Our shop no longer offers cat grooming. Kristy Pantermakis owns and operates Ooh La La Pet Spa. She was trained through Petsmart and has been professionally grooming all breeds of dogs for 14 years. We opened our doors in April 2004 and still are going strong. Thank you to each of our great customers! We have three other professional groomers that are wonderful!
Services
Unlike hair salons where appointments are scheduled throughout the day, dogs being groomed do better on a more relaxed schedule. Trying to rush a dog through the entire grooming process in a hour or so would be detrimental to the dog's state of mind & more physically challenging. A calm atmosphere & plenty of time for each dog is essential.

My precious Shih Tzu detests the groomers and is a literal nightmare when he gets his fur cut; somehow, the people here can handle him. First groomer I've found that can keep him in hand!

I was so upset when I picked up my dog from the spa. She was supposed to have a bath with her own shampoo, which is Rx, and that was not done. My dog was not given what I scheduled her for, which was a bath, clipped nails, and ears cleaned. The spa called me to pick up Graceland at 1:14 pm. She was dropped off at 12 noon. She weighs 98 pounds and there is no way she could have been bathed and dried in an hour and 14 minutes. She didn't smell like her shampoo and she didn't have a wet spot on her. Never will I go back again. Poor Service.

I've been going to Ooh La La for ten years. In that time, they've revolutionized the way that I take care of my dog and his fur. Ten years ago, when I brought my collie in, his fur was extremely matted. The groomers stressed the importance of up-keeping and combing dog-fur between visits -- often, ear infections, sores, and worse hide underneath matts that easily form in long fur.

The discovery of such often sends dogs to the vet after a visit to the groomer. Neglect on behalf of dog-owners to a fur coat is, therefore, detrimental to canine's medical wellbeing. The expertise of groomers can only go so far. Since my first visit almost a decade ago, I've learned so much about properly maintaining my dog's fur. Ooh La La gives him a beautiful cut, bath, and even a cute bandana each time, at an affordable rate with wonderful customer service!

All I have to do is make sure his fur is nice a smooth before each visit -- the bare minimum that's a responsibility for each dog owner, especially people who own dogs with long fur. They're the only groomer I'll trust Ollie with.

Critical: Quality This was the first time I took my puppy for a grooming. They hurt his ears and it required a vet visit and a $170 bill for medication. They scalped his bum which also required medication. Don't take your dog here.

This is an awesome place with wonderful friendly staff! I h.c ave been taking my little guy there for MANY years and have had NO problems what so ever. They have even brought to my attention something I needed to see a vet about that I would have missed. They care about our pets and will not hesitate to tell you if there is a problem or if it is unsafe to groom your dog at that time.

These people are experts in there field. I trust them and believe me I'm picky when it comes to my baby. I was a witness to something this morning that upset me a customer was told they would not groom her dog because of incredibly horrible mats. It was explained it would hurt her dog. Sad her dog had to be in that condition in the first place so shame on you.

This person decided to go a route in her complaint about discrimination against her personally, again shame on you! They were nothing but kind and honest and tried to comfort you. Maybe you need to re-evaluate.

A year after taking our 11lb, 1 year old Shih tzu to this place, we're still dealing with trauma to whatever happened there for a standard grooming service. We STILL can't get near his paws with clippers to trim his claws even though we had no problems at home prior to this visit. Something happened here and it was definitely noticed when my wife was contacted, demanding to pick him up.

We were even charged a handling fee and warned not to bring him back unless prescribed a doggie Xanax. Seriously? This dog was not even a year old, completely harmless, and very tame. F*** this place.

Called at 9:49 and was able to walk in for a nail trim by 10:30. Same price as Pet Smart but only 5 miles from our house. Friendly staff and quick service. Plus we get to support local businesses.
