Services
Montgomery County has no regulations regarding pet care. Kennel licenses or inspections are not required in our area. We have imposed our own high standards upon ourselves so you can feel secure in the quality of care given to your pet. We encourage an inspection of our kennel by clients at any time during our posted office hours.
Our daily rates are based on the size of the room (single or double) and number of pets in the room. We apply a discount on additional pets in same room. Should a medical problem arise your veterinarian will be contacted. In the event we are unable to contact your veterinarian, we will transport your pet to the nearest available veterinary clinic.

I've been bringing my doggie Stormie here for some time. When I first found them on Yelp I was relieved they were able to board Stormie on such sort notice for more than a couple days. Every since then I bring her whenever I'm going somewhere & need a sitter. I also added some grooming in which was lovely, I have a husky. I get good vibes from the staff you can tell they really love animals!

Best value dog boarding in the Bay Area. We love taking our pups Leia and Alfie here when we go out of town. They clearly spend lots of time with them because they notice personality traits and habits that would be hard to pickup on otherwise. Our dogs always come back happy and healthy, and you can always give them a call to ask for a update.

My daughter and I recently left our beloved dogs at Holiday Kennels for about a week. My dog Boomer is a 2 1/2 year old rat terrier and my daughter's chiquaqua, Rocco, is 13 years old. We had them in a shared room with an indoor/outdoor set up. Boomer loved being outside and was happy to "talk" with the other dogs in the other kennels-Rocco not so much. Lori noticed he seemed uncomfortable and unhappy and cared enough to move Rocco into his own room inside where he became very happy.
She also took the time to prpepare their dog food the way they like it. Both dogs were happy and healthy when we picked them up. The place is nothing fancy, but the cost is reasonable. It's a great, caring place and the indoor/outdoor kennels are great for dogs who like the freedom to go outside whenever they want to. We will leave our dogs in Lori's care again the next time we go out of town.

They are great I have been leaving my dogs here for over 15 years. My first set now my second set of dogs. They are always very kind to my dogs and I now have 3. I had an emergency while I was away and they were very accommodating. My pit is always happy to come back as well as my dalmation now the other baby loves it too, and this was his first time. I recommend them 100%.

We found be out about this kennel from my parents who took their dog there for years. When we brought our dogs they remembered my parents dog and seemed genuinely sad that she had passed. They even shared some of their own memories about her. I could tell this was a great place from that first moment. They take great care of our dogs to the point that our dogs seemed sad to be going and are excited whenever we bring them.
We don't like leaving our dogs, but when we do leave them at Holiday Kennels we know they're in great hands. I recommend this kennel to anyone looking for a great place for their pups. It isn't a fancy place but they really care for the pups and the pups truly seem to enjoy their time with them.

I moved to the area in 2010. The first thing I did was find a reputable vet and kennel, even before finding my own medical care. In 2014 I moved 50 miles away, but I still use Holiday Kennels. The peace of mind is worth the drive. These people truly love animals. My dog loves going there and they love having her. In addition to an inside sleep area with an outside run, each dog is taken out to the yard for play time 3x per day without additional charges. Yes, they play with the animals. I've talked with kennels that will charge extra just to get them out for a walk.
I have boarded my dog with Holiday numerous times and she has never, ever contracted an illness from her stay. It is important to book as far in advance as possible, especially for holiday boarding.

Great kennel! I love Pam and Chrissy, they have taken excellent care of my elderly dog and my young dog. I have boarded my dogs here multiple times and always have been extremely happy. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for people that care about the dogs and want indoor/outdoor runs. They are also very helpful and are sure to answer any questions I have.

What do you look for in a kennel? What do you think your pets deserve? Do they deserve a foo foo place, where they will (many terms for this) "pet" your pet for an additional $2-$5 a day? Do they deserve someplace that for an additional $6.75 a day will also give them a treat? Where most of the day they are locked in a smallish cell barking at other dogs for entertainment?
Just waiting for their Potty break to get at least some change? OR What if they stayed at some nothing can be described as Foo Foo, place. There is no additional fee for "lavishing attention" on your pet. If you want them to have certain food, or treats, bring a bag with some and give them to them. They will give them to them while petting them as just part of their boarding.
The owners just love pets. No little cage typically, but dogs get an enclosure with an outdoor run for each. Sure they still bark at each other (that's what dogs do after all), but they have the option of going outside to do it, or stay inside. I think they have a less stressful boarding experience for the pets themselves. But how can a non-scientific, computer person know this you ask?
We had a golden husky mix.and everything we boarded her, she came back with a bladder infection. We tried a different place around the Humble/Kingwood area, and the result was always the same. We were wondering if we could never travel, until we tried Holiday Kennels. When we picked them (we had 2 dogs) up, she was fine. No vet. visits and medicine to give her.
The only thing we could think of was it had to do with the outside run (but she had that before and still had an infection) or it was just less stressful for the pets. Bring cash or check, they didn't take debit or credit cards every time we have been. But it has been a year or so as we have been, we have been able to to take the dogs with lately.
But they are our kennel of choice. i would give them 5 stars, but the not taking a credit card is a little inconvenient in this day and age. I have to remember how to write a check all over again since I don't write them anymore (smile).
