Pet Nanny

We hired pet nanny to fill in for our regular pet sitter who wasn't available. The pet nanny we ended up with was fine but the entire process was a bit messed up. Someone different than who I met ended up being the pet sitter which made us slightly uncomfortable. Also, the rates were significantly higher than our normal petsitter and they have gone up since we used their services. They helped us in a time of need, which I appreciate, but I will not be using their services again.

We have used Pet Nanny twice, so far, and will certainly be using them in the future. It is so good to feel comfortable with leaving your pet home alone knowing someone will be coming in to see them, play with them and feed them. Our cat normally is not very friendly when she meets someone but, she really seems to enjoy Carmen and has even gotten in Carmen's lap. Carmen plays with her, talks to her, feeds her, scoops her poop and gives us reports on what she has and hasn't done. We are so glad we found Pet Nanny and Carmen. Keep up the good work, you are worth every penny and give us great peace of mind.

We have used the Pet Nanny on a number of occasions for our cats and they have been so reliable and great with our animals. They are patient and keep us up on how they are doing while we are gone. The pricing is very reasonable and better than putting them up at the vets as they can stay in their own home. I would recommend them for any of your pet needs.

I've used Pet Nanny to walk my dogs mid-day and take care of them while I'm out of town. The business owner is incredibly responsive and helpful, and the dog nannies are great - they even sent pictures while I was out of town. I'd highly recommend!

Jan, the owner of Pet Nanny, and Jennifer, our pet nanny, have been 100% friendly, responsible, and perfectly communicative. We travel for short or long trips for pleasure and our volunteer work, and we feel such trust for this team because they have proven their trustworthiness over at least three years now. I get regular messages from Jennifer while we are away, and Jan responds to communications swiftly and clearly. We know our dog Chico and cat Bella - and our home - are in such good hands with this company, and we rest with ease when we are away. Much gratitude.

Pet Nanny is great. Morgan my pet sitter is fantastic, I don't worry about my cats, I am able to enjoy my vacation. I am confident they are checked on and taken care of. They get to stay home in a familiar environment and have run of the house.

They are great, they worked with us because we had a older cat that needed medicine. They also keep us updated and shared pictures. Andrea was the one working with us. We will definitely used them again.

We left our two cats for over a week in the care of Jennifer, a Pet Nanny team member. She did an outstanding job of caring for our fur family members. She sent pictures of our boys each time she visited and was well worth the price. I will rely on her again and again.

So the owner wrote back pretty quickly, soon after I inqired. She answered all of my questions. But she first said that the cost was $25 for an hour. Then I asked if I could "split it into 2 -1/2 slots) Then she told me that the "actual time spent with my animal is usually 30-40 minutes". My cat was rescued from a hoarders house, she has PTSD. I can't afford them to come twice at 50.00 per day. I've researched that the going rate is $12-$15 per 30 minute visit with your pet.?

I can't afford that kind of price at $25 for only 30-40 minutes! I decided not to go with them because I found family and friends to pet-sit for us this time. I do need a permanent solution, though. The woman who emailed was kind enough. She told me all about how they have all of these good ratings and such. But I felt deceived because she first said $25 per hour.

I would've paid that if THAT was time spent with my pet while I'm away. But then it changed to me paying for "travel time"(when she'd said they had 4 people right nearby my home, in my town). Why do I pay travel time for someone who lives in the same town? I didn't really like that so much. Also, I was not happy that when I wanted to split the "hour" into 2 x 1/2 hours, I was then told I was truly only getting 30 minutes with & for my pet.

Plus paying for travel to and from my home. I don't pay travel time for any other services? (Plumber, maid service, lawn service etc.) I will keep looking for a more permanent solution. ***I saw the response from this company. I did not say anything untrue or unkind. I only stated my own interactions & why I did not choose them. * I want to reiterate that I did not use this company because of the reasons stated above.

I I've been an elite Yelper for 10 years. I would never say anything which I did not experience first hand. I only wrote my review about my own interactions with this company. I wanted the perspective customers to know how my interactions with thIs company went. I wanted them to know how this company works. I also decided to add one more star because they were kind enough when I inquired.

I thought this was a great concept as opposed to taking my cat to be boarded where it would cause my pet more stress than just leaving her home. I thought it was a bit pricy- $25 for a 30 minute visit, but for the convenience it was worth it to me. Everyone was professional and nice and they could accommodate my requests at short notice. I thought they were great. until they lost my house key.

They never called to tell me and it wasn't until I called to set up an appointment that I was informed. I know mistakes happen but provided my house key was lost who knows where and who knows with who I would have thought informing me should be a priority. I will never use them again because of this.

Great experience with our pet sitter Mindi. She cares for our two bunnies while my husband and I are away and leaves detailed descriptions of the care given and how they're doing. She's even picked up the mail, watered the plants, and cleaned up after my messy little bunnies. It's so nice to leave and know that they're in great hands!

Before finding Pet Nanny, I used to take my cat Feebie to a boarding service. The last time I left here there, she had severe anxiety issues. When I picked her up, she had actually chewed through her skin and had a gaping, open wound that required surgery to repair. I then used Pet Nanny the next time I went out of town. Janet Connor is wonderful!

I had a pet sitter named Morgan that took care of my cat Feebie. The daily reports that Morgan left after I arrived home were so cute, and I was confident that Feebie had a good time while I was gone. I could see that she had all the attention that I would have given her if I was home. Sadly, Feebie passed on a few months ago due to health problems that were untreatable. But, I will always be grateful for the excellent care that Morgan gave Feebie; I would confidently recommend Pet Nanny very highly to anyone!

For any animal, cats especially, being in a boarding situation is very stressful. Being in the comfort of their own home is the best situation. Trustworthy, reliable and professional. My wife and I have used their services twice and plan to again in the future! We recently had a death in the family and had to go out of town. Not only were they prompt in replying for a request, they were compassionate and flexible to an ambiguous situation and schedule. Highly recommended!

Finding out about Pet Nanny was the best thing that's ever happened to me. I scheduled an interview on super short notice but Emma and Jan were incredibly kind and flexible. I get so nervous when I leave my sweet girl but I seriously didn't have any reservations about leaving Pet Nanny in charge. Emma took such great care of my baby and sent me pictures every day.

Not to mention they leave notes about everything they do with your pet while you're away. Their prices are great and they make it super easy for you to pay. They absolutely have your pets best interest in mind. I will never hire anyone other than this service ever again. THEY ARE THE BEST!

I have been a customer of Pet Danny's for almost 10 years. Jenn has been our walked for a long time. She treats my pets like they are part of her family. Very professional and reliable. I locked myself out of the house one day and called Jenn. She came right over to let me in. I'm a loyal customer and have referred others to Pet Nanny.

I was very upset when Jan came into my home without my permission at a time I was not scheduled to have a dog walk. I discontinued service and will not use Pet Nanny again. Be careful who you trust with a key to your home!

I needed a pet sitter for my two cats, and decided to go with a professional service, since my last experience with my friend's twentysomething daughter ended in a broken window. This was a last-minute getaway, and Jan was able to line up a sitter with just three days notice. Gladys was our sitter, and she came over for a consultation. She was so thorough during the meeting that I felt completely comfortable leaving my cats with her.

They both came out to inspect the new person, and they warmed up to Gladys right away. I think cats just know. When we got home, Gladys had left a detailed report on what she did during her visit - feeding the cats, cleaning the litter boxes, and playing with the them. She had cleaned up after herself, washing the utensils she used to get the cat food. Gladys brought in the mail, and would have watered the plants if I had any. I would highly recommend Gladys and the Pet Nanny service.

We are so happy we found Pet Nanny to watch our wonderfully spoiled cat. In the past, when we have gone on vacation, our cat would get boarded, which for a cat who is not used to being in a cage and is used to lots of individual attention, is not a good situation. We contacted Pet Nanny before our last vacation, and almost immediately scheduled our introductory visit with Jen. Jen worked around our schedule and got familiar with our environment and our cat before we left for our vacation.

While we were on vacation, she sent us detailed text updates from every visit so we weren't worried. We got home to a stack of written notes and a very happy cat. I would 100% recommend Pet Nanny and Jen especially to anybody who is worried about their fur-baby. Now we are no longer worried about our cat when we go on vacation.

I used Pet Nanny for the first time this past week when I was out of the country. I was a little nervous because I had never left my pet with anyone other than friends. I will never leave my cat with anyone else again. They were extremely professional, easy to use and I know my pet was well cared for. When I spoke with the owner initially I could tell that she was passionate and loved pets and her business. Stacy was my sitter and she sent me a picture of my pet while I was gone and left the most detailed notes.

She described my pets behavior so well it was obvious she had spent plenty of of time with him and I felt like I was right there with them. This is a wonderful service and I am so glad I have found them. I won't ever had to worry about my pet when I am out of town again!

Pet Nanny provides excellent services for my felines, each and every time I've called on them since 2010. Chris has been my cat sitter and has always had excellent rapport with my trio / quartet, so much so that when I return home, the beasts provide the proverbial."oh, you're back". A sign that they've been well cared for / played with, and my return is barely noticed. I wouldn't have it any other way.
