North Colony Animal Clinic always welcome new clients and patients to our full service veterinary clinic. We know you will be very happy with our services. Please call and schedule and appointment prior to your arrival. Scheduling an appointment will allow us to prepare for you arrival and will help reduce waiting times. Expect to see a veterinary technician first who will gather your pets medical history. You will then be seen by one of our 4 veterinarians on staff who will examine your pet and answer any questions.
Services
We are a well-established, full-service, small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures both through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local specialty practices when additional diagnostic procedures are required.
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination, heartworm testing, intestinal parasite testing, and vaccinations. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. For your convenience, drop-off' appointments are available.

This vet office & Dr. Kathleen Bowe are phenomenal! They have done more for our baby girl in the few months we have been seeing them than our last vet did in the few years we were there. The communication is amazing, taking the time to explain everything to you and giving you the opportunity to ask as many questions before you leave the office or get off the phone. My husband & I are so grateful we found North Colony Animal Clinic as our forever home to care for our fur child!

TLDR: North Colony Animal Clinic saved my dog, and they did so without us even being clients, AFTER our vet turned us away in an emergency. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In 2013ish, my cat knocked my dogs meds off the counter and my dog chewed through the bottle. She ate 14 rimadyl pills. This was an emergency situation.
We were Banfield members at the time (ugh) and I called every Banfield in the area. This was at about 2pm on a Thursday. Every. Single. One. Said they were full and couldn't take her. They suggested going to the E clinic which didn't even open for several hours. So I called the vet closest to me, North Colony Animal Clinic. They'd never met my dog.
They had no history or reason to make room for us in the schedule. But they didn't hesitate. They said bring her in right now. They ended up giving her charcoal and keeping her overnight for observation. Her blood work was a bit wonky for a few days but she made it out unscathed. We've been loyal clients with our dog and four cats ever since.

There are not enough words to describe the goodness of these two veterinarians who have helped my goldendoodle in just one week. Dr. Bowe and his son have been nothing short of amazing! They are the kindest, most compassionate, knowledgeable, humble and extraordinary doctors I have ever encountered. I've had many, many dogs and many, many veterinarians in different states and I promise that the two Dr. Bowes are in a class of their very own.
We moved to The Colony six months ago and the people we bought our house from recommended their vet. It was a Banfield Clinic and to be fair, the vet they recommended had retired two weeks before we made our appointment. We read the reviews of the other vet and they were good. Suffice it to say though that we were unimpressed and horrified with their incompetence.
I searched for days before choosing The North Colony Veterinary Animal Clinic. When I explained our situation, they took me in immediately and have restored my faith in humankind. Their staff is just as kind and attentive as the doctors. They say that if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't. That is definitely not the case here. These people are what God had in mind when he made veterinarians. They are angels to our furry children and their owners! We are elated to find them.

We moved here a little over two years ago and chose this vet based on proximity and reviews. We have seen all four veterinarians here and each have shown our two dogs such attention and care. Although I know they are busy, I always feel like they are willing to spend as much time as I need to make me feel assured everything has been addressed (and then some).
Their response time is AMAZING - if you leave a message, you will always hear back within a few hours at most. The receptionists are also very helpful and friendly. Every visit comes with a complimentary nail trim which is always nice. I highly recommend using this veterinary office!

I spent one month and a half waiting for a spot to groom my dog, it was my understanding that North Colony Clinic was a trustworthy grooming business. On June 11, we finally got our appointment at 8:30 AM, our request was to style her hair in a way that she would not sweep the floor with it. I explained to them that we did not want short hair, again, we wanted her hair styled but not sweeping the floor.
At 2:30 PM the same day we went to pick her up. To our SURPRISE our seven-month-old Maltese was almost bald, her ears were chopped, and her tail was bothering her. The dog was anxious when we got there, and her behavior was somehow depressed and stress out. At that moment I expressed to the front desk lady my disappointment with the haircut, honestly, we were IN SHOCK!
We couldn't convey any words. The front desk lady suggested to talk to the technician, but she was in a meeting, so we left a voice message. Friday June 12, I contacted them and request to have an appointment with the manager. The manager was unavailable, and I left another message. I have tried to talk with the administration and or the technician several times, but no one reached out to me.
After several research, I am aware that what they did to my dog was not professional and they did not honor the behavioral well-being of the dog. Since that day, she does not want to go on walks and has become traumatized and self-aware of her lack of hair, she fears everything, her behavior is different.
