I followed the telephone prompts and was placed on hold for an hour. No one picked up the call. I had a simple question that I looked for on the website before placing the call. I still don't have an answer to my question. Zero stars!

Horrible service. If I ever work for the CIty of Houston again I will never have HMEPS hold my money again.they are unorganized, the building stays closed, no one answers phones, and it takes them forever to transfer money or give you money if you request it.

This entity is extremely outdated. They still rely completely on paper mail (IN 2021!) and, like other reviewers have stated, are never available. Expect at least one week of processing for things like a simple phone call to confirm receipt of their required mail-in documents.
