The only place I can take my Bella to get her nails done. I spent years trying to find the right place that would be able to handle my stressed out furbaby and finally I found the perfect place. My Bella loves to go here and loves the choices of treats and toys they have. The staff is very helpful and the prices are great!

This was my first time at pet ranch and I LOVE IT! Staff was friendly and helpful, they also have good quality products there, Stella and Chewys, Kong Earthbath, etc. This will definitely be my go to place for now on!

I visited the store a couple times, the first time I didn't got a good impression nobody tried to help or ask if I need help. The second time I went there, was more like an emergency and having no other place to go, that time was better there was a lady named Laura that was nice and helpful and I decided to try to give them another chance. I called this morning to get information in the grooming services they perform I truly hope they are nicer to the animals than what they are to people, cause the lady who answered the phone did not wanted to go to work today or at least that's how she was acting. If you don't want my service that's fine by me. I will take it somewhere else

Great place. Owners treat you like family. We have gone their for all our pets from grooming to food for over 20 years now

This is my go to place for all of my dog supplies. First I can get all my training supplies. There is always plenty of attention from the knowledgeable team. They are also willing to track down hard to find novelty toys for my two large breed dogs. They help me select the food brands that I want but also have guided me to excellent products that I now use.

Customer service is over the top excellent. I needed to purchase dog food for extended boarding and did not have the time to make it to the store. Pet Ranch delivered the food to the boarding facility. Come on, can you get better than that!. I hope this review helps someone who loves their pets find all the supplies they need at prices comparable to the big box stores and a far superior selection.

I took my Airedale terrier to be groomed at the Pet Ranch and was shocked with the result. The groomer made no effort to give the dog a distinctive Airedale cut. The dog's entire body was clipped the same length as if the groomer didn't care or didn't know (or maybe both) how to groom this breed of dog. Pet Ranch was recommended by a friend, but I will never go back again. This is the worst job anyone has ever done on any of the many dogs I have owned.

When we first moved to Kingwood last year, Pet Ranch was one of the best "first impressions" of the community here. My first time in the store and meeting Kent and Jan, they made sure I felt welcomed not only to the "Pet Ranch Family", but to Kingwood. In continuing to shop there, I have learned that such kindness is part of the normal experience! Customers are genuinely valued, and the staff go above and beyond. The store itself is bright and clean, and the selection of products available are thoughtfully chosen.

I love this place. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and most of all friendly. They know that we love our pets as family. They get it. They go out of their way to help my mom get exactly what she needs for her two four-legged "grandkids". I try to shop local when I can and I can't recommend them enough.

Always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They did a nice job grooming one of our dogs. Good selection of pet supplies and I love that they work with local rescues to help find homes for dogs.

This is SUCH an awesome place to browse, buy Science Diet dog food, shop for treats and pet toys, and take our little toy poodle to be groomed. Lori is awesome and does an outstanding job on our little boy! She is simply the best! The owners are also some of the sweetest people you would ever want to meet! They are helpful, kind, and just an incredibly loving couple!

I always feel great when I go in there. Everyone always has a smile and such helpful, service-oriented attitudes! They consistently provide excellent, personalized customer service. This shop is a rarity and if I could grade them any higher, I certainly would. This is my favorite business in Kingwood! This is my go to place for Frohm dog food. They are always very helpful. Even after they were flooded by Harvey and had to rebuild, we were so happy when they reopened. Now they are there for those who flooded from Imelda. Thank you!

I have been bringing my dog to get groomed at Pet Ranch for about five years. He sees Lori every six weeks and she is faithful to call and remind me. The staff is friendly and goes the extra mile! What do I mean? They will load a large bag of dog/cat food in your car for you! Who does that? Pet Ranch!

Very helpful ladies! I needed advice on how to get tangles out of my long-hair Peruvian guinea pig, Oni. They told me what products would be best and showed me the proper technique for brushing his hair with the new detangling brush I bought. Thanks! I usually never go here and now I remember why! The owner was working the register the day I stopped in and tried to sell me a 50$ pooper scooper. Really? Is it gold plated? Do you sell a lot of 50 dollar popper scoopers guy? Maybe that is part of the reason I was the only person in the store that day. Oooh they are a "high-end" pet supply shop. Lol you carry the exact same merchandise as every other pet supplies store on the planet.

Just at a much more inflated, ridiculous price. Please tell me that there are not that many naive people in Kingwood, with more money than brains, to keep a place like this open?.

Love this family owned shop. They truly care about their customers and their pets. They have an amazing groomer too!

We heard about the city of Kingwood hassling the shop over some flags they're using to celebrate their 40th Anniversary in business AND that they re-opened after Hurricane Harvey hit them hard. So we decided to pay them a visit to buy some supplies for our new puppies and support local business. Super staff (Meagan & Bernice) were so very nice and very warm with their greeting as soon as we walked through the door. Megan took her time to find out what our pups were and how to fill an obvious need we had in their care.

We walked through the entire store listening to her advice and buying what we needed. Want to know why we'll be back? Megan's obvious compassion and care when it came to our new babies.you don't get that sort of service with PetsMart or Petco. We'll be back for more supplies as needed, but don't be surprised if we just stopped in to visit and chat with their super nice and caring staff.

We drove 43 minutes to this store just to support a small business and when we left with everything we needed, it was us that felt as if we are now fully supported - keep up the great work and incredible attitude, Meagan. We'll see you guys again real soon.

So I have recently discovered this gem in Kingwood. They have competitive prices with outstanding service. I will never have to go back to one of those "box" retailers again! Yes they have taste of the wild which is the only thing I feed my Bullie. If you have never tried this place do yourself a favor and drop in you will not regret it. You can get all your stuff in one place as they have a great selection for all animals.

Pet Ranch only sells the best and most high quality food/treats for your fur babies. I always buy my Taste of the Wild dog food here, because they have competitive prices and their staff is so helpful and friendly.

A small business that knows what they are doing. What's the secret? Customer service, customer service, customer service. I can go to a box store closer to home and pay as much if not a touch less, but the box store doesn't care if I come there or not and they don't notice that I don't go there. The Pet Ranch ladies are all really great, yes even you Bernice!

They are always warm and welcoming and helpful if we have questions. They know us and they care that we come to get our pet supplies from them. Not sure where I'd go if they ever closed, hopefully I'll never have to find out.

I live really close to Petco, so they have been getting my business. But today they informed me that the dog food my two older dogs rest, they no longer carry (Purina Pro Plan Bright Mind for large breed). So looking around I found Pet Ranch carries it. It is literally a few more dollars than petco, but if I buy 10 bags, I get one free, and they track it for me!

They showed me where it was, and carried it to the register for me. So I asked for a new collar in a certain configuration I could not find at Petco or Petsmart, and they had it! Cheaper than the other two also. So then I asked for a bag of puppy food, also few dollars more that Petco, but it is also buy 10 get one free, but I have to track the purchases by saving the recipients in a little envelop they supplied (blue buffalo large breed puppy).

They also carried the large bag to the van to help me out. They were so nice, it was refreshing. They will be getting more of my business from now on. It's worth the extra 5 mile drive. You have to love mom & pop shops with that kind of service. If you have pets, and live in the Kingwood area, I would give them a try if you hadn't before.

I have been doing business with this store since 1989 and have always found the staff and owners very friendly and helpful. A great selection of food and accessories for dogs and cats. They have started carrying things I asked for over the years. This store beats the pants off the big box stores in the area for knowledge and service. The groomers are very good, but you have to book a month in advance since they are so busy.

I have found this with most of the good groomers. Lorie is great and our dog always looks great when she is done. I always support local ownership, until they mess up. This store hasn't messed up in 20+years.

I have been purchasing my dog food from Pet ranch for a while now and I have to say the store is always stocked with what I need and want for my pets. However, the customer service lacks. the might be one or two people that are nice and helpful but the other several older ladies that work there are always short and come across rude. They act as if you are inconveniencing them.

There has been an older gentleman there from time to time, who is super nice and helpful. I'm assuming the owner. But anyhow they should really replace the older women who clearly don't care for their customers.

HORRIBLE. The customer service used to be great, years ago. Currently, every one of the employees are rude and treat people like they are idiots. The groomer knows nothing about customer service and tried to argue with me last time I was there, all she cares about is getting a paycheck. This place is extremely unsanitary, I know from personal experience. I'm completely unsatisfied with every single thing about Pet Ranch and would not go back even if I was paid to. Everyone reading this: TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!

This is a small, locally owned pet store that is stuffed floor to ceiling with pet supplies. I am agog at how they got so much into such a small place. The people who work here are really nice. They have a great selection of dog and cat foods, including high end natural foods. They can even track the food you buy so that it's easier to shop there.

They participate in vendor's frequent buyer programs too, so you can earn free food. I like that they're a local shop and that I'm helping my local community by shopping there so I don't mind paying a little extra when I go there. Give them a try.

I always get great service here. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection of high quality food that our cocker spaniel really enjoys and they also have a loyalty program where you get a free bag of food.

Pet Ranch is a small business with a big heart. It is rejuvenating to find a business that still values customer service the way Pet Ranch does. Unlike PetsMart or Petco, Pet Ranch it is obvious that they are there to take care of their customers. Each time I walk in I am immediately greeted and politely asked if I need any assistance. And never again do I have to fight with getting those ridiculously heavy and awkward bags of dog food into my car; the Pet Ranch employees have not only asked but insisted on carrying the food to my car with each purchase.

On top of the premier customer service, Pet Ranch offers a customer loyalty program, where after you purchase 7 bags of dog food your 8th bag is completely free--a great perk when you are feeding four bottom-less pits like I am. Though their other pet products are mildly more expensive, their dog food prices are equivalent if not better than your larger pet food stores. All in all, I think Pet Ranch can be an essential tool to any pet owner.
