So upset! Nicole PLEASE PUT PEOPLE ON HOLD! Gina I am not Spanish I just have just an Accent. I called to put my sister dog down, it was time. My fiancee goes to them for years. Gina did not understand this, we did NOT what a Free EXAM first! so I hung up looking for Kathy. Nichole who was so nasty said yes we are looking for someone to talk with you, but you hung up.

I told her yes I did because I am not Spanish. I need to come in and put a family pet down, he can't breath. OKAY HOLD ON is what I got, ( not on hold ) this lady is so nasty god! if her pet is that bad she needs an ER. Hello I'm sorry the DR want's you to go too the ER. WHAT! WHY? she has an emergency her self and must go. That one action made me SICK!

Because it was a lie. Now outside of the night shift, BOTH DR's, Kathy, Shenna and Heather are great. My Bella loves it when Shenna takes her in for boarding. She come's back Happy and Clean that much I can say. So they do have great people working for them. Just not after 3 pm, when you go in you will see why. They need more people like the morning shift.

It would be Nice to talk with someone about this. I would say at my appalments but I need them after 4 and lately we are being called to move them. After just making them with Kathy that morning. So if to sum it up they do have Good Vet care just during the morning shift, and some Saturday's! They have a Tech that is not people friendly, her and the young man rush you and Don't give you the correct information. Who can we call to fix this.? My fiancee will be doing all the appalments for now. my heart is still hurt.

The woman who just called me was quite condescending. We changed our appointment time FOR THEM last minute from 11:30 to 11 bc the vet was going on vacation- and bc we were 10 minutes late and arrived at 11:10 - this woman on the phone decided to berate us that we were late and the doctor wouldn't see us beyond a 5 minute grace period and that the doctor was LEAVING now- when we were sitting in their parking lot.

This is all fine - we are pragmatic people who can understand the rules (even though no one told us about this 5 minute grace period and WE made accommodations FOR THEM to get there at 11-note: this appointment was booked WEEKS earlier and they called us THIS week to change the time for the vet's vacation) but THE WAY woman started the call with "apparently you had an appointment but the doctor won't see you now bc she's leaving.threw in some snide laughs and ended the call with I'm ending the call now." I've never been so turned off by someone without having met them. Take your pets to a place that respects their customers.not here. Their bedside manner is trash.

We switched here after a not so great encounter with an emergency vet in our town. They have been nothing short of amazing. Everyone we have had the pleasure of meeting has been friendly, accommodating and understanding.

Not one to leave reviews. But I fell it is very well warrented. The staff at Hudson Veterinary are beyond amazing. I have been bringing my dog to Hudson Veterinary on a consistent and constant basis, due to my dog having severe allergies. Dr. LaVacca Is beyond amazing. She is attentive, knowledgeable, communicative, and never leaves me having questions.

She goes over everything you can possibly think of, and explains everything thoroughly and precise so you know what is going on and what is going to happen next. I wouldn't want anybody else to take care of my pet, as your pet couldn't be in more trusting hands. As for the rest of the staff. Any encounter I have had with any of the other staff has been perfect. Overall I have never experienced such a professional, knowledgeable, and caring practice/staff. Will 100% be a lifetime customer.

My cat ingested string and the vet instructed me to induce vomiting by giving hydrogen peroxide until he vomitted, well he vomitted eventually and wouldnt stop vomitting. He had to be admitted to the ER. I chose to go to Latham and not bring him to Hudson Vet Hospital. The ER/Critical Care Physician at Capital DIstrict Dr. Smith told me that hydrogen peroxide could be fatal to cats. $2500 later and an overnite stay at the hospital, and four medications for over a week, including one for Pneumonia and my cat is finally better. To say I received poor medical advise from Hudson Veterinary Hospital is an understatement.

My big guy is sometimes shy around new people & new places, but not here. I believe dogs are pretty good judges of character & Bear is putty in their hands. They give him so much love & he milks every second of it. One of the main things that sets them apart from other vets is the total transparency of any cost/medication/condition/test. Their communication is unmatched. Thank you for always taking such good care of my boy!

Recently moved to New York from SC. I was so happy to have sound a vet that is as caring, kind, and thorough as our previous is vet! Not to mention the price for each service was affordable and very similar to what we payed down south. I was pleasantly surprised by this, seeing as everything in NY cost 3-4x more then what we are used to.

They have taken excellent care of our aging cocker spaniel mix, including surgery. Very warm, efficient, and knowledgeable.can't ask for more than that! We also love their grooming services. Our pup loves to visit the groomers there and they are sensitive to his allergies (both food and environmental). Have not used their boarding services, but would imagine they are excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Current patients of this hospital recommended them to me as I am a new resident to the community. My dog is on prescription food so I made an appointment with more than enough time to get the prescription refilled and allow for time to get into their system as a new patient, given how busy vets are these days. 2 days before my appointment they called and asked to reschedule, which I accomodated.

On the day of my appointment I was running 5 mins late bc I forgot the fecal sample and they said no problem. After I checked in, I proceeded to sit in the parking lot for 20 minutes and no one came to check my dog in. I called again and it was clear they had forgotten I was there. After sitting on hold for a bit they came back and said they had an emergency and I would need to wait another 10 minutes.

I asked if it would really be 10 minutes or longer and they said it would likely be longer so probably better if I rescheduled. After failing to honor my appointment twice, I will definitely not be returning. If i can't trust them to even set up a basic check up, there's no way I will be trusting them with my pet's health in an emergency. If you are looking for a new vet, I recommend planning for one of the other vets in the area that has a longer waiting time, but hopefully is more professional.

I don't leave many reviews, but. I feel compelled to share the great experience I had at the Hudson Veterinary Hospital today. It's difficult to sum up the professionalism, courtesy and phenomenal customer service that the Hudson Veterinary Hospital displayed today. Long story short - I was in a real bind trying to find last minute daycare for my dog.

After being turned away by half dozen sitters and services (even after explaining my bind.) David and Chelsea at HVH said, "come on in, we'll help, no problem." And did they ever. Cannot offer enough praise and thanks to them.

Great place! I had a previous boarding plan fall through and they took my dog in with no issues. I will be using them again in the future. They took great care of my dog and she was genuinely happy to see them. That went a very long way. Great experience!

I brought my 2 month old German shepherd puppy here and I came with a couple of concerns and questions. The staff was able to get me an appointment faster than I thought and the doctor answered all of my questions and was very helpful.

Awesome people who love my dog! They meet you at the door to be proactive with covid. The spa area is nice and the doggy day cares prices are comparable to pets mart and pet Co but knowing my dog in the care of professionals gives me peace of mind. Flip says hi guys!

I would like to say we have been dealing with Hudson for four years now and never having an issue. The staff really cares about the dogs and customer service. I moved to White Plains a couple of years ago and I have a Vet down the street from my house. However it's because of there professionalism and genuine care that it is worth the drive up to Ossining to care for our dog. If anyone is thinking about finding a Bet for there dog this is the place.

Had my partner take my dog here - we are new dog parents! They are very communicative - I wasn't physically there but they called me to discuss my dog, get permission for shots and medication, etc. All things I would have to provide permission for. Thank you for taking care of Flip and making me feel comfortable as a new customer/dog owner!

I travel a lot and this is the only place I trust for boarding my pup. He gets quality care and I get friendly customer service. Highly recommend.

Had to leave on an emergency trip and needed to board my pup. Found this place and it was a terrible decision. Extremely rude lady at the front desk. Paid for two nights, a grooming / bath and nail clipping and two overpriced vaccinations. When i picked up my dog, he smelled terrible, was extremely skiddish and his nails Certainly weren't even touched.

For over a week after his stay, our dog refused to eat and was extremely lethargic. Have no Idea what went on during his stay but it was clearly not a good stay for him along with paying for a bath/grooming that probably wasn't even done. Extremely dissatisfied with their service.

The caregivers at the Hudson Veterinary Hospital Pet Resort and Spa took wonderful care of my two cats when I was away for a long weekend. This was my first time working with the HVH, and from the moment I met Sheena I felt comfortable leaving my furkids with her! They came home to me relaxed and beautifully brushed - I had asked Sheena to see if she could get my long-hair tabby to be still to remove some tangled fur on his belly, and she sent both of my kitties home with gleaming summer-thickness coats. The staff are true animal lovers! Highly recommend!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS VET! In over thirty years of taking my dogs and cats to vets, none have ever been so incompetent. Appointments are cancelled with an hour's notice. Vaccinations left my dog in so much pain she couldn't walk on her right hind leg for 12 hours. No follow up calls expressing concern were made. My cat was diagnosed with a mass that wasn't there.

A diagnosis of a swollen ear drum could not have been made because the ear drum was obscured by puss or a polyp. Tests were run that were not necessary. Tests that were necessary were not undertaken. Truly the worst vet I have ever had the misfortune of using.

They were very quick and effective, also one of the dozen that I've called who happened to be open and willing to take in pets during covid. Our visit went very smoothly, staff is very warm and welcoming. I will happily recommend this Clinique to anyone!

Baby DD just started using this place for her yearly shots a few days later I had to board her while I was away. She came home nice and shiny clean with a smile and not over weight! Thanking this office for being so kind over the phone and when they come out to pick up baby DD and bring her out to me. Because of Covid I have never been inside the office to see what it looks like or even meet the veterinarian, technicians, groomers or office staff but I feel safe and satisfied just from their professional positive voice over the phone for our communications. Im also happy to say that their prices are almost half the price of my previous vet in the next town over. Baby DD boards a lot so I'm feeling confident and comfortable that she will be staying here also close to home with friendly caring staff

I recently moved to the area, and I took my new kitten to Hudson Valley, with a load of questions, and they were very helpful and responsive. Great answers, and perfect service. Also, the price was an extremely good-deal (based upon other vets I have used in the past), so was pleasantly surprised. I will be taking all my cat-vet issues there in the future.

Dog had emergency surgery gallbladder by doctor Ainspan. The care and kindness he and the staff showed my dog and our family was exceptional! Thank you doctor and to all the staff at the hospital. I highly recommend this hospital for all your pet needs.

Absolute worst experience from Vet McGlinn! Been there for several years never met her & when my daughter dropped off our 8 pound puppy for a dental issue.the Vet without my consent took it upon herself to extract 13 teeth! She practically mutilated my poor dog! Her awful disclaimer was that she left a voice mail, never bothered to even speak with me! Will be filing charges with NYS Vet licensing.worst experience for my entire family!

Hudson Vet Hospital was able to see my cat right away. They used excellent covid 19 protocol. The cost was reasonable and the follow up thorough.

My cat was suffering from a urinary blockage, previously diagnosed by another vet. I was told from the previous facility I had no options and if I didn't spend a ridiculous amount of money, my animal would die. I stumbled upon Hudson Veterinary Hospital while looking for an alternative option. I called and they scheduled for me to be seen immediately.

I had a free consultation since I'd never been there before. They looked at my pet and gave me three options and price points for each, since this was being paid out of pocket. They were extremely compassionate, reasonably priced and had such empathy for our situation. Bob, our cat, did well with his procedure and will be coming home soon! I very much recommend this facility and I appreciate their patience and diligence.

Very friendly staff. It was very easy to make an appointment over the phone and I didn't have to wait a long time when I checked in to see a vet. I had my cat's blood drawn to test for FIV (which was recommended to me by the vet) and I got the results within two days which was very timely and convenient. I was very pleased overall with my experience. I live in Ossining to the location is great for any resident with pets that need a vet.

Amazing! Not from around the area and my dog was limping they took us right in and I had such a pleasant experience they were very nice and attentive and seemed more interested in the well being of my dog rather than the money. Oh and I had a pleasant surprise with the bill because it was our first time there and we got 80 dollars off our bill which was amazing who doesn't like saving as well as their reward point system! Great great great don't hesitate to take your fur baby here!

The doctor was wonderful. Very caring and was wonderful with my cat Stella. Highly recommend Hudson Veterinary. Prices were very reasonable and didn't take my arm and leg as payment! I give them 5 out of 5 stars. Definitely will go back

My puppy had been in desperate need of some playtime with other pups, but after having a bad experience at a different daycare place, I was afraid to bring him anywhere. I tried Hudson Vet on a whim and hoped for the best, and am so thrilled to say that in just a few weeks, my pup went from being scared to walk in the door to begging me to get in the car and running FROM me to go play with his pals!

I bring him one or two days a week and the staff always treats him like royalty, and I feel comforted to know that he's in good hands while he gets some exercise and socialization. I'm so appreciative of everyone here and how they care for the pets.

A kind, patient, compassionate staff that loves our doggy almost as much as we do. We regularly board our beloved lab "Annie", as well as use their veterinary services. Regular texts, pictures, and calls to update us on her stay/care/treatment plan are not uncommon- they truly do treat all of their patients and boarders with love and kindness.

They've done it again! This establishment and it's staff are AMAZING. They did their best to accommodate my babies grooming services due to recently expired vaccinations which were not up to date on their end. They were very patient with me trying to get the information over to them and once we figured out the vaccinations they stayed in touch with me even after I left the hospital, reassuring me that both my babies were doing just fine after being vaccinated and were going forward with the grooming. (Hospital is upstairs-Vet and Grooming is a level below) So convenient!

Thank you guys so so so much for understanding and doing your best at assisting us. Michelle is awesome as always, they both look spectacular. Kathy, thank you for your patience and lastly but not least, thank you to the male staff individual who stood late (25mins after closing) waiting for my arrival(I live about an hour away-YES it is WORTH the ride!) I love this place! Highly recommend.

Had a great first visit for my cats. The technicians were very friendly, patient and knowledgeable as was the doctor. The facility was clean and well maintained. I appreciated that there were no sales-type pitches considering my cats are both very healthy and didn't need anything more than an annual exam and vaccine booster.

My almost 12 yr.old pitbull had been receiving treatment for different health issues at this hospital. He was seen by three different vets there, but his preference was Dr. Christopher. She is a wonderful professional, very calm and caring person and unlike other vets she never showed she was afraid of him. She could check him out, give him shots without the need of a muzzle.

He was diagnosed with lymphoma this summer. One Friday morning, about a month later, he woke up with a big lump on his body that within 2 hours was double the size and extended all the way down to his paw. He was in distress and he couldn't walk. We decided to stop his suffering and put him to sleep. I called the HV Hospital and found out Dr. Cristopher was out of the country. Spoke with Dr D'Agnese who told me they were busy and that we would have to wait until the following Monday, meanwhile we should increase the medication he was taking at the time.

We were devastated with the lack of compassion demonstrated by this vet. I then called the Croton-on-Hudson Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Hoskins with his assistant came to our house two hours later checked him out and ended his suffering. It is still difficult for me how a vet can be so cruel.

My cat & I love this Vet! We have been coming here for almost 2 years and Dr. Joe is the best! My cat also gets groomed and the groomers are very professional and very attentive! He also left smelling great & super soft! Highly recommend!

I have been going to the veterinarians at Hudson Veterinary Hospital since I moved to Ossining in 2014. At first they cared for my cats, then cat and puppy, and now one cat and two dogs. The vets have been invariably informative, kind, and gracious with their time. Both my dogs are enrolled in the annual "package" which covers their basic vet costs for a year and has some discounts built in, which is nice because foe basic maintenance care I pay once and then can go as many times as I need throughout the year.

My cat is older and so I pay as I go for her, and besides she's less likely to need to go to the vet because she decided to eat a washcloth (true example. Puppy was fine.) I also board my dogs when needed there, and I elect to have them do 1/2 day group doggy play while they are there. This helps keep them socialized and it's like a little vacation for them as well.

I feel better knowing they are not in a cage all day, and they get lots of walks. There is someone on staff there 24/7. I consider them a trusted partner in my animals' care and would recommend them to anyone. My outgoing social dog thinks everyone at Hudson is her personal friend. The more shy one is into the free treats.
