Edit: Just thought I'd edit this and say I found fleas on him a day or two later. My boy isn't neutered yet so they told me he wouldn't be allowed to be around any other animals while there so it must've been the run he was in or equipment. Hate spending over $100 on a full groom only to have my pup sent home with fleas instead. Just something to consider.
Such a good job! Will definitely be a regular with this grooming department! The staff is super helpful exploring your needs and wants with grooms, trainings and boarding. Their shuttle service is also such a plus.

This was my first time using Lone Star Pet Lodges. We had recently moved to the area, and needed a new place to take our pets, so I found this place online. They had good reviews, but after my experience, I will never bring my dogs back! Not only did they lose my blanket, but when I picked my dogs up, they were both covered in poo, especially my little guy.
Both dogs also had to run outside to go potty. I can only assume they were neglected the entire time of their stay. I would not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I be bringing my pets back!

I came here before the pandemic and it was a lovely experience. But now ridiculous! My dog is just extra excited when she gets to go to daycare. I paid $30 for daycare for my dog to not even be able to play with other dogs or staff. I was told my dog is too overstimulated to play with other dogs. I saw other dogs barking and jumping around what was the issue with my dog pacing behind a fence watching other dogs and these dogs that are barking and jumping up on the gate!
Then the lady gets on the phone acting as jolly as can be and tells me that until my dog calms down she won't be able to play! Telling a dog to calm down to play with other dogs is ridiculous. There was no aggressive behavior, no excessive barking or anything! Won't be back!

Bella was very happy at Lone Star, which is alot as she has some anxiety meeting new people and new places. What I appreciated when we dropped her off; the care giver did not pull or drag her back to the kennel area. He waited patiently until she was ready to follow. The groom that she had was very nice. The call from the groomer before the grooming, asking what I wanted was very apprciated. Bella was groomed accordingly. Overall very pleased with Lone Star.

Update. My dog absolutely loves to go to daycare. He's met a lot of great friends, and the staff takes good care of him. Highly recommend. Had initial evaluation today. Am pleased with how they handled the intro to other dogs. Feedback was sparse, other than some pictures and 4 generic questions with answers. Would like more visibility into play areas. A lot of blind spots or complete lack of cameras.

Went through the huge hassle of signing up online, filling out all paperwork, uploading vaccine records, etc. But couldn't schedule the initial evaluation online. Called, no one answered the phone. So I went by in person(on a Friday) only to be told they only do evaluations M-Th. There were at least 4 or 5 staff members standing around doing nothing, this policy makes no sense whatsoever - my dog is the friendliest 12lb goldendoodle. It is 2022, update your website with all relevant information, make signing up easier and stop wasting people's time. You've lost my business.

Absolutely the best place to bring your pets. They take cats, birds, bunnies, dogs, etc. The staff is wonderful and genuine, prompt and clear with communication. They have a wonderful grooming department, the head groomer has been grooming for over 11 years. They also have an amazing trainer who is very good at her job. Don't even get me started on the dedicated daycare program which they have an experienced dog behavioralist and team. They also sell food and treats for pets>> check Facebook for a virtual tour if you would like to see what it's like before heading by.

Staff was very informative and helpful. I showed up for a tour with no appointment and the facility was nice, clean and ready. My dogs were there only two days, but they seemed fine when i picked them up and through out the next day they showed no signs of stress of discomfort. I will definitely be using them using Lone Star again. Thanks for taking good care of my babies!

From the moment I walked into the lobby I was hooked. I know my fur dog baby, Bailey will enjoy her stay. The location smells fresh and clean and is decorated beautifully. Bailey's sleep area is more than roomy for her and extremely adequate for her needs. She was evaluated to participate in day camp today. I was thrilled to receive pictures and her review.
When I picked her up she was so happy, tail wagging and believe it or not a smile on her face. I am now extremely confident in boarding her for the 11 days we will be out of town. I know she will be taken care of and loved. Thank you to all the amazing employees of Lone Star Pet Lodges.
