For millions of years dogs have cleaned up the remains of other animal's bodies, including the bones. This ability remains with modern dogs that easily and joyfully tackle bones. A dog's whole system is designed for and, in fact, need bones to function properly. Bones are living tissue composed of living cells.
One of the first things you will notice about dogs being fed the BARF Diet is better quality of life! Living Enzymes are proteins found in raw foods which help the body function. Enzymes are only beneficial to the body if they are living. Once food is cooked or processed, it no longer contains living enzymes.
When I wrote "Give Your Dog a Bone", I was highly suspicious of grains as dog food, having observed that where grain is fed to dogs (not necessarily as commercial dog food - but even as 'healthy' whole grain human type foods) there is a high correlation with a range of degenerative diseases including arthritis, pancreatic disease and even cancer.
On that basis it is hard to believe that dedicated animal healers - veterinary surgeons - will recommend commercial pet food. I find this hard to believe because as a practicing veterinary surgeon, I constantly see the enormous difference in health between pets raised on commercial pet food compared to those raised on a biologically appropriate raw food diet.

I love BARF World for my dog Scrappy, he has never been happier. He is a 9 year old mini schnauzer. Schnauzers have very delicate digestive systems and he has been so healthy since we switched. His coat is so soft, and he no longer licks himself raw. He loves BARF world. 10/10 recommend. BARF World was recommended to me by a veterinarian who specializes in homeopathy medicine, I'm so glad I trusted her advice and made the switch. Since changing Jager our 3.5 year old GSD's diet from kibble to raw I have noticed a tremendous difference in his overall health. He is a very healthy dog to begin with but as many GSD owners know digestion can be an issue. Barf World food has been a God send! His vomiting has stopped, his stools are now less and actually look how its supposed to look. LOL.
His coat is silky smooth. The redness in his eyes is gone and his ears no longer bother him. We are still dealing with some scratching but he has only been on his raw diet for 2 weeks. So I'm giving that time. If I could give Barf World 100 stars I would!. Thank you for making our puppy healthier

For five years our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella, has suffered from abnormal ph levels and crystals in her urine. Our vet had tried several different treatments but could not resolve her issue. We switched her diet to BARF Juicy Chicken and in four weeks her ph is normal and there are no more crystals in her urine. Yea BARF!

Weird, my review seems to have disappeared. I think it's not normal to be selling product out of someone's house in a residential area and that they really need a business location. They say it's a home office, but the girl working there said doesn't live there. I prefer to support businesses that are ethical and that support my community by paying proper taxes and not skirting zoning ordinances. If you're willing to do that, what other quality corners are you cutting? I would be HIGHLY skeptical of the safety if they have no issues flaunting local ordinances.

I have 2 rescues and they love the food. They are happy and healthy. My 10 year old senior acts like a puppy. As a new raw feeder it was difficult for me to transition my dogs to a new diet. I was a bit nervous at first because I have 2 young children and was concerned about contamination. The customer service is by far the best I have ever experienced. Their pet food coaches were able to address all of my concerns and walked me through the transition to a raw food diet.

I have been feeding my pack 100% raw since my last Lab died of cancer in 2014. Even though he was always fed a high quality diet (Blue Buf, Wysong, Fromm Family, etc) which included canned and fresh fruits and veggies, I lost he and his buddy within a year to cancer - and suspected food might have something to do with it. I have bounced around between making my own food for my present pack and several different online purveyors of raw.
No matter how you do it, no doubt raw feeding is expensive - but not more so than ultra premium kibble and canned! What has tied me to BARF World is the staff. They are absolutely the best at customer care I have ever dealt with! Genuine, caring, empathetic, efficient and simply nice people who make your life SO much easier with everything they do.
I can't vouch personally for the food (!) but my current two labs love it and would eat second helpings if I would allow them. And they love the little surprise treat packages that appear now and again. As do I. This is a company that you WANT to do business with - they are spot on with a premium product and incredible customer care.

5 on the food! Nuggets great! Packaging, not so grand in the reseal, I have made several complaints. No way can you reseal and reopen. What really disappoints me is loosing Al, where in the heck did he go? He went on vacation and then just GONE. No word where or why, this bothers me. For one it seems very aburpt, which makes me wonder why, secondly, I could ALWAYS count on him and really miss his expertize!

My golden retriever loves Barfworld raw dog food. He started to eat Barfworld frozen chichen patties, since he was a puppy. now he is almost 9 years old. He is healthy and strong. Everyday, he is waiting for me to come home to feed him his favorite meal - his raw chicken patties. We love him like our own child and hope to have him around for many more years.

I am so happy that my friend told me about feeding a raw diet. I used to feed a high-quality kibble and thought I was doing the best for my Shih tzu. Little did I know that the digestive issues she was having were because she was lacking nutrition. I had no idea that a raw dog food could benefit a dog's digestive system and overall health. No more driving down to the pet store because they deliver right to my door! I definitely recommend giving BARF World a call!
