My dogs love Pyrenees Pets! They always come out clean and happy : we've been coming to this place for the last 7 years and the owners are always accommodating to our requests. They get busy so make sure you have an ample time to schedule for your next pet's appointment!

Don't take your pets here if you don't want them abused! And the front lady who is the owner is so rude! They just want your money and they don't care for the pets!

This place was recommended by several people and I don't know why. The women at the front desk are blatantly rude. Almost comically rude. I came in with my mini Aussie. I booked a grooming appointment, showed a picture, and told them several times I wanted her "trimmed" -- just trimmed. If you are a dog groomer, you should know what to do with an Aussie when someone says trim.

They used clippers buzzing her down and completely destroying her undercoat. When I said she was too short and I wanted a trim, as I expressed many times before leaving, they said I should have then just asked for a "bath" because a "groom" inherently means they're going to use "clippers." Makes zero sense. And if that's the case, then they should have made that clear upon drop off when I showed a picture of how I wanted her to look. I couldn't have been more clear that I didn't want my dog shaved and that's exactly what they did. Oh, and then they charged $90 for the uneven hack job.

PP's does a fabulous job grooming our dog. But their front desk service is rude, blunt and insensitive. Reminder phone calls come across as directive and borderline threatening. I showed up during the holidays with a box of chocolates. They front desk person took them, said nothing and literally threw them across the desk to the side. At first I thought I did something wrong so I waited to see how others were treated.

About half were treated similarly. Hmmmm. That's not a passing grade. Maybe since this is this way since it's the only one in Blackhawk. Seeking another service asap!

Amazing! Everyone thinks their dog is the cutest, but mine really is thanks to Pyrenees Pets! We've had our little Yorkie for two years and have been to 3 different groomers. My kids would beg me not to take her because she would come home looking a bit like a rat. I tried Pyrenees's Pets today for the first time and Casey looks exactly like the photo I gave them to show how I wanted her hair cut. I am so happy that we have finally found a place to take her!

Best haircut ever! They did it super quickly, in and out in an hour. Very reasonable prices. We will be returning customers - we're so glad we found a groomer we love!

I just moved back to the area and was looking for a place to take my huskies for regular grooming. So happy to have found Pyrenees Pets. They did a great dog on my pups.

We just took our pup here for a nail trim and groom. The staff was professional and did a great job. They even gave us a cute bandana and cupcake for our pup's upcoming birthday. We also loved the assortment of treats and toys. We will definitely come back.

Best store ever! Owners are fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Love the store atmosphere!

I'd give this store zero stars if I could. They treat the animals poorly. Last time I went in to the store I witnessed a groomer hitting and threatening a dog with a brush. I am disgusted and appalled. The owner did nothing to stop this behavior and insisted that it wasn't an issue. Do not trust these people with your pets.

I just took my pup to Pyrenees Pets and they did such a wonderful job! The store is filled with tons of great things to buy for your pup while waiting and even has a table of treats to buy so you can reward your dog after their grooming! I received excellent customer service and my dog came out looking great! It's not the closest option for a groomer but it's definitely worth the drive!

I took my dog here because he had just been sprayed by a skunk. After bringing him home, I noticed he had trouble opening his left eye and there was some discharge coming out of it. I have gotten my dog groomed (at other places) countless times and this has never happened. I ended up having to take him to the vet that night because he could simply not open his eye.

They prescribed him ointment for his irritated eye; the vet speculated that whoever groomed him must have gotten soap in his eye. Not only that, but they trimmed my dog's genital region. No other grooming salon I have taken him to has ever done this; they need the hair there to protect them. If you care about the well-being of your dog, please do not take them here.

I love this little shop. They do a good job grooming my pups, and they always give them a treat when we're leaving. Previous groomers I've been to kept my dogs all day, and I really like how they give you an appointment and then you can pick your pet up in 1.5-2 hours. They charge $65 for a grooming. My dogs always look adorable, but sometimes it's a little inconsistent.

I think I need to figure out which groomer I like the best and only make appointments with that person. I love that it's a little local shop, and they also sell food, treats, harnesses, beds.you name it. Because of this, they're able to still be open for grooming during shelter in place. Almost all my friends and moly go here now, and we're all happy.

The owners are nice, the staff is pleasant and the prices aren't expensive. I bring my dog Sadie in to clip her nails and it's always quick and easy. My dog is a little scared since she was abused before I found her on the side of the rd and she has no problem with their staff. They also have the best treats and items for your pets.

A great, locally-owned/operated pet store and groomer. CoCo has been getting groomed for many years.always satisfied!

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. The woman at the counter could not have been more rude when interacting with me. She did not greet me when I walked into the store, even though I had to walk 15 feet to get to the checkout desk. In addition, when she called me to inform me my dog was ready for pickup, she did not identify herself, nor did she confirm who she was speaking. She simply barked "(Dog's name) is ready"

Easy drop off, authentic people employed with caring energy towards the animals. My brown dog was bright white upon picking him up. Price is right too!

Friendly staff who all do a great job grooming my pup! Also sells a variety of unique product for our dogs. So happy to have this shop in my hood!

I have brought my dogs to Prynees Pets for almost 10 years. They do a fantastic job and I would recommend them without hesitation.

Toured the shop and groom area and had my Maltipoo groomed. They did a nice job and have a couple groomers always busy, so it's a professional no nonsense in and out convenient stop, but they do use crates for the doggies.

We had our pup groomed today at pyranees pets. He is a golden retriever mix with a lot of fur and they did an awesome job making his fur shorter but he still looks like himself. They were also able to cut his nails which other groomers have told us is impossible. We will definitely bring him back. Love the festive bandana!

My cat is easily traumatized. She seemed to be very happy when I came to pick her up.

I can not say enough good things about the grooming here! We had a disaster haircut at another Danville groomer- while this place is $25 more than the other groomer they are just AMAZING with my imperial shihtzu! Can NOT compare!

Awesome owners and employees whose work shows they really love grooming your dogs and cats.

My appointment was made with Franciso. My dog was cut inconsistently with clipper marks all over my dog I said something the lady at the counter. She did offer to have my dog recut after she also saw the poor job that was done but my dog had already been there for several hours and I had already had appointments scheduled for rest the day so I was in able to do so.

When I got home I noticed that my dogs ears had not been cleaned out he had a dirty water smell as if he was only cut and wipe down with a dirty cloth, he still had sleep in his eyes. There is no way that he was actually washed. The amount I paid $75, a small lesson to have to pay to learn not to ever go back there again or refer them to anyone. I had heard that a lady there is very good I originally had my appointment with her but there was some confusion and it was canceled and I was given Francisco and her replacement.

I can only speak for the Dog Groomer that I had. I had thought about returning and having the lady cut my dog but the experience was just so disappointing I did not want to have it happen again.
