Dogs' Best Friend

Thank you to Trish and the team at MBFKC for taking such good care of our pooch! Archie absolutely loves going every morning to day care and adores Trish. He cannot wait to see her and waits impatiently at the door with tail wagging. The service is excellent as is Trish. Everything is delivered to highest standard and very professional. We would like to give a special shout out to Trish, as she has always been respectful, super flexible, accommodating and understanding. Trish and the team have gone above and beyond to help us out, even at the last minute, really important when life throws those little curve balls, which happen a lot with a toddler and a second on the way!

Can't recommend Man's Best Friend enough. The service is fantastic, they really look after the dogs. It is an absolute peace of mind. Our cocker Spaniel loves Chloe and when she comes for his collection, he throws himself into her arms for cuddles. They truly understand how to run a business professionally and efficiently. Well done Emma and rest of the team. Thank you Chloe for helping us when we travel as well, tremendous help.

Chloe has been picking up my dogs for day care, over the last year. Rudy & Lottie adore her, she's always so cheerful and caring with them. I'm so lucky to have found Mans best friend, all the team are exceptionally. It's such a relief to have peace of mind that their getting lots of attention. Rudy and Lottie always come back tired, clean, happy doggies.

Man's Best Friend is an amazing safe haven for any dog, young or old, timid or extroverted. Emma is organised and extremely professional, as is her team. Most importantly, MBF is filled with LOVE where dogs get the attention and care they need. They are a close team who take the extra time to reassure, to listen, to advise and to cater to your dog's needs. Chloe has become part of our family and is an integral part of our life.

Five days a week, every week, she is always on time and shows up with a smile full of positivity and excitement for my dog. Mandy is nurturing and sweet which my dog can sense immediately. I highly recommend MBF!

Our little chi loves this puppy day care. He can't wait to be picked up and meet up with his 4 legged friends. The staff are amazing, warm and love the dogs. Trish is particularly wonderful and takes very good care of him when we are away.

Man's Best Friend are like part of the family! The whole team are a delight to deal with, but Otto and Tavish get particularly excited to rush out the door in the morning to greet Court and practically usher HER into the van. It makes being away from them so much easier knowing they're in good hands and having such a good time.

This is in my opinion the best. All the personnel are dedicated and kind but I do have to single out Mandy Payne who I sometimes think it secretly Scout's best friend (and not me). Scout adores her. Mandy simply puts the dogs in her care first, she is attentive, fun, reliable and has tons of energy (especially for endlessly throwing the ball to my obsessive cocker spaniel) - really the best.

Mans Best Friend Kensington & Chelsea Doggy Daycare is beyond brilliant. I have been bragging at the local dog park about Emma and her amazing team of doggy carers! My little frenchie "lulu" has been attending since she was 4 months old - it has helped her so much in terms of socialisation, positive behaviours, and stimulation! Jake is her favourite human who collects her and brings her home each day & who she goes to for cuddles as often as possible! Highly recommend this daycare (& I did a ton of research & trials before I chose these super dog heroes!).

My little girl Poppy has been going to daycare for several months now. It is her absolute favourite place in the world. I remember when I first put her in the crate in the little van - it was very traumatic for the both of us but Emma assured me it would be ok. Now Poppy sits and stares out of the window in the morning waiting for the van to arrive, runs as far as she can to give Chloe kisses, and practically jumps into the crate ready to go.

The team at Man's best friend truly love dogs. I feel so at ease when Poppy is there. They are also experts and day care has really helped with some of Poppy's behaviour issues (she is a rescue!) Big shout out to Chloe who picks Poppy up every day - I truly think Poppy loves Chloe more than her us. I can not even say her name without Poppy starting to bark Another shout out to Claire who watched Poppy for 10 days while we were away. Claire brought her to the beach and let her sleep in her bed. She sent me photos everyday with updates, and came home looking happy and rested. Best staycation ever I cannot recommend Man's best friend enough.

We couldn't recommend MBFKC highly enough! From our first contact they have been professional, competent and approachable, always ensuring our needs are met and our pup is well taken care of. Special shout out to Trish, who does the pick up and drop offs for us who has gone the extra mile to ensure she has bonded with our girl, who just adores her.

And also to Claire, who looked after our pup for two weeks while we were away. We were confident we were leaving our pet in the best care and we did. A happy, relaxed and healthy dog returned home, who had obviously had a good holiday herself!

Mans best friend is honestly the best doggy day care! Our cocker spaniel absolutely loves going to spend the best day with his doggy pals and best best human friends Claire & Jake! He somehow always knows when its daycare day - he waits eagerly by the window and as soon as he hears the van coming to pick him up he runs to the door and jumps into their arms.

It's obvious that Emma and her team love dogs and are so passionate about what they do. Besides knowing that he is being well looked after we also love that they won't grow larger than a specific human to dog ratio, despite the huge demand to enrol We also love that you can check in your puppy's day at any time on their Instagram. We couldn't speak more highly of MBF, our dog absolutely loves Claire & Jake and is always excited to go. He also comes back completely exhausted after all his fun at school - it's an easy 5* rating and we would recommend it to anyone!

My dachshund Eloise started going to Man's Best Friend two months ago and she is so much happier now as a result! She runs, she plays, but most of all she loves the staff, who take such excellent care of her. Chloe is her favourite human at Man's Best Friend and is always excited in the morning when she comes to collect her! Thank goodness for Chloe and Man's Best Friend!

This is Oliver. I've taken the phone from my mum (okay, fine, she's typing for me, but only as I don't have thumbs!). I couldn't wait to tell everyone how much I love camp (daycare) at man's best friend! We have the best time when I go. My mum was SO worried if I'd be safe and happy, but I think it's been so good for my development and I love that so many of my neighborhood friends go too!

Miss Trish normally picks me up - she's the best! She's so sweet and cuddly and I like to think that I'm her favorite! Mum also says it's nice that she gets to see my photos on Instagram during the day. I'm usually running around and having the best time, but the gang makes sure I eat my breakfast and all the other special requests that my mum sometimes has so she feels comfortable. I love my friends at mans best friend!

Super happy with Man's Best Friend KC and my dog loves her day there. I'd recommend it to anyone. All the staff I've met are lovely. Also big shout out to Trish and Anoushka for pickup and drop-off planning, and Courtney for always being so positive about my naughty puppy

After one day in daycare, my extremely healthy dog came home chronically dehydrated and spent the next 12 hours vomiting and defecating. Was told he didn't eat anything, but am currently at the vet waiting for a report. Unfortunately cannot recommend.

I should have written a review years ago. I've been bringing my Dog here for years, and he absolutely LOVES it. Starts wining in excitement on the car ride, then starts really getting excited once we turn on Pinehurst Ave. Wish I could post a video. I can't recommend Dogs Best Friend enough! Bruce and his staff are wonderful!

8 moves. 6 states. This is the best group of people I have ever trusted my pups with! Loving caretakers, wonderful grooming, responsive owner! They have great hours and were very flexible with me when unexpected travel came up. Extremely satisfied with both day care and boarding. People make the difference when I look for a place, and these folks are the absolute best!

I recently started taking my gsd puppy here for daycare and he loves it! He gets excited to get in my car to come here. The staff who work here are so sweet and have showed me videos of him playing and have nothing but nice things to say. I feel very happy knowing he is making friends and having fun rather than being crated all day.

Thank you to each and one of you! Our babies couldn't be in better hands! Love that Zoey's little bum bum still shakes with excitement to go inside the doors @ Dogs Best Friend! This is Zoey's 3rd year attending daycare. We have also boarded her several times and couldn't be happier with the accommodatiots my Zoey gets.the staff is amazing!

After several unsuccessful trips to the groomers for my rescued yellow lab Lucy, I decided to try Dogs Best Friend. Emily is fantastic and does such a wonderful job! Lucy is definitely a nervous dog, she was rescued from an abusive situation. Emily was so gentle with her on her first meeting and even took the time to walk her in order to help calm her down and decompress before taking her inside. She is definitely "The Dog Whisperer". As far as groomers go, Dogs Best Friend is second to none. Give them a try and ask for Emily!

I do bring my poodle to dogs best friend and always feel like my furry friend is safe and cared for. I would like more info on his stay, like if he played w others or his eating habits. The last time I picked up my dog, there was no left over food which was surprising because i had about 2 days worth of food for only an overnight stay. I asked about that, and was told he had no left over food. It seemed peculiar, but that wouldn't stop me from bringing him there again. I'll just have just enough portions for his stay I guess.

This establish deserves zero stars. We are reporting to PETA, ASPCA and the local law enforcement agency. We dropped off our 8 month old blue tick coonhound. He was healthy and happy. We picked him up almost four weeks later and he was a bag of bones. His rib cage, spine and hips were protruding. His skin is dry and flaky with sores. He smells of urine and feces.

We complained and they said our dog was just too active. That's why he was so skinny. We received no phone call to this issue while we were away. They just let his health decline. The owner just refunded our bill. Our dog is lethargic and in pain. Seemingly, if we left him any longer at this kennel he probably would've died. I have attached pictures from before he stayed with the kennel to when we picked him up.

Love this place! They have great staff, always accommodating my last minute travels and Luna loves playing with all the dogs here! Hands down the best place in town!

I would put 0 stars if I could! Don't bring your dog here unless you want them to be stuck in a cage all day. Asked for a tour and found out the dogs don't even poop/pee in peace! They lock them up outside in a cage & it's on fake grass! If you love your fur baby, DONT BRING THEM TO DOGS BESTFRIEND! Owner was extremely rude when I told him it wasn't going to be the perfect fit for my puppy. He told me "good luck finding anyone better." Save your time and money.

I took my dog here several times. It was the first kennel/groomer I found when we moved to Southern Pines. My dog generally has no problem going places. He is extremely friendly and things rarely upset him. One time I took him there to stay a few days and he had a huge cut on his nose when I picked him up. No explanation or anything from staff. He was very sad and it took him a few hours to come out of this funk. Took him there again and once more he came home extremely nervous/sad.

I told them the next time to keep him separated from other dogs if they can, and they ignored me. The staff was pretty unfriendly. I felt like I was merely a transaction. It was awkward and no one was ever overly eager to help customers out front. I decided to post this because since then, we have tried other places. Our experiences have been GREAT and my dog has no issues. This only confirms that I wasn't imagining how bad of an experience this was.

Just took my two dogs in today to get washed and nails clipped. Never been before and was recommended. Turns out this place is super clean, they do everything you need here for a great price. I asked for a tour and the lady was great on showing me how they accommodate each dog per personality and all that. Which means- you can have a crazy dog and he'll be fine! Dogs came out happy, clipped(even though my older one is a pain in the ass with nails), and clean! I will be taking them there a few days out of month just to get them some more social time! And get them used to facility when the hubs and I go out of town!

Took my black lab here for the first time this week for a bath and de-shed. Every part of the experience was good. The price was much less than I thought it would be. Met the owner Bruce, and the groomer. This is a very well run business.

Reason for visit: doggy day care and got bath I have been coming here often on for the last two and half years. I can say that the staff of always been friendly, the prices are reasonable, and I cannot recall a single complaint during a visit or overnight stay. I'm not an expert but that makes a happy customer and a happy dog. My dog comes out of here exhausted and happy. Is not rushing to get water nor does he smell funny. Those are good signs to me. Also when he gets groomed, comes back smelling great, a bandanna which is cute. Class act service, convenient location, prices are worth it.

My dogs stayed here over the holidays. We will not be coming back! The placed reached of urine and my dog caught kennel cough while there.
