We are in the business of pet boarding and doggie daycare because, like you, we LOVE ANIMALS! Playtime, individual interaction, special attention to health and welfare, and lots and lots of LOVE are the foundation of our guests' stay at Adam's Folly. We provide cozy accommodations in a home like atmosphere. We truly care about our guests' health and happiness and want his or her stay with us to be pleasant and comfortable. Your precious canines and felines are not stored while you are away. They are pampered.
Services
Jill, Kevin, & Haiden Jones are the owners of Adam's Folly. It has been in existence since 2003. When Adam's Folly went up for sale in 2009, the Jones family purchased it. Jill is an avid animal lover who gave up a teaching career to buy it. She and her friends have founded several animal rescue organizations such as Cat Adoption Team, Adopt an Angel, and helped create Fix A Friend Spay/Neuter Clinic.
Adam's Folly is not a traditional boarding kennel. Guests receive individualized attention, lots and lots of love and spend their time in a comfortable homey environment. Depending on your dog's personality and size he may spend the night in either a spacious indoor/outdoor run, or in one of the special suites we have for families or our older patrons.
Donations fund spay/neuter surgeries, heartworm treatments, veterinary care for sick and injured animals, gas for transport vehicles, adoption fees at local animal controls and necessary supplies such as leashes, collars, crates or carriers. We could not do this without your help. You could say that Sherry Gloer's business has gone to the dogs.

We have two great danes and last minute we needed them boarded for several days. Adams Folly Bed & Biscuit made those four days stress free! We are so grateful for the care the boys received and would recommend to anyone who needs daycare or boarding. Hopefully with better planning than us! Thank you guys!

Claims they board cats but according to them does not have the facilities for boarding them separately from dogs. Acts inconvenienced when that's what you expect even though nowhere on the website does it state that dogs and cats will be held in the same location as one another. Then informed me that I shouldn't board my cat anyway that I should get some one to watch him.
From all the wonderful reviews I was extremely taken back and disheartened. I gave them three stars because it seems great if you have pups but if you have cats better look elsewhere. I just wished I had known this before wasting my time emailing and calling them.

Absolutely the best boarding kennel I've seen. The facilities are first rate and the staff, and owner, was very impressive. The hours open for drop-off and pick-up are a bit limited but certainly adequate. This was our first visit, but not our last. I highly recommend this kennel, regardless of your dogs breed or size. And, the kennel is within reasonable access to major roadways.

Adam's Folley is the absolute best. We left Foster there when we left for a trip to see the grandkids. Unfortunately, while we were gone, Hurricane Florence came up. They had water encroaching on the kennel. What did they do? They took the dogs into their own house. These people care so much for our dogs.

Moved here 2 years ago and checked out several boarding places in the area. Settled on Adams Folly for our 2 dogs (now 3). Have used boarding places for many years and Adams is one of the best we have ever encountered. After being there a couple of times, we simply open the car door and they run to get inside. We feel our dogs are safe and happy when they're at Adams which make us feel better those times we need to leave them behind.

Left 2 dogs there recently when we went on vacation. Staff was friendly and facilities adequate. Called ahead before return to make sure dogs would be bathed before pick up (yes). Dogs looked like they may have been "rinsed" but definitely not bathed. And didn't smell clean. One dog had obvious weight loss. Both had fleas and had to be taken to a groomer for proper baths/flea dip. Won't go back

I had a great experience boarding my dog here during a beach vacation when we realized our accommodations were not pet-friendly. The facilities appeared clean, all the dogs seemed happy and playful, and my dog was her usual active self when I picked her up a couple of days later. Also, the Bed and Biscuit gives a free night for rescued dogs. That says a whole lot about why they do what they do, and it's awesome.
