Services
The pet is then bathed in the appropriate shampoo. The most common shampoo we use is aloe vera based. This a great over all skin and hair cleaner. Other shampoos are used based on skin condition, if there are mats, any parasites and the amount of dirt in the coat. While the pet is in the tub, the anal sacs are express, ears are cleaned and when possible, the nails are cut.
This is where we will highlight one of our clients pets every month. We will give a short history of the pet and a color photo. This month is Andrea Kyriacou's newest addition to her family. This is Chino. He is a 9 year old Chihuahua who was given up to a local veterinarian to be euthanized because the family no longer wanted this little charmer.

I cannot say enough good things about You Dirty Dogs Pet Grooming, Andrea is awesome! I have been taking my dogs to her for over 15 years and she does a great job. Andrea is probably one of the smartest "Dog People" that I know, she is extremely knowledgeable in all matters of your dog's health and well being. She takes pride in her work and is honest and reliable. Andrea is the BEST!

Took my cat here two times. First time I had asked for her to cut any mats out of her long fur, she lectured me that I should never shave my cats mats so she kept her there for approximately 8 hours brushing out the mats. I was hesitant on taking my cat back the second time as I could tell my cat was stressed from the first visit, but once again it took close to 8 hours to pick up my cat and she tells me that my cat did horrible and was an aggressive cat.
Never has any other groomer or vet said this about my cat and I've seen how she is when she's scared, she becomes a shaky little ball of fluff. It's all in the way you handle the situation with a stressed out, scared animal and the owner does it absolutely poorly. If you truly care about your pet I recommend going somewhere else.

We have taken our dog to You Dirty Dogs once per month for the past 5 years and Andrea is extremely good at cutting his hair and grooming him. She charges a fair and consistent price, does a tremendous job; is very friendly and easy to work with on everything including appointment changes. My wife and I highly recommend You Dirty Dogs Pet Grooming!

Very, very unpleasant experience for myself and my dog. She groomed *half* of my terrier, and told me she needed to be medicated in order to finish. Charged me full price. Wanted another $65 to finish her. Our dog was in shock when we picked her up. I've never seen her so out of sorts. I wouldn't let this lady anywhere near my dog. Took her to another groomer and she was fine. Groomer told us all the terrier needed was a reassuring voice while grooming.

I have had 2 shelties. Both have had grooming and care by Andrea. She raised her price once for a flea shampoo by $10. This is not over pricing, just proper care for a professional groomer. When you pick up your pet, she will discuss any problems, habits, or behavior with you when you pay for the work. Never have I had a problem. This is the process of a college educated pet groomer. Professionalism, bound by ethics and compassion for your pet and its owner.
