An overdue review! I never thought I'd be sending my dog to daycare, but after getting Dottie a year ago, we quickly realized her old brother wasn't going to give her the attention she needed while we work. We've been dropping Dottie to Woof for daycare and boarding her during trips for about 9 months now and WONDERFUL is an understatement.
Everyone is communicative, friendly and upbeat. She comes home wiped out after so much play time. Best of all - the staff really loves her and I always know she's getting all the love and affection she needs!

Our pup Daisy absolutely loves coming here, and everyone we've interacted with is so friendly and caring. Daisy was a nervous pup when we first got her & was initially hesitant to go in for daycare. Since her first visit, she runs right in! Plus, they send great pictures of her and her buddies throughout the day :

I had to wait over one month for my dog to get an interview for day care. I would also like to add confirming the dates for this was a nightmare- it took multiple phone calls to hammer out specifics. The day finally arrives and within 30 minutes of dropping her off for an 'interview' I get a call saying my dog is nipping and aggressively attacking other dogs.
When I asked the manager to walk me through it, he struggled. There were loopholes in his story and he was defensive. When I asked for video documentation, there was none to be found. 1) My dog is a designated S&R partner with FEMA who has gone through extensive training via air, train, boat, car and bus. There is a lengthy screening process for canines who have the ability to provide S&R and can assure you, any dog who shows aggression and or nipping would not make it through the application process. 2) There was a no question approach.
The entire discussion was management talking about them, what services they provide, their facility, their people, them them them! While the managers continued to talk over me, they completely failed to address the supposed 'issue'. I am disappointed by this experience but not the least bit surprised. The icing on the cake was the manager who verbally mocked me and other canine owners who crate their dogs.
What can I say? Dogs are den creatures & you're an idiot. I will end with this: my dog is extremely well trained; she potties on command, walks through hospitals without stepping on equipment wires and reads non verbal commands. I constantly have owners & parents complimenting her. They always acknowledge how well trained she is and ask for my support to train their own dogs.
I am looking forward to sharing my experience at WOOF! with these people. Would give 0 zero if I could. I am genuinely excited to see the reply on this one. I would like to add, as I entered the facility, there was a some sort of doodle mix who without approval, jumped up into a chair and refused to get down when told. If that's the clientele they are after, they can keep it.

My dogs have been going for 6 months now. THEY LOVE IT! My one dog is very attached to me (usually) but when I pull up to drop them off, she is the first one out of the car and has no problem leaving my side. She loves it, my smaller dog loves it. The pics in the middle of the day are a great touch. I have not experienced "grouchy" staff come to get my dogs from the car. I love this place!

We brought our 2 dogs to Woof for a visit. One is a 6 month old puppy and the other is a 10 year old. This was the first time leaving our puppy at a daycare. When we picked them up, they were both supper happy, calm and content! The puppy came home and slept the rest of the evening. We feel like Woof is a safe place for our dogs and we plan to use them in the future for occasional daycare and for boarding when we travel!

This is the second generation of pups that I've brought to Dogs Love Woof for socializing and burning off crazy puppy energy The staff at Dogs Love Woof are excellent. I feel very comfortable leaving my puppy, Sofie in their care and Sofie loves going to Woof. She gets super excited when I pull up for drop off. Thank you excellent staff!

We just got our dog back from Woof and her eye was badly injured. The vet let us know it was likely from another dog scratching her eyeball while she was kenneled. I wish they had let us know what happened instead of letting our dog suffer. She could hardly see and was crying in pain. I'm not sure if they are even watching the dogs here? How could you not notice her injury?

After adopting my new best friend, Buddy (French Bulldog puppy), I knew that I had to secure a doggy day care quickly around my work in San Ramon. As a working professional, I wanted to start off on the right *paw* and give Buddy a great start in puppyhood. After a little research, I found WOOF. When I first contacted WOOF, Jonathan Pass (owner) was very helpful and responsive in walking me through all the requirements.
Upon Buddy getting all of his vaccinations, he immediately took to having the time of his life (as evidenced by all the cute pics/videos the staff sent me!). I'm a new customer and here is what I love about WOOF: - My puppy is exhausted every single time I pick him up which is wonderful considering I'm usually exhausted myself after work. - My puppy is well-socialized when I take him out for walks and social settings. - Great communication with staff via cell phone (e.g. "Buddy's making some new friends!" accompanied with pictures and video). - Morning valet (i.e. park right out in front and they grab Buddy through the window!) - Staff is young, energetic, accommodating, and super-friendly. - Very reasonably priced compared to other options in the area. Given my positive experience already, I'll likely utilize some of their other services!

I have had foster dogs there for daycare. There is nothing better than picking up a tired dog to take home. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner Jonathan. They are very supportive of community animal rescue groups. Recently Woof held a holiday fundraising event that raised a nice donation for a local animal rescue group. Thank you WOOF!

I love WOOF! I brought my dog Rocky there for the first time a few weeks ago and he absolutely loved it! The staff are friendly and great with the dogs. They also sent me a picture of Rocky during the day as he was playing with friends. Rocky is only a year old so it's perfect for him to socialize and play with other dogs his size. Thank you WOOF!

Woof is great! We've used them for dog boarding and our dog was happy the whole time. It's a little bit pricier than some other places In the area but worth it. The staff is super nice here and really cares about your pet. Our dog got a bite a couple days before his boarding and we had to send him with medication. They were able to give his to him twice a day and providers updates to us about his status. It's open group play part of the day.
The boarding dogs and daycare dogs are separated during the week. You have to do an "interview" before your dog can stay to make sure it's the right environment for them. Great experience overall!

This place is great! First time trying out any kind of daycare, and I was especially nervous for my new puppy to be around people, and an environment he is not familiar with (I didn't want my guy to be the bad kid in school), but I was totally put at ease! The owner met me at the door, and was already expecting my pup; he even called him by his name!
He reviewed how the day care works, and took the time to give me a short tour so I knew where my pup would be all day. They were also very accommodating when I advised them that I brought his own treats, due to my dog's sensitivity to grain and chicken. I was able to meet one of the handlers as well, and she was so sweet with my guy, he didn't even look back when they took him to play!
Throughout the day I received text updates on how he was doing during his evaluation, which also helped ease my nerves because I wanted to make sure he was successful not just the handlers, but other dogs too. When I went to pick him up, multiple employees came out with him to say goodbye, and give me a review of his day. Coming here was an awesome experience! I would def recommend, and plan on bringing my pup again :)

Charlie. my six-month-old Border Collie puppy has a blast when she visit WOOF. She can't wait to get out of the car to play with her friends. Recently she spent the night. I was a little nervous, as it was my first night away from her since I got her, but she did great! I highly recommend for both daycare and boarding.

This kennel is wonderful. We use them for boarding & daycare. Our 3yr old Little Coton de Tulear is always so happy to be dropped off there. She has so much fun with the dog handlers & other dogs. They also send pictures while we are away. It is so comforting knowing our fur baby is happy & safe while we are out of town.

My dog has been at Woof's daycare for almost five years! My dog is like family and I appreciate all the love and attention she gets from the staff. But more importantly the facility is super clean and well managed. They treat me like family too! They've accommodated me when I've been in a bind more than once. I feel good knowing that my dog is well taken care of! Thank you Woof!

I would like to thank the staff at woof! My wife and I recently moved to the area, and chose woof based on reviews and proximity. The sign up process was easy and the follow up phone calls were friendly and conveyed a professional level of attention and service. Once we booked our dog into the daycare, they were great. They updated us with photos and text messages that were unexpected but awesome to see how she was progressing. I will definitely use the services again!

The team at Woof really loves dogs and it shows! We have been boarding our dog at Woof for short term stays for several years. Our dog used to hate going--and would be desperate to get out.but she doesn't put up a fight about it (as much) and she knows she'll get lots of cuddles by caring humans. The Woof staff are very helpful, friendly, patient, and flexible.
They have made some upgrades to their on line reservation and check-in to help streamline the process. I only wish they had some outdoor space to let the dogs run around a bit--but the dogs (big and small) all seem comfortable and healthy. I highly recommend them.

We have two golden retrievers and only feel comfortable entrusting them to the care of WOOF. They have a wonderful set up and take great care of the dogs. I can tell the dogs enjoy themselves because at the drop off they can't wait to come in and join the other dogs for group play. I have always found the staff to be very responsible and the facilities clean and welcoming.

Update - After private conversations with the owner she continues to be oblivious of my concerns. It boils down to the fact my dog was on site being observed by her handlers for over two hours after she was injured. In that timeframe no one observed her injuries which is very concerning because it was injuries to her nose and muzzle. The owner's response explained the why it occurred but stopped short of accepting full responsibility.
I left all the conversations with the message that incidents like these will occur and her staff cannot guarantee my dog safety. In the end I do not trust this facility with my dog because as any dog parent knows it's hard when your family member comes back injured. It's heartbreaking when the people you've trusted to keep them safe were oblivious to those injuries.
