I've gone to a few different vets over the years, but for the past 6 I've been taking our 2 large doggos here. We had a scare with one of our dogs who had ketoacidosis and almost died. The staff and vets here worked so hard to keep him alive. I'm forever grateful they saved his life and continue to take such good care of our family.

You guys are always wonderful! I really appreciate how you called after our cat Scarlett was done with surgery to let us know how it all went. We had to bring her back a couple days after surgery because she was a bit too active but you were always willing to fit her in to check her out! Thank you so much for all your care and concern!

Do not take your pets here if you expect the vets and staff to value your pet and your time. I took my cat in for 3 visits and we had ridiculous wait times, even when the place is empty. Expect to wait well over 30 minutes after your scheduled time while your poor pets wait with you. Go elsewhere.

Absolutely abysmal. I took my cat here for a small gland issue that's really common in cats. After a 20 minute wait at the first visit she was finally seen and treated. I had to schedule a follow up for two weeks after. Today I came in 15 minutes early. We were not seen on time. We were not seen for a HALF HOUR after the actual appointment time. At that point my cat had been in a carrier for over an hour. 4 other animals came in after us and LEFT BEFORE we were even seen.

The receptionist said "he is just finishing up" we waited ten minutes after that and once it was 35 minutes past our appointment time, we left. I wasn't going to keep my cat in a carrier any longer. Pathetic service. Now we are home, having not even seen a doctor for what would have been a 5min or less appointment, and my cat still gets the stress of spending an hour in a carrier. Do not put your animals through this. Horrible business. Would never recommend

Let's make a appointment in advanced and then proceed to wait an hour! Wooo so much fun! Especially for a cat that is sitting patiently in a kennel for an hour. No sense of urgency ridiculous, we get a sorry?! A sorry our cat has been in a cage for the last hour and the vet doesn't have the decency to pop out and say anything? Schedule gaps people think with your head. Do not recommend

Love that I can always schedule Izzy's nail trims with the same vet tech, Sara, as she's terrible with nail trims. Having the same person means they know her and also she feels more comfortable with the same person. Since she's tiny holding her carefully is a challenge.

The staff here are nice and professional. I always walk in there with the feeling that they are overloaded with work, but they get it done. Parking is challenging. The spaces feel too small, especially for some with a handicap, who needs to open a door wide. Overall, the place works just fine. If you have a sick cat or dog, send them to this place.

I've been taking my baby dogs here for years and they have always taken such good care of them. They are great people that care.

Zoe was well cared for and they kept me well informed throughout the process and they also checked up on her after she returned home.

Belmont Veterinary Center is an excellent place to take your furry family members. The entire staff is very friendly, courteous and knowledgable and the services they provide are top notch.

After feverishly calling vets to see who could get my sick cat in, they had an opening same day. After taking him in, I am going to make them my primary vet. The doctor answered all of my questions patiently, and they respond to my calls with detail and assurance, when my sick boy had to be hospitalized. After going to many vets over the years they are by far the most personable and don't make me feel like we are just another number that need to get in and out.

Spent lots of money to find out my dog had liver failure an they said their was nothing wrong with him an gave him medicine an said he would be fine the next day I took him to another vet an right away they said he was not gonna make it an had to put him down within 24 hours of going to Belmont they just want money. Don't not recommend them if you want people who care go to Wachal Pet Health Center.

I was doing a cross country road trip last year and my dog was bitten while staying somewhere - I was frantic to find a place to tend to his injury and 5 locals recommended here. I explained my situation and they fit me in and had Charlie in/out in less than 2 hrs even with a full schedule!

The staff is compassionate and driven by their passion to help. We brought Roscoe in after he was bitten by another dog and the staff completely exceeded my expectations. They were patient and caring. High recommended!

I preface this with the vets are wonderful, but twice I've called with concerns about my dog. Hoping to atleast get some advice or help, and the receptionist has been blunt and offputting/rude. No concerns for my pet just terrible and unprofessional service. Not worth spending money if when my dog needs help they turn you away with a "if your dog is sick we don't want her here."

Great place. They really care. I got my kitten fixed a couple weeks ago, almost 3 weeks, and about a week after he started developing a lump on his back right hip, after about 4 days of it being there, bugging him a bit, I had called, and they had told me that it's a reaction to the rabies shot, which he had gotten about 2 weeks prior to getting fixed, and they told me it should go away in a few days.

It's going on 2 weeks of it being there, he doesnt like it being looked at very much. Called them again as it had not gone away, and we worked something out so the doctors can check on it to make sure its just an allergic reaction, perhaps. They're great & flexible people. I reccomend bringing your furbabies here for good care.

Always prompt and courteous. I love this vet center. No waiting room fireplaces or waterfalls-!their focus is the good care of our pets.

I'm so glad we found Dr. MacFarland and the Belmont Vet clinic after my pup and I moved here. Their prices are a lot more competitive than other vets in the area. Specifically, the Dental Wellness package is a life-saver. Today, I brought Gracie in for two issues but I kept coming up with more questions and Dr. MacFarland was very patient and helpful. He never once tried to upsell me and was very pragmatic. Thumbs up!

Belmont has always been great at helping me take care of my dog I adopted from Capital Humane Society. Their prices are very reasonable and they are always more than willing to answer any question.

I was very impressed with the service I received at this clinic for my 7 year old cat. She had scratched her eye pretty well over night, and Belmont was able to get her in to look at within 2 hours of calling. We figured out the problem and got a care system down faster than I expected. 5 days later, we had her back in to see how her eyes was doing, and it was healing very nicely. Overall, I'm very happy with the friendly and knowledgeable staff along with the reasonable pricing on their services.

Belmont Veterinary is a great place to take your pet. My son has been taking a dog he adopted when it was 3 years old here for 2 years and they are wonderful. He takes his dog there for preventative care, sick visits & kenneling. They are caring, compassionate & knowledgeable. Recently they had to help guide my son through the decision to continue looking for a way to find out if the dogs liver was save able if there was one or say goodbye to his best buddy.

They treated the dog for 2-3 days and always kept us updated on how he was doing. They were wonderful. Sadly we said goodbye to a great dog whose life was way to short. Here at Belmont Veterinary they did not rush you through the process. They are willing to handle it anyway you want. Very professional from the front desk to the techs to the Drs.

I have been taking my three cats to the Belmont Vet Center for the past three years and they have given mycats outstanding and compassionate care. The young ladies at the reception are very enthusiastic and helpful and the vets have all been very professional with their advice and consideration. We have had nothing but good experiences. They are prompt and accurate when you call to ask for advice.

The reminder cards that come in the mail for the innoculations have been so helpful. And best of all, my three cats are so healthy and happy, due in part to the excellent service this clinic provides. If you are looking for a family atmosphere at a vet clinic and you are expecting the best care for your animals, this is the place to come. I will be moving away in the next month or so, and I hope I can find a place as good as this!

We have two cats and two dogs, so we're in and out of Belmont regularly. The staff is friendly and the vets are great, as is the customer service. Two things that set Belmont apart for us are hours and price. They're open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, and on Saturdays as well. Since both my husband and I work all day, the extended and weekend hours mean we can take the animals in without having to take off work. We're also usually able to get in for minor things within a day -- sometimes even the same day. Price-wise, I believe they're one of the most reasonable places in town, and with four pets, that's an important consideration.

Have been taking my dachshund to Belmont Vet Center since December of 2009, and she has received excellent care. The staff is very nice and patient with all of my questions, both on the phone and in person. What I like most is the veterinarian calls me back personally to explain what is going on, rather than leave the return call to somebody who may be unable to answer follow-up questions. Words can't express how much I appreciate this, it is highly professional and makes me feel on the same page with the vet as well as all of the members of the friendly staff at Belmont Vet Center.

Another nice thing is the "pet portal" they set up online for your pet. It lists all of the services your pet has received in the past, as well as reminds you about upcoming innoculations and checkups that may be due. My only complaint is the price. It is very expensive and they demand complete payment for services immediately. I wish they had some kind of a payment plan, especially when the visit is over $300.

Belmont Vet has been our family Vet since I was a kid, and my parents were taking our pets there. Now that I have my own dog, Belmont was the natural choice for me when looking for a Vet. It's been just over a year now since I started taking my dog in for his various shots and check-ups, and so far I have been impressed with their professional service and friendliness both towards me, and my dog.

From different pet owners I've talked to in Lincoln, it sounds as though Belmont is probably in the mid, to slightly upper range in their service costs. (Especially compared to people who bring their pets to the small town Vets.) Personally, I'd rather pay a little more as long as my pet is treated well, and the service is great. My advice for somebody looking for a new Vet is not to worry about taking your pet to Belmont.

We have gone to Belmont Vet Clinic for about 25 years. They do yearly checks on our dogs. We have had 3 dogs and as they aged they died and we eventually replaced them with 3 other dogs that are now 7 and 8 years old. They do yearly checks and anytime there are problems. The owner we have seen a few times, but usually see one of the other vets that work there and over time, the vets do change but we have had good care for the dogs. They also see us whenever needed. I would recommend them.
