All Breed Rescue & Training (ABRT) is a nonprofit dog rescue and training organization based in Colorado Springs. Since 1994, we've been rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever families for dogs deemed unadoptable and facing euthanasia. Our 98% adoption success rate proves that our positive reinforcement- and relationship-based training works.
Training builds trust and cooperation between you and your dog and strengthens your bond while giving you the control and confidence you need. Help your dogs become a part of your family for years to come by teaching them the skills to be good citizens and family members. Move beyond the basics with classes that strengthen your relationship and hone your companion's training.
By adopting your new best friend from ABRT, you'll give an at-risk dog a new leash on life. We're committed to making every adoption a happy and successful one. We've put a simple, tried-and-true adoption process in place to make it happen. Because we are a foster home based rescue, the process might take a little bit longer than walking into a shelter, but once complete, the adoption will be truly rewarding and will come with education, training, and a lifetime of support from the experts at ABRT.
Our rescues need safe, loving homes with people who have the patience to help rehabilitate them. For more information or to become a foster parent, contact us. When you open your home and heart to a dog through ABRT, you are saving that dog's life. We only rescue dogs deemed unadoptable because of behavioral, medical, or training-related issues.

We've been taking our dog Gretel here for Neo dog 1 & Neo Dog 2. We absolutely recommend ABRT. We really feel like the bond we share with our dog has grown so much since we adopted her. Everyone is so knowledgeable and willing to help us when we face challenges with our pup. We look forward to taking more classes

Finishing up our second and third classes with ABRT and hope to do more in the future. Their classes have been so effective. And, they are fun! I had never done formal training with my previous dogs and these folks have taught me so much. It's been amazing to see the results. Even in a group setting, you get great individualized feedback. You can tell they work hard to make it a successful and positive experience for humans and dogs alike.
The classes are well organized with flexible offerings and are designed to be effective in real world situations. I love to take my dog as many places as possible and these classes have set us up to do so safely and with confidence. Highly recommend!

These folks are very special in the way they place animals into forever homes, and with the training programs they offer. All non-profits struggle, especially during the shut downs. But they have done well because of their leadership and understanding of their mission. I congratulate them on doing such a fine job.

I cannot say enough good things about ABRT! Everything you could ever want for your dog is available here. They offer classes to help you be better human for your dog. Everything from puppy training, therapy dog, agility, show skills. They help aggressive dogs, shy dogs, over eater dogs! Best of all, the proceeds from training classes goes to rescue dogs!

10/10 wholeheartedly recommend their training program. Just finished Neo Dog 1 and already signed up for the next level to keep honing my dog's skills. The approach is directly in line with the most up to date and relevant studies on learning theory. If you have a bad dog, a dog that's rough around the edges or a good dog that could be excellent, check out ABRT.
These guys know how to train some dogs and foster a healthy human animal bond! UPDATED - 10 Stars if I could! My rescue pup Kit is completing her third class at ABRT this week. We're practicing for our graduation final exam with Lauren now and I keep smiling seeing the progress Kit has made. Through their positive training, my fearful and insecure street dog has grown into a confident and happy obedient girl (mostly obedient - she still has the independent street dog streak and always will).
I'm a veterinarian in town and recommend the behavior and training teams to my clients regularly. I don't think this is our last class at ABRT. Its too much fun to grow in my relationship with my dog through training and play. If you're looking for a great training program to help support a healthy relationship with your canine friend, look no further than All Breed Rescue and Training.

We found All Breed after adopting our dog at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak region. They were recommended as the place to get training for our dog. All Breed is even better than that, they train you to train your dog. After a couple of classes in Neo Dog 1 I knew this was a great non-profit and decided it would be a great volunteer opportunity.
I have since done many of the volunteer positions working with dogs and people and have found they are truly a great organization saving animals lives and enriching peoples lives through positive trust built relationship training. The training available ranges from simple obedience all the way through specialties. I highly recommend you try All Breed.
