Just got our new K&H outdoor pet "cat" house from Walmart. It was easy to assemble, pretty green in color and tested by our indoor cat. The house will go outside for an outdoor cat that I share with a neighbor. As a feral cat, he doesn't like to be in the house but with the cold weather approaching, this house will keep him warn and dry when it snows. My only suggestion would be to have a longer cord as this cord is only 4 feet long. Perhaps you can make an option with a longer cord. Great choice, reasonably priced.

The heated water bowls have a short possibly in them and shock my animals. Contacted K&H but they refused to refund me or to allow me to send it back to be checked. Most of my K&H products have been great like the outdoor heating pads and such. I just wanted everyone to be careful and put out another water source if you continue to use these because it almost killed my animals because it would give them a shock (this had been their only water source and they almost died of thirst before I realized no water was being drank from it).
It is similar to the volts from an electric fence shock when they would try to drink. My husband checked it and it shocked him when he put his hand in the water; like an electric fence shock as I started earlier. When you stand on plywood it doesn't shock so I'm not sure what this means. Tech support said they didn't know why it would do that. I tried different outlets and without any extension cords and it still done the same thing.
When the bowl is on the ground (on the earth's dirt that is) it DOES indeed shock. Very unsettling situation that they refuse to address and do not even ask for me to send them back so they could check them! I bought three of these and one out of the three does this. But how many more could be out there? They obviously don't care because I emailed K&H and spoke with tech support.
I thought about this for a while and decided to put this out there for awareness for your babies welfare. I have many cats and dogs on my farm land and I just wanted the public to be aware of this situation. If you continue to use these, then sit the heated water bowls on a large piece of plywood just in case and to put an alternate water source out. God bless.

Yes I had ordered a dog cooling bed for my two dogs and not even having it for two days it was leaking water and when I contacted the company they keep giving me the run around saying they didn't get my email or anything. I am willing to use this product but first my situation needs to be handled about going to get a new one to replace the defected on I had purchased

We purchased a pet bed warmer from our local pet shop that was manufactured by K&H Pet Products. We HAD 3 kittens that were abandoned by their monther at birth that we were hand feeding. They WERE doing awesome for the first 24 hours of life. We pluged in the bed warmer and it WAS working. We WERE feeding every two hours just as our veterinarian advised.
During the night, in between feedings, the warmer failed. We LOST all 3 kittens due to getting to cold to fast before the next feeding. We were never able to raise their core temperature again. We belive, as does our veterinarian, that the failure of the k&h product is the cause of the loss of core temperature. We thought we had bought a quality product. It cost 3 lives. Don't think a second that you deserve the one star rating.
