Mckee's Pet Place

I've been taking my dog here for the past month and he LOVES it! They have an outdoor and indoor area for play, which I really like. The staff are friendly and my fur friend wags his tail SO much every time we pull up to McKee's. Every time we go home? Tired but happy with life :

Such a caring staff! They take really great care of my little girl. She enjoys the heated pool, heated floors in the indoor playroom and of of course playing with sweet puppies and staff! I am grateful for this place and happy I found such a wonderful daycare! My puppy loves coming here!

Mckee's is great! Our Aussie is treated with love by the staff! He is always excited to go to daycare here, and constantly gets the attention he needs! Communication from the staff is par, if they need something, or they're worried about anything they will call you. And they will always help you out when you have questions. Hours are great though I wished they opened at 6:30am.

We go to Dallas twice a year and our yellow lab goes to daycare while we are there. We have been going there for at least 6 years and they take awesome care of our dog.

The staff is so sweet. My little doggy had eaten all his chicken while he was boarding with McKees. They called me and offered to go to the store and cook more chicken for my Mr. Scotti. Talk about above and beyond with our pets, these folks are magnificent. Love y'all

If you are looking for the best daycare/boarding in Frisco, this is it! I got Macey as a puppy during Covid. Working from home with a hyper puppy, I needed a daycare so she could get some playtime in and learn social skills being around other dogs and people. I tried several of the local daycares and none of them compared to McKee's. The staff know all of the dogs by name, play with and love on the pups. Macey will literally jump out of my arms to go to Miss Gabrielle who works at the front desk. Gabrielle, Alyssa and the other staff are always so nice, helpful and love all of their McKee's pup family. Also, as a small business owner myself, I love supporting another local, small business.

It's always nerve-wracking taking your pet to a new and unknown vet or animal place of any sort (For the real pet parents out there). I needed to keep my sweet kitty somewhere while I stayed with family that's severely allergic, so we found McKee's for a few day kitty day care. The place was pretty clean and straightforward. They were super nice and it seemed that they took pretty good care of my cat. Plus, the price was really reasonable, so despite my uneasiness, it worked out pretty well. This is a good option if you need some boarding for a pet!

Have boarded 2 dogs here several times and its always a great experience. I'm boarding again soon and willing to drive across town to use them. Especially since the place near me wouldn't even answer the phone after many tries. McKees is awesome.

My boys love going here. We take our 2 dogs here for boarding and for play. If they don't go once a week my dogs really get sad. They staff are so great and really go above and beyond when it comes to customer service.

My 90lb pittbull loves this place, they've always treated her like one of their own. I highly recommend this place and they have a big outdoor pool for them to cool off and play in as well as a huge outdoor space to run. My girl is half-blind and does well in the environment, their staff is loving and attentive. Indigo says THANK YOU!

I've been taking my bull terrier here for five years now. Not every stay is perfect, but for the most part they do a great job keeping my dog happy and entertained. It's clear that they care about their residents LOL and love playing with them. Very friendly staff and clean environment. I recommend getting your dog the suite, as it comes with a nice pillow top and glass front door.

I love walking my dog around the complex and seeing all the dogs have a blast in the outdoor play area, which is quite big. I only wish their hours of operation on Sunday was a little bit longer, as flight delays occur regularly.

This place is an open facility. meaning you can see everywhere! Its ran very professional and with love for each animal individually! You will love this place! Tell them Eric sent you!

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! Apparently, after a year of my dogs going there, one of my dogs is now all of a sudden "banned" from daycare. NO COMMUNICATION whatsoever that my dog was needing to be "worked with." SPENT MOST OF THE TIME IN TIME OUT without ever telling me there was an ongoing issue. Upon pick up I was told that my dog had been in time out within 5 minutes of getting there.

I drop my dog off at 730 in the morning and they did not call until 430. So my dog spent his whole day in time out and you couldn't call before then? All I got from the staff was "someone should have told you before." Not helpful at all. What a joke. Just wanting to take your money. Do not have your pets best interest in mind at all. I felt horrible for my dog. He drank four bowls of water when we got home and urinated for 3 minutes straight. I absolutely do NOT recommend McKee's.

I can not recommend this place and their wonderful staff enough! We have boarded our puppies here several times, and had wonderful service each time! One of our dogs has lots of allergies and on medications for them. The staff is kind, makes sure she is comfortable, and gives us updates on how she is doing. Our dogs always walk right in, not nervous to go back with the staff. When we pick them up, the will jump up on the staff to get one last pet before we leave. Wonderful place to leave your fur babies!

We loved having our pets stay here! The staff was incredible, loving and patient with all our pets. We had 2 dogs and our cat stay here for an extended amount of time. One of our dogs is older and needs a lot of extra TLC. They were very attentive and took great care of them all. I will definitely come back the next time we need any type of boarding. Additionally we had them groomed during their stay and they did a great job! Our dogs especially have A LOT of hair and are not easy to groom. Thank You!

We take our dog to daycare one to two times a week for the past year and we love McKee's. A lot of places don't take my dog's breed but they happily do. The staff are so sweet to my dog and are always attentive to her. Best doggy daycare there is!

We love McKee's- one of our dogs goes to daycare a day or two a week and we board both dogs here from time to time. The staff is always super nice and greets our dog by name (Lucy). Plus our dog comes home nice and tired from playing hard. They even have a pool to play in.

I was using McKees for daycare services until a couple weeks ago. I got a call from one of the staff that there had been an incident with my English Bulldog and another dog. My dog was left with a nasty deep cut in her left ear (pic attached). I was told that my bully was sitting by the gate area where dogs enter/exit and had got "caught" in the rush of dogs to the door.

Staff wrote it off as minor and no big deal. I spoke to the manager Kim who was not helpful at all.said there is nothing that could have been done to prevent the injury. So she basically told me dogs will get hurt at her facility. I was upset, however, because in 3 years of taking my dog to multiple daycare centers she had never taken an injury like this.

She is a super calm dog and never has gotten aggressive with any dog and vice versa. Because of this incident I find her a lot more nervous around other dogs.borderline aggressive. Will have to do some retraining to get her right. I don't trust McKees staff as it was either a supervision issue or just too many dogs period to ensure safety. Beware when taking your dog here

Granted I was going to be a few minutes late past check in to get my dog there, I called at 6:29, talked to a lady that said come on if you can be here in 10 min. I show up and no one is there. Not good service!

My dog Harley loves it here! He went every week when he was a puppy. We've moved from Frisco but we love McKee's so much we make a trip to take him when we can!

Great service and friendly staff. I have a huge golden named Buster and he loves this place. I think if he could live there he would. He loves the grooming and doesn't mind being boarded there either. The staff love him too. No wonder he doesn't ever want to leave. I have been highly satisfied in the care and attention he gets. They are the best I've found and I've been using them for the past 5 years. BTW whenever you board your dog anywhere make sure your dogs Bordetella vaccination is up-to-date that's kennel cough for dogs. This vaccination should be done every six months. Not having this important vaccination your dog is always susceptible to kennel cough no matter where they are boarded.

Ca$h & Bella are an active GSP breed & need lots of interaction when Mom & Dad go out of town. McKee's is very clean, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of our breed and treat Ca$h & Bella like we do.our babies! Their amenities are outstanding with various kennel runs, lots of outdoor play space, a shaded doggie pool, and indoor play room. We've never had an incident & will continue to bring Ca$h & Bella to McKee's!

Don't listen to Tia R. She's an idiot and a negative picky one to boot. Just read her tips and reviews. I occasionally work in Frisco which is how I found this place. For years I've dropped my dogs off for doggie day care b/c they have a big yard and pool for my lab as well as a separate room and yard for my little squirrel dog. I've also boarded both here for multiple nights with zero hesitation. The mgmt staff is great, the prices are fair and I like their sweater selection they have for my little dog during the holidays.
