Copeland's Pet Motel & Grooming, Inc. has been owned and operated by our family since its establishment in August of 1945 by Dorothy and Rufus Copeland. We also have incredibly hardworking staff; some of which have been working with us for 20+ years. With Indoor/Outdoor Kennel areas and quiet Luxury Suite options, we offer a variety of accommodations for pets of all kinds.Our pet salon provides professional dog grooming with relaxing bath treatments and nail grinds. In a separate building all to themselves, cats can have a tranquil experience when staying in a personal Cat Condo featuring climbing pads and soft music.

As one of the oldest & finest boarding businesses in the Southern United States, our feet are planted firmly in the past 75+ years of Mobile, Alabama. Our facility covers roughly 3.5 well-groomed acres and over 55,000 square feet of boarding kennels, each with their own outdoor run & play area. The Luxury Suites (that you'll have to see to believe) feature day beds, decorative wallpaper, bed linens, and flat-screen TVs to entertain your pets when they aren't napping or running around in the play yard.

They had my babyboy for 10 days, and I have nothing but good things to say. My pup has an occassional anxiety medical issue, and when it came up I got a call from Mrs. Copeland herself letting me know that they're aware of it, and wanted to keep me in the loop. Being 2000 miles away, I appreciated the call. They always took the time to go see him & check whenever I called in to check up on him while I was away, and they were always happy to give me a status report on him. Amazing prices for the sound of mind I had while I was away. Thank you again! We will definitely be back.

If I could give Copeland's Pet Hotel a 10 star rating I would! The best customer service I've experienced in a long time. I appreciate the friendly staff, clean facility, and overall great experience for my fur babies. Hands down the best for boarding and the care of my Yorkie and Morkie. Thank ya'll so much!

Excellent! I have been using this kennel for almost 20 years. and they keep getting better. They take care of my "geriatric" dog as well as my young Shih Tzu. Pets are cared for lovingly and professionally. The kennel is, no doubt, the most modern and well maintained in Mobile. I am able to actually watch my dog via webcam 24/7 while I'm away. Of course, if I don't want that luxury, other welcoming, clean rooms are available. My dogs are "family" and the staff at Copelands's return them to me just like they have been cared for by family. KUDOS!

They treat the animals really good I must say. The problem I have with them is that after working there on a trail basis, they shut down for covid ( May 2021). When they reopened, I call them and asled for something in writing saying they had to close due to covid. Surprisingly, the owner went from nice and polite, and said, ' You must be trying to get unemployment from me.
I told her that I had two jobs at the time and I assured her I was not. She then said ( rudely) she would have to talk to her lawyer and then she removed all her covid closure info from the internet. I'm not sure why she responded like that, but it was real unprofessional.
