Zelda has been in Arbor Dog Day Care since she was 4 months old. She is very happy to be there. She would not look back as we dropped her off at the daycare. People from this place really care about dogs. They remember Zelda and are certified to look after dogs with special needs. This place also foster dogs from the local shelter and is dedicated to animal charities. Highly recommended.

We took my dog here for a temperament test back in november. my dog is very relaxed and calm, but a little shy and reserved because we adopted him from a shelter. when we dropped him off they called us maybe an hour later saying "he's hiding in a corner and seems uncomfortable i think its best you come get him and we'll try again in a few months when he gets more established". we agreed with their decision because we just got him 2 months prior and thought maybe its too soon. today we took him back there and we were told the same exact thing. but when we looked on the cameras he wasn't hiding in a corner, he was following the dogs, hanging out laying down just chilling. they said he seems uncomfortable & clearly doesnt "love it". not all dogs like going to daycare plus he was literally hanging out laying down & following the other dogs what more does he need to do? he's not very energetic i dont know what they expected. he never actively hurt a dog or tore anything up he was simply laying down, that seems like an easy dog to look after. needless to say im glad we arent taking him back there anymore because the people that are in the room with the dogs never show any attention to the dogs anyway they sit on the couch for a couple minutes then walk out & leave some dogs alone in the room unattended. if you want my dog to love it so bad, try and interact with him and make him trust you.

Was late within 30 min to a scheduled meet and greet and was told when I got there that it was canceled and to reschedule another month out without any follow up confirmation to see if I was on my way?

We take our two dogs here a couple times a week. Our dogs are excited every time I pull into the parking lot and they realize where they are going. The staff is caring, considerate, and tells me even the littlest detail of my dogs visit if there was anything they thought I should know. They take great care of the dogs and have cameras in every area so you can check on your pups during the day. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Very friendly staff. I had planned a vacation and booked the dates ahead, but due to a system glitch, the booked dates got erased and when I asked them to book it, it was full. Courtney helped me check with her team and manager to make sure they can make an exception and got back to me on the same day that they moved things around a bit to accommodate my dates. Courtney was super polite and nice and was able to empathize with my situation. She is a great employee that the team should be proud to have. Even during my visit to drop off my dog, the entire staff is very friendly and accommodating

We brought George and Bella for years without a worry. They don't have cages, outdoor access, professional and caring staff that knew dog temperament and placed them with others according to behavior. We left them in their care at night quite a few times and never worried. Our big guy recently passed and we are looking forward to taking the girl back. Great people and recommend them for anyone who is looking for daycare.

I work from home for long hours at a time and also live in a complex with an extremely small dog park. So with those two things combined, I've been looking for a cage free daycare to take my 9 year old lab to a few times a week. Bubby just got home from his first day and he was so happy! He had his temperament test and stayed a little longer to play outside.

Already very impressed! It is the biggest relief to know my dog is safe, playing outside/inside in the open, socializing with other pets, and being taken care of by an attentive staff. The pricing is very reasonable too! I'm excited for next week where Bubby will be there, active & happy, while I am able to get my work done :

I had an appointment for a meet and greet for my golden Millie today I filled out the paperwork and they said bring Milly over to the side and I says I would like to see were Mill is going to be staying I'm not going to just drop her off and her response was well you should've let us know earlier because we're really busy today well that's the whole intention of having a meet and greet so she already had Millie's leash in her hand she threw it at me and I pick Milly up and walked out I would never take my dog there and I would never recommend it the receptionist was extremely rude.

Long overdue review for this amazing place. I took my dog here for two years while living in the Ann Arbor area. She absolutely loved the place, couldn't get her in the door quick enough. The staff was always incredibly friendly and gave me updates on my pup if she was acting funny or not feeling well. Anyone that takes their dog there will be very happy.

My wife and I could not be happier with a business. We have boarded our hound there for nearly 5 years. The staff has been nothing but outstanding, many know our hound by name. I would recommend Arbor Dog Daycare to anyone in need of quality half day, full day or boarding. Y'all rock!

We love bringing our dog here. From the staff to the prices everything is perfect. Their drop off system is quick and easy. It's nice that this location offers camera's if you want to check in on your animal during the day. We are definitely happy customers.

This is a great place for both daycare and boarding. My pup runs to the door everyday so she must love it. The staff is really helpful and positive. I can highly recommend AD2!

Ann Arbor is so lucky to have such a wonderful option for doggy daycare and boarding. My father's dog attends frequently, and recently had to be boarded unexpectedly for several weeks during a family illness, and he was treated beautifully, showered with love, and the staff was always incredibly accommodating and wonderful to work with. Five stars all the way. I wish we had Arbor Dog where I live!

We came to do a temperament test for the day and were greatly disappointed by their customer service. First off, two of their employees showed up more than 15-20 minutes late, leaving all of their customers and dogs waiting outside. After we walked in, the person who is now very late decided to ignore customers and attend to her duties, leaving everyone who was outside waiting for her for another 5 minutes.

As new customers, we had no idea about the protocols and procedures; a simple "wait a few moments, be right with you, " or "hello" would have been suitable. When we finally were greeted, filled out the form, she did not explain us anything about the facility, how they separated their animals, how they keep them active, if they get walked, or how we request something specific; rather it was a perfunctory drop-off.

We went home to check the cameras and none of them seemed to load. All the still images that were offered in lieu of the cameras were the same still images repeated. A compilation of doggy cams not working, multiple staff members being very late, and how they handle dog screenings made me say: No thank you!

They are a no cage facility. Dogs get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Great group of care takers. My dog is ready for a well earned nap!

We love Arbor Dog Daycare! Knight goes at least 4x a week, and he's boarded there when we are out of town. It's nice getting to know the people that work there, and know that he will be taken care of.

I was stressed about finding an affordable, yet high quality doggy daycare and boarding facility for my 4 month old Golden Retriever. A coworker of mine recommended Arbor Dog Daycare and after extensive research, I felt it really was the best value in Ann Arbor. Stella was nervous on her first day but the workers made sure she was safe and comforted when she wanted to hide under the couches.

Their online webcams of the facility are great and you can tell the staff really cares about the dogs. I also like that the much larger breeds of dogs are kept separate from other dogs. After a short time, Stella warmed up to the other dogs and she now comes home from daycare exhausted and happy. I have photos to prove it!

Arbor Dog Daycare is absolutely amazing. Every single person who works there is so nice, and they are totally all about the dogs. I trust them completely. My dog got very sick once when he was there, and we were out of town and not able to get home immediately. Margaret and Susan took my dog to the vet, sent me constant updates, and by the time I got back everything was taken of. There's no way I would take my dogs anywhere but Arbor Dog.

It is such a relief to be able to rely on Arbor Dog Daycare when I'm out of town or having work done on my house. I only use Arbor Dog Daycare once or twice a month on average, but they know my dogs by name every time. My dogs always come home happy and tired out. Their bathing and nail services are also excellent. Couldn't be happier!

I have been taking my dog here for daycare and occasional overnight stays for a little while now. They open early enough for me to drop him off before work, which I do appreciate. However, I am not sure what has changed. The past few times I have taken my dog there, he would become sick either after he has been picked up or the next day. I took my dog there last Friday and within 5 minutes of picking him up, he puked all over the back seat of my car.

He continued to throw up 2 more times after getting home. Even though he stopped throwing up that day, I could tell he wasn't feeling that well. He didn't eat his food for a few days, barely drank any water, and had the big 'D'. I have also taken him to plenty of other doggy daycares and he has never gotten sick. I did call them about what he eats during the day and they said they do not feed them anything, even treats unless I give approval and provide the treats.

If this is the case, it sounds like there is a cleanliness problem. The other thing I noticed is he often needs a bath after picking him up because he has pee and dirt (I hope dirt) on his legs and paws. I understand dogs are dogs and will get dirty, but I don't understand why his legs and paws would be covered in pee every time.

We have been taking our shepherd mix here two to three days a week for almost a year. She loves it and the staff is very friendly and caring with the dogs. Such a relief to know your dog is being well-cared for.

I had an incredibly negative experience with this establishment. I dropped off my dog for their 3-hour temperament test. Within 45 minutes of me dropping him off, I called to let them know that I would be delivering his lunch mid-morning. During this call they asked me, "How long has your dog had a limp?" My dog has never had a limp and was incredibly healthy and fit.

The web cam was conveniently not working when the injury incurred. Distressed about what happened, I immediately left work to pick him up. He was indeed badly injured and was unable to use his back leg. The employees on duty said they "didn't know what happened, he was in a room alone." There was zero explanation, no apology for their lack of supervision, and even worse they did not follow up on how he was doing.

After taking him to the vet to get looked at, I learned that he had shattered his knee cap and he was going to need intensive surgery to repair the leg. My vet was very clear, that this type of injury is caused by "blunt force to the knee cap." His surgery cost over $5k and Arbor Dog will take zero responsibility. This place is extremely unorganized, unhygienic, and too crowded. Please do not take your dog to this business; it is not healthy for your sweet pup. Please seek out other care for your animal; it will be worth your time.

We left our dog for a half day trial and when we picked him up we found he had an injury on his rear leg. After $250 spent at urgent care we talked to the manager who was very sorry and did not know how it happened. I should have known better as there seemed to be too many dogs all in a small area. No green space for the dogs either and just pens setup inside an industrial warehouse.

I love this place. My dog enjoys playing with the wide variety of dogs. I love that they have different areas for the dogs temperament.(small dog room), puppy room, big dog room. I love the cameras where I can view my dog and I really appreciate the cage free environment. I had the opportunity to meet the owners at. Huron valley humane society's walk and wag and they are great, and truly love their vision. All the workers are amazing, and they don't discriminate on breed of dog, which is phenomenal! I defiantly recommend arbor dog for your pup!
