I would recommend avoiding attending school here. The instructors aren't helpful and they just tell you to teach yourself with videos despite paying thousands of dollars for hands-on training. If they like you or know you already though, they'll be sure to give you extra help. They're nice to you before/immediately after taking your money but you become slowly dead to them the further along you go.
You're better off getting an apprenticeship or starting off as a bather somewhere. If you don't mind learning everything from videos, getting told dogs are basically big dollar signs to be rushed through (no matter how scared they might be) for profit, and getting treated like garbage 75% of the time, Paragon is the school for you.

Very expensive for it to be a school with students who aren't yet licensed and practicing. For the prices they charge you might as well take your dog to a professional licensed groomer. Having a couple of certified instructors with a bunch of students under them doesn't equally measure up to the cost that you would pay a professional that you can actually hold legally accountable if something is done that you're not ok with. For the prices that they charge i'll just stick with my regular groomer.

I was referred by a friend to bring my pup here. I called a couple weeks ago to bring my pup in, they had an opening that day. Dropped her off to deshed her and get her groomed. They were so sweet to my pup and did a wonderful job! Not only was my pup groomed and smelled good, but they put cute bows in her fur. When I went to check out, the cost was very affordable! It was easy to schedule her next appointment, and the staff was so professional and kind! I don't see myself bringing my fur baby anywhere else. Highly reccommend!

I had a great experience as a student at The Paragon School of Pet Grooming. The hands on experience and instructor to student ration really helped me to learn best. The dogs were lovable and fun. My favorite part was taking a dingy dog and transforming it in such a short time! I got a grooming job before I even graduated due to Paragons great reputation!

I had an awesome time at Paragon! The people and the instructors were so much fun. I did the fast track program, really enjoyed it, and learned quite a bit in a very short time. I enjoyed the fast track program so much and now wish that I had taken the Pet Stylist program. There is so much to learn and the experience was so enjoyable that I was sad to leave the school. No matter which program you choose you can learn as much as you are willing to put into it. Thanks to all the friends I made at Paragon and the great staff and instructors!
