I worked here when I was a young woman, around 21. The owner was physically and verbally abusive to me and other employees more than once. If anyone ever has a legal case against the kennel, contact me and I will testify.

I am so happy that I found this kennel for my dogs! Everyone there is very kind and professional. They made my very shy and frightened puppy dogs feel at home. I will definitely recommend Pecan Grove Kennel to all of my animal living friends!

We have been going here for years. We recently took our 2 dogs and cat here. Both our dogs are elderly. On the day we were returning home (10th day at the kennel) we get a call early am to ask us if our dog could be shaved because he had diarrhea. We said OK. We get there to pick up our precious dog and they have to carry our sheltie to the car. He couldn't keep his head up.

He couldn't walk and was trying to vomit in the car on the ride home. He was shaved down to his skin, even his tail, with nick marks for being shaved so close to the skin. He lost over 5 lbs. We took him to the Vet where he remains on an IV. He will probably have to be put down today. What pains me is not knowing how long he was like this and why we weren't called sooner to ask if he could be brought to a Vet or hospital.

He was at this kennel for 10 days. He obviously wasn't eating much because he lost a lot of weight. Why weren't we called before 10 days and how long was our poor dog suffering like this! We were told by the kennel owner that we brought him in like this! I can't imagine what our poor dog went through in those 10 days. I am so sad!
