Awesome staff, reasonable rates, very clean, overall great experience for both people and pups. Heather is an excellent Groomer and an ever better Human.

My dog has been going to Shel-Ray Pet Shalet for almost 4 years! She is a nervous cattle dog! She comes home happy and content I love their daily reports upon urine stools and eating! They also give a behavior report which I find helpful! They take the out for potty etc She stays in the VIP suite! I pay for a package deal of play time nature walk and pamper time!

My dog loves her outdoor activities! Both Saras are so nice! I check in everyday when I'm away. I recommend Heather O as a groomer! She works at the pets pace! It's like a vacation away for Nadia when I'm away! She also stayed their during a serious surgery time and it helped keep me from stressing about Nadia's care also! Thank you for always being there!

They do a great job of taking care of my pupper! She always looks so pretty when she leaves.

Terrible doggie daycare. First day our dog went to Shel-Ray she came home with her paw pads ripped open due to excessive running on concrete. She loves to run and it's hard to control animals and where they play. Therefore we gave Shel-Ray another chance. Second day seemed to go well until about 9 days later she starts to cough. The next day it's noticeably worse.

Call Shel-Ray just to be told they've had an issue with kennel cough for about a month now! Why was this not communicated when scheduled to bring the dog to daycare for the day?! Obviously we made a vet appointment and got her medicine. The blatant miss care of and for our dog(and I'm sure others) is absolutely mind boggling.

I wish i had listened to the reviews on this place before i took my chorkie in for day care. The staff was rude and completely bothered by our presence. When i picked my dog up i could hear him fussing in the back room with another dog. Of course you cant go behind the door to see, (it's employees only), but i can tell you what my dog sounds like when it's fearful.

They didn't even know that he is a male not a "she or a "her". I carried him out and put him in the car, when i got home he was limping and can't hardly walk. In 3 hours time they completely changed his sweet personality, now he is cowering and hurt.

The five star reviews must be personal friends and family of staff. Groomers are great but unfortunately the face of the business is the front staff which is consistently unfriendly and stand-offish. I have play dates pre-paid and I'm sure the rude staff won't refund, but I will try. If not, don't care. Keep the money - my poor pup won't be returning and I don't need to deal with the unfriendliness anymore. Asked questions today about my friendly dogs "bullying" review and Sarah ignored my questions even though she heard me.

Couldn't have been more rude. Guarantee you will experience the same cold mannerisms. Save yourself the frustrations and take your beloved pet to somewhere better. If they treat their customers like that in open can't imagine how they are to pets.

My dogs love to Shel-Ray. They do a great job and I have no worries when my pups are there. They come home happy and healthy.

We are new to the area and we can't speak highly enough of the staff at Shel-Ray. Our pup is one year now and she always comes home so happy from day care, grooming and boarding. It is amazing how well she is groomed! We have also taken advantage of two rounds of training classes at Shel-Ray. It is a great, loving and wonderful staff. It is almost like the staff loves our pup as much as we do. Thank you so much for your hard work!

Our dog always has a great time when she stays here. She's a loving pit bull mix who doesn't do well with other dogs, but Shel-Ray is great at accommodating her with private play and cuddle time. On our last visit we were worried we had signed her up for group playtime instead of solo time and Shel-Ray responded to our email quickly letting us know she was indeed signed up for the right options. It put us at ease so we could enjoy our trip.

Had taken my dog candy to them in the early to mid 2000's all was very well she was wagging her tail before she saw me so I know she had a good time and was happy with shelray I recently took my little yorkie peanut to stay for two days other then an error in the billing which was quickly resolved and either forgetting to brush her after her bath or brushed when completely dry but over all was great she too came out with wagging tail before seeing me i give five stars for the great care of my dogs and for the quick resolve of error

Shel Ray does a great job with our dog. Never an issues. The staff is courteous and helpful.

When I brought my labradoodle in for grooming I spoke with the groomer directly as to what was to be done. I told her several times that I did NOT want her to look like a poodle and that I wanted her to be the same length everywhere. When I picked up my dog, she had poofy ears, snout and tail. I was not happy but all the groomers had gone for the day so I had to come back the following day to get it corrected.

Upon returning the next day, all of the staff was VERY irritated with me. They did a bit of trimming on the tail but I had to do the ears myself when I got home. This place used to be good but has completely gone down hill. I had tipped the groomer (before seeing my dog) and the entire thing cost $104.00 (including $20 tip). I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR GAS! They should have refunded me the tip money and then some but they did not!

My dog was there twice, unfortunately. I should have paid attention the first time I picked him up in the afternoon and he had to urinate like he does in the morning after a long night. It wouldn't wait for later, he just couldn't hold it. When I arrived while waiting for a front desk person, a lady middle age perhaps came through a door.

The woman looked like she would rather be anywhere else, made no eye contact, and pushed through another door.saying nothing to me. She had previously been in the yard doing something with other dogs. She was clearly involved with daily activities. This time my friend picked him up and he couldn't make it to the car again. He got 15 minutes into the trip home and she had to stop at a park so he could poop.

I got him from my friend 30 minutes later and he pooped again. He also had a pretty good chunk of his upper lip scuffed off. My friend said he had no problem jumping into her car so she wasn't sure what happened. She told me he looked distressed when she picked him up and had a bad vibe about the place. I know, I know, "weird look" "bad vibe" but that's how she felt and so did I. Take a pass on this place, follow intuition. Good luck with your babies:-
