If I could give this vet negative stars I would. They don't even deserve one star. I brought my dog in because her eyes were swollen shut. I also told them that she lost her appetite and just laid around the house all day. They looked at her eyes and said that it doesn't look like an eye infection. They gave us eyedrops for an eye infection just in case.
My dogs breed is high-risk for glaucoma. They didn't even test the pressure in her eye. If they had done that they would have realized that she does in fact have glaucoma. So because they didn't test her for it and give her the right treatment, my not even two-year-old dog is permanently blind and in excruciating pain every single day. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do. I will probably have to put her through surgery to remove her eyeballs now so she isn't in pain. My heart is shattered as my dog is my best friend

Wife my wife and I have been coming here for years with our dogs. They are amazing compassionate and our dogs love them to death. Plus their grooming service is top-notch. We've also had unfortunately put down a couple of our for babies in the past and they've been nothing but awesome when assisting us with this. We will never go to another place. These people are like family.

Westland Vet is one of the two vets we take our dog to. Their availability tends to be a lot better than our other vet, but they are a bit more expensive. The staff is nice and whatever we need done tends to go by pretty quickly. I remember one of the doctors there actually recognized us after not being there for months which was pretty amazing to me!

I've been to many vets but I needed an appointment sooner so I tried Westland. What a mistake! I knew things were off to a bad start when I was loudly told a rounded up figure of how many minutes I was late. From seven minutes to ten and was told that she needs to check if i can keep my appointment. Things just continued from there so I'll spare the details because that alone was already unprofessional.
The staff and doctor were the most petty and passive aggressive people I've dealt with in a long time. They didn't once show that they care about my pet so I left. There are plenty of other places that actually care.

All of the above. Going to a new vet with beloved pet is always nervous for you and the dog but Annie settled in and the staff was top notch and professional. Annie has her surgery scheduled and why I'm always nervous about this I know she is in good hands. Before leaving after the exam I had the confirmation of the diagnosis and what the surgery will entail.
