Sharon is our Operations and Office Manager. She, like all of our primary team, has completed many hours of continuing education in pet care, pet first aid, and CPR. She has been taking care of our guests here for over 20 years. She has hand-raised everything from baby deer, squirrels and raccoon, to abandoned baby rabbits while working here. Her two dogs, Tinkie and Onyx, spend lots of time with us here. When she's not working, Sharon loves hunting, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her daughter and her 3 grandbabies.

Originally located on Quail Roost Farm, we designed and built our present, state-of-the-art dog kennel and cattery in 1992. Our 16,000 square-foot pet care facility provides clean, safe and spacious comfort for your dogs and cats in a country atmosphere. Or facility includes a 4,000 square foot atrium area, perfect for exercising your dogs in the fresh country air or just letting them take in some outside time, relaxing on the soft grass. The Studios at Pet's Companion Inn offer extra luxury in dog boarding for folks who want a more "home like" or hotel atmosphere for their pets.
Designed for comfortable and relaxing dog boarding, each studio features a different decor, and includes a TV where movies such as"101 Dalmatians" and "Homeward Bound" are played. Soothing music plays throughout as well. I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much we have appreciated the wonderful care our pets have received at Pets.
Our townhouse offers extra space and is perfect for two or three cats from the same home. Each guest has their own snuggle bed for relaxing and is free to roam the five levels of platforms-it's like a private high-rise for your cats. I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much we have appreciated the wonderful care our pets have received at Pets.

I have taken my two fur babies here a couple of times and we have had wonderful experiences both times! My dogs were well cared for, the staff was open and caring to both them and myself, especially when it came to leaving them for the first time! They're great at answering the phone and giving updates. 10/10 would recommend!

Thanksgiving plans couldn't bring my baby so I came to these guys. Very friendly on the drop off and pick up. Extremely helpful over the phone. They even offered my baby Thanksgiving meal treats. Doesn't feel like I just dropped her off at a boarding place, it felt like I dropped her off with friends. Great job.

If you need to board your dog and live near RDU, go to Pet's Companion Inn. We can't imagine letting anyone else take care of our dog when we need to head out of town. Be sure to request a studio, don't know about you, but it means a lot to know our dog is in a comfortable space and not just a kennel when we have to board him. (Although, he may not care as much-seems perfectly chipper enough when we pick him up when a Studio hasn't been available.) I've said this before, but professional and caring is what you expect from pet boarding. The fact that our dog is excited to see his "vacation family" when we drop him off is a clear sign that Gwen and her Pet's Companion Inn crew are going above and beyond.
