly. Love the fact that we can leave our vehicle there when we fly out of town and can have them pick us up at the airport and retrieve our dogs right away. We've been going to Pet Suite Retreat for years and highly recommend it. It was recommended to us by friends and when I went to check out the kennel for the first time, they took me right back to show me. Other kennels would only let you come at certain times.

I took my pets here when my husband and I went on our honeymoon. When we came back my cats paws were pee stained and my dogs and their beds were covered in pee! Thank god we had our truck because the blankets and beds were soaked. When you leave your pets to go on vacation you hope they are taken care of and they didn't seem like they were.

I was dissapointed by Pet Suite Retreat today. I've taken my two dogs there once already and previously liked it. They stayed two nights this past weekend and when I picked them up this time my older dog was returned with all of her canned food unopened. She was supposd to be fed 3/4 a can in the morning with dry and 3/4 at night with dry. When I looked in her bag four cans were full and the fifth one was only half empty, which I was told by the girl at the front desk she gave her just this morning.

There was also a lot of dry food left which should have been gone for two dogs if they were both eating it. It just makes me worried they were not fed, and it also makes me worried she was not given her medicine that she can not abruptly stop. I was also told that my smaller dog's vaccines were out of date which I left copies of when I initally dropped them off. I will unfortunately have to look elsewhere next time :

Pet Suite is great, they let the dogs out to socialize and even have an option to view a camera so you can see how your dog is doing with other dogs. Great place with a very fair price and the staff is very friendly!

Thanks for taking such good care of my little guy, Jackson! His stay with you was his first night away from us and we were nervous, but he appeared happy and comfortable when we picked him up. I like how you let the dogs interact with humans while they stay with you rather than spending non-play time in kennels. I'm sure that made him feel more at home.

I needed a place for my reactive, currently in heartworm treatment, recently adopted GSD when I took my son to college. The staff at PSR were SO nice to her. Don't let the little "cells" freak you out. The dogs get lots of interaction, and the staff care about the dogs. I tried to get her a suite but they were all booked, and I think it was better that she was near a bunch of other dogs for company.

They groomed her (costs extra), and when I got there she was thrilled to see me, but very happy. They let you bring whatever you can fit in the little dog room to make the dogs feel at home. I will go back.

It is never easy to part with your pet. My home was undergoing renovation and I looked at several places. Pet Suite was reasonable, however they went far beyond that, they care. The staff really loves animals. I left my cat aprox. 6 weeks, which of course seemed like a lifetime. I was able to visit him and many times when I would show up they were playing with him.

They really gave him lots of love and attention. I was also very impressed at how clean they keep the rooms and facilities. I actually think when I took my cat home, the staff missed him, that is how much they love working with their pets. They truly love their jobs and pets.

Friendly staff, they let us pick up our dog even after operation hour. I have an energetic dog, but he was pretty calm and ready to go to sleep when he got home, so I assume he got plenty of play there.

They tamed my dog! I boarded an older Rott here for a week. She can get pretty aggressive with people so I was apprehensive about leaving her for a week. To my surprise she was happy and playfull with the staff when I came to pick her up. I'm very happy with Pet Suite Retreat.

The owner has raised her rates twice recently. She changes her mind on her rates.
