Best pet food store in the south suburbs, hands down. They have a huge selection of bagged dog food. They also have a lot of useful home/ yard / farm stuff, like raccoon traps, large dog travel cages, bird seed, yard ornaments, etc. Small selection of live animals like birds and hamsters. They do pet grooming on select days (Lansing). This place is just an absolutely amazing, legacy, establishment. I think property values in Lansing would go down if the store closed.

I love Ted's! I've been coming here for over 10 years to buy my Pet food & their prices are fair; in fact when I lived on the Northside of Chicago I would still come to Ted's because the price was so much cheaper than the city "pet boutiques". The staff is friendly. I also enjoy shopping at local family owned business vs a chain store.

I go out of my way to go to Ted's. I love the red barn and the staff are always so nice! I can find things here for my fur babies that I can't find anywhere else. I also have a feral kitty colony that I care for and I can always count on Ted's to have straw for their shelters. They are also nice enough to carry it out to my truck for me.

Wonderful place to get great quality pet food for less money than Petco and Amazon. I never have to worry about them not having my dogs food. Always stocked and if for some reason they didn't have it in store, they request it from their other local store and have it there later or next day. Customer for life!

By far my go to pet store! Love this place! everyone is always friendly and very knowledgeable about the products vs going into a chain pet store where they have no idea on what products they sell. They have the better quality food and always have sales going on. They have a reward program as well after you purchase a certain amount of food. They have the best quality and all natural pet treats. I can walk in and they already know what dog food I need. The employees are always there to help.

Best place ever! When I lived in the city and frequented Parker's, I thought I would never find another pet store home as great as that place. When they closed I was devastated. Then I found Ted's. The staff is awesome, they have everything I need, and it's just like visiting old friends, whenever I go. If you have the opportunity to shop there, you should. I go to the one on Burnham but I'm sure the one in Schererville Indiana is just as awesome.

I enjoy going to Ted's Feed Store as they have such a wide selection of dog food. I also like that you can purchase bird seed in bulk. I feel their prices are competitive with other Pet Stores in the area. I have been shopping lately at their new store in Schererville. It is such a nice store. The employees will help you bring out your dog food to your car as well. It's a bit difficult turning left out on to US 41 and I wish their was an access road in the back or front of the store to the stoplight to the south. Other than the staff at the Schererville store just staring at you when you walk in without a hello, I will continue to shop here.

4stars. They have everything you need for a pet except for fish accessories. A bit different from your normal pet store but overall super happy with this spot as well. I prefer more of a bigger store w more variety. Will i be shopping for my pet here as well?defintly, the food supply is much bigger here.

I love this place! Where else can you walk into a place, go directly to the counter and the employees go get the dog food you need and load it right into the car/truck you arrived in! And it's not like I go there all the time either. I'm only there roughly 4 or 5 times a year (I stock up on 2 big bags every time I go)!

This place sells really good dog food at a great price! Way cheaper than anywhere else I've been too. You can also get free dog food samples, and they have the "get your 11th bag free" deal going on. And they occasionally have sales, so the high Illinois tax doesn't hurt as much. The employees here are nice and helpful. Definitely worth it to shop here!

I love this place! I wish I lived closer to it. I was very impressed by their selection while visiting with my foster pup for a Rescue event today. I love their available variety of raw foods, and their raw meaty bones are a perfect treat to occupy rowdy dogs. Their service is a heckuva lot more friendly then most feed stores! If they just carried mealworms and/or crickets, they'd have all the bases covered for anyone's animals' needs.
