A lot of people have positive experiences at the veterinarian once the staff gets to know them. However, one of the most important aspects of any good pet doctor is how they treat new patients.

I have several fur babies, and have been trying different Vet Clinics around the DSM Metro. Fleur Pet Hospital is by far the best hands down! My family's newest addition-Echo (a 6.5 week old Corgi) and I were greeted as soon as we walked in the door! He is usually scared of new places being a puppy, but they showered him with love and praise so he became very confident that this place isn't scary after all.we got into an exam room very quickly, and they made sure that I knew what to expect during our first visit.

They listened to any concerns I had, and made recommendations on a puppy health plan that they thought would work best for Echo and I. They genuinely made Echo feel comfortable and safe the whole exam. He especially loved the treats! Overall the visit was amazing and stress free. I feel confident in his care and will be bringing him back as a loyal patient along with my other fur babies.

It's very reassuring to know if anything happened to my fur babies that I now have a place that I can take them to get the best possible care. Another great thing about FPH is that the pricing is very affordable. I don't normally write reviews, but If you were like me- searching for a Vet that truly cares about your animals health/well-being I highly recommend you go try out Fleur Pet Hospital! Thank you FPH for taking care of Echo today. He had such a great time getting spoiled, and I feel great that he is healthy/happy!

The people here clearly care about your pets like they are their own. I've put one cat down here and they looked decently as sad as I did for doing so. I worry sometimes that they try to overcharge but they probably just are suggesting what they would want for their animals

Before I moved to Des Moines 5 years ago, I interviewed several vets. Fleur Pet Hospital "won" hands down and I've been happy with them ever since. I recommended FPH to my sister when she moved here and she, too, thinks this is the very best place for her four cats and a dog. Top Notch and NICE people.

They are very nice there, but if you want to spend a fortune, this is your place. They add on extra charges without telling you. I have a healthy young cat, but was expected to come every 6 months. Healthy people only have annual visits. This is pri e gouging. If she wants to charge that much move to the west side. People can afford to spend that kind of money.

The quality of care was great. But the prices are outrageous. Blood work was going to cost us hundreds of dollars more than our last vet. So we decided to stick with our old vet and just drive across town.

Don't take your pets here unless you want to be scammed out of your money. They don't care about you or your pet. They tried to scam 4,000 out of me. Telling me my dog tested positive for heart worms. Messing up her medication for this treatment not one time, not two times, three times. Once that was finally figured out the day she was scheduled for treatment they had planned her weight wrong and for 5 pounds she gained they wanted an additional 2,000 dollars.

When I hesitated to hand over my money, I was suggested I apply for their credit card. Picked my dog up took her somewhere else to find she didn't have heart worms, I was being scammed. The vet was too scared to come out and talk to me, requested that her staff have me leave when I came to discuss this issue. Never called or rescheduled a time to tell me how this happened. The disappointment didn't end there; When the templated apology email came, it was generic and topped with the wrong name. If you love your pet, get a new vet.

I hadn't been here in nearly a decade after moving aways away - but having recently bought a house nearby and a puppy. figured I'd go back to the nearby vet. I'm glad to see nothing has changed (except the covid regulations) in their level of service. Picard says thanks!

They treat your pet like they were their own. They make suggestions and give you options for treatments/vaccines, but always ask beforehand and don't pressure you. My dog is always happy to see them, which speaks volumes about their care!

Dr. Williams and her staff have been nothing but amazing to work with these past few months. They are very friendly, compassionate about what they do and most importantly make you feel welcomed. I have come to know this staff and think of them as my second family. They have treated not only my animals well, but me as well. I don't feel like I am coming here to work but I am coming here because they make me feel welcomed every time I walk through that door.

When something happened with my dog Dr. Williams took my concerns and made me feel better about them. She listened to me when I needed to talk to somebody about them. This clinic is one that I will never forget about and I will continue to come here for treatment. Athena, Velvet, and I are all very fortunate to have been here and to have worked with everybody here. Dr. Williams and her staff. Thank you so much for these past wonderful months. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me and my animals.

Dr. Lisa Williams and her staff have been providing incredible care for our pets (dogs and cats) for many years now. We recently had to make the very difficult decision to put our 18 year old cat (Rex) to sleep, and it gave me a moment to reflect on the fantastic support that Fleur Pet Hospital provided over the years, especially as more medical care was needed later in his life.

As animal guardians, when our pets our healthy, visits to the vet are straightforward. The staff here does a great job - ensuring clear communication with a caring approach - to ensure the routine visits are comprehensive, informative, and efficient to minimize stress to our animals. When we boarded Rex over the years, he LOVED staying at the vet (he had a wonderful life at home too).

The care and updates provided by staff reassured us that he was doing well, and he was always in the best of spirits when we came to pick him up. As pets age or medical issues appear, we rely on our vet and their staff to inform us and guide us on what the options are as we make often difficult decisions on treatment and care. Over the past few years as Rex started to experience medical challenges, Dr. Williams has consistently been excellent about explaining the conditions and challenges as well as working with us to outline options for plans of care and executing those plans.

She works with us to evaluate how the options were working and if we needed to adjust. We always had a team looking out for Rex. Recently, when it became clear that Rex's quality of life required us to evaluate what was best for him, Dr. Williams provided the right balance of compassion and education to help lead us through that very difficult decision. I am truly grateful to them for providing Rex such excellent care and would trust them with any of our beloved family pets.

They basically prey on your fear of losing your pet. They nickel & dime you to death. She charges 3x as much for her services than other places. She wanted to charge me 189.00 for lab work for bladder stones. My new vet charged me 33.00 and same exact lab. She told me my dog needed to be on special food for kidney failure. My new vet advised after blood work my dogs kidneys are fine & the special food is actually giving my dog high cholesterol. She will mentally and financially drain you. Really over priced

I took my dog to the groomer at the pet hospital. Although the staff is very friendly and welcoming, I must say that my dog's haircut was TERRIBLE. My five-year-old cousin could've done a better job than the "professional" at the pet hospital. His cut was a mess; he had patches of skin exposed all of his body, and his beard was completely lopsided. Yes, my dog may not be the biggest fan of getting groomed, but even he was depressed after having to live with his awful haircut. He looked rabid.
