I have been coming to this hospital after moving here in 2011 from SW VA. We have multiple rabbits through the years and all see Dr. Brown. (Updated 2022/June/26th)

Dr. Crossman is terrific! Brought our new service puppy-in-training for his first well-visit and she took great care of him. I was put off by the phone greeting which still says you have to wear a mask to bring your pet inside but thankfully that's not true. You do stay at your car and they come out to usher you in to the exam room, which is actually preferable to trying to keep a puppy entertained in a little waiting area!

There is no other vet we would go to. DR. BROWN IS the best in town. Caring and knowledgeable are her forte'. Runs a great practice.not to mention she is a very good vet surgeon. I have tried other vets if she wasn't available and always come back to Jolly Pond because of her.

Called ahead and brought in a Cat with a challenge and the Staff was efficient, kind, had a simple process to get him into care. Super clear communication. Excellent experience and kitty is doing fine

Don't bother calling their receptionist was rude. Also they are adamant that they will not see any new patients, within in the next six months. So I'll go somewhere else. Disappointed because this was close to our new home. But if they don't care, I don't want to bring our family pets we love dearly to them.

Was glad to get our dog in as he had torn his back nail into the quick. Dr. Brown is great. She said our dog's nails needed trimming. I asked why didn't someone mention this when we came in just a few months ago. Her response was just ask, which I found odd, since she mentioned the nails needing trimming. My dog's nails did not grow that much in a few months.

The injury might have been avoided if whoever I saw at the previous visit had just said something. I rely on your veterinary hospital to point out things, rather than being told to ask. We were given antibiotics for our dog, but no sheet on the med to know what to expect in case of side effects. Shouldn't the customer be given a drug sheet, just like you do for a person? Hoping for a better experience on our next visit.

Dr. Brown who owns Jolly Pond Veterinary Hospital can figure out what is wrong when other vets cannot. She diagnosed a problem correctly when two other vet offices in town had no idea. Other vets at Jolly Pond are good and the entire staff is very caring. This vet office has become so popular that if you are not a current client, it can be a long wait to get an appointment.

The veterinarians and their staff are so knowledgeable, professional, caring, and we have been patients for over 15 years!

In 2016, I was told my dog had a possible ACL tear. I called so many places and was turned away because of her size (60 pounds) The affordable vet in Richmond was too expensive for me at the time. A friend mentioned Dr Brown at Jolly Pond. She was so kind and affordable. Rucas surgery went well and I couldn't be more pleased. Now it's 2021. Ruca is 14. Shes been having issues and I chose to return to Jolly pond. Dr Crossman and her Tech have been so kind.

I told her my budget, and she didn't want me to spend money on unnecessary or unhelpful things. She only did things she felt were absolutely necessary and to try to figure out what were dealing with, medications and I opted for an xray as well. In the end, there's nothing myself or Dr crossman can do. If I could, I would sell every possible possession I own. But there's nothing that can be done except give Ruca all of my love and spoil her until the end. I'm a complete wreck and I'm so thankful for Jolly pond.

Dr. Hill was amazing with our fur nugget Minnie who is extremely fussy. He is incredibly compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we moved and had to find another vet but we miss Dr. Hill and the staff at Jolly Pond. Highly recommend!
