Paw Planet

Ordered two dog beds on 31st March 2022. Received order number and confirmation. Still not received either bed. Three emails to Company using their Contact Us page, no response. Will keep trying but don't hold out much hope.

The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. The selection of products are great. I don't understand the bad reviews, they seem to be confusing it with another store outside the US.

I am extremely disappointed with this "fake" business. I ordered a small service dog collar for my working dog. What I received was a collar what could fit a horse. This is very disappoint as I am a Veteran and have been waiting for a new collar for the past few weeks now. After trying to contact this "fake" place i soon found out they have no contact number only email. BE AWARE OF THIS BUSINESS Again extremely disappointed in this business as they say their from Australia when clearly they are not. Their website shows a lovely family work photo, don't believe what you see. A company this big would have a contact number.

Critical: Responsiveness Ordered a dog bed from Paw planet and not received a response chasing them for an update on expected delivery. Despite them saying 'all orders aim to be delivered in 10 days' it's now been 13 and no communication.

Kristen and Janice are top notch. I've been going to Paw Planet for over 12 years. It started with Puppy Kindergarten and it continues today. Not only to purchase dog food, but for solid advice any time I had an issue with my dog. They are a tremendous help and asset to any dog owner. Highly recommend!

My first visit to Paw Planet was 11/16 for obedience classes. I was very pleased with the instructors honesty at what I'm doing wrong, and how to change it, and her genuine concern for wanting my husband and I to train our Yorkie for his safety & well being, so I was happy to sign up for the other two classes.

My husband and I brought our dog Holley here for a few private training sessions with Janice because our dog was very high energy and could not walk on a leash and would barrel jump onto anyone and everyone. We learned so much about training in just a few lessons and Holley began to jump less! We were so impressed with this local trainer we decided to sign up for the basic training course with Kristen at paw planet.

We loved the basic training course and we're able to train our wild puppy to continue to be just that but much more well behaved! With the tips and tricks from these wonderful trainers our dog is now able to go on walks with us (without pulling) and she does not jump on people to greet them anymore! Kristen and Janice you are both great trainers and people and we are so thankful to have found paw planet

We recently adopted a rescue puppy and since he is our family's first dog we needed some help with training so we enrolled him in puppy kindergarten. Kristin and her team are AMAZING! She gives great tips and trouble shooting advice on how to best adjust your furry friend to their new home. The class was reasonably priced and a great experience overall. I would recommend her classes to anyone!

Through my experience, this has been a great place to get dog supplies as the selection is good, prices are decent for a local shop, and the staff and trainers are very friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for any sort of dog training, I would highly recommend Paw Planet. The trainers are very knowledgable and the training itself is informative and fun.

My experience: My girlfriend and I signed up for Basic Obedience 1 with her 6 month old mix breed. She insisted that she wanted formal training, whereas I didn't want to spend the money at first, as I was convinced we could do the training ourselves. She convinced me to try it, and I'm glad she did. Like with most things, you get results out of dog training equal to the amount of effort you put in.

The course motivated us to go home and actually enforce training techniques that we otherwise wouldn't have known, and the trainers became a source for questions and problems that we were having. The course enjoyable to attend and easy to ask questions in. The classes are also small, which is nice. As I mentioned, at first i was skeptical, but results don't lie and there's so much to learn that many of us don't even think about. If you're thinking of formal training for your dog or trying to solve a specific problem, I'd definitely give Paw Planet a call.

We've been coming to Paw Planet for pet food, supplies, and training for several years. Always great service by the owners and the staff alike. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about pet food, training, etc. and they care about their customers. It is a level of care and knowledge that you will not find in a big box store like Petsmart or Petco.

Several reviewers here have mentioned those big box stores. Of course they are cheaper because they buy in such massive quantities! That's basic economics! But I disagree that Paw Planet is only good for an emergency stop. Quite the opposite. Shop here and support your local businesses. If not, one day all of your choices will only be Petsmart and Petco.

I do not have a dog, but am in the process of adopting one. I walked into Paw Planet to look at pet supplies (crates, bowls, leashes) and was pleasantly surprised to see that they offer training in the back of the store. The store was very clean and well-stocked, but things looked over-priced compared to big stores like PetSmart or PetCo. Not a deal-breaker because I'm all for supporting small, locally owned stores (the mom and pops, so to speak); so paying more for excellent service is well worth it.

My problem with the store was that I was greeted by a woman who seemed bothered that I was even there at all. When I inquired about training, I just got vague answers. I had to ask for a business card because there were none on the counter. No information was offered, no pleasantries, no reason to come back to the store. I understand having a bad day, but when I worked in customer service, the first and most important part of my job was engaging the customer and being nice (even if you don't want to be) because your paycheck depends on it.

First impressions are everything (that's why even chain restaurants ask if you've been there before: they want you to come back!). Paw Planet just gave me a bad impression. Two stars because it was very clean and organized, and maybe the employee had a bad day.

We cannot say enough about how lucky we were to enroll our puppy Molly in the kindergarten class. Kristen has been such an interesting, entertaining and informative teacher and has taught us how to understand dogs "view " of the world. The store is well stocked with quality products and the staff and owners could not be nicer. Maybe the prices are a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Solid 3 star pet store. Very convenient, organized, and easy to get in and out of, yet EXTREMELY overpriced and not worth visiting, especially for me, as I have 3 Petsmarts and 3 Petco's within 10 minutes of my home, but I guess it could be an ok place to stop if it's an emergency pet need. Dogs are allowed in the store, and there is a large area in back for something (pet grooming or just running around possibly?). Anyway, overall, interesting little store, only useful for emergency and convenience purposes, otherwise make the 10 minute trip up Rt. 146 to Petsmart in Millbury. They are much more reasonable and are a much larger store (not just for dogs.) 3 stars.

Our 2 Labrador Retriever puppies took part in Puppy Kindergarten 1, and 2. Training was thorough and professional. Best of all, all dogs and owners had fun. I have continued to buy pet supplies through Paw Planet and have been impressed with the store's mission to provide quality products, from toys to outerwear reflective jackets! They are a step above the chain pet stores. I highly recommend Paw Planet for training and supplies!

What a great wealth of knowledge, and desire to help this company provides. I got Janice on the phone with an issue with my dog. She help me with all my needs. I give them 5 stars. Thanks again for the guidance and caring!

I love going to Paw Planet for my pets needs. Janice and Kristen are super helpful and welcoming when I stop in. The training classes are great there as well. I have taken both of my dogs there.

We have been buying our canine/feline food from Paw Planet for a few years now. From the first conversation I had with Janice and Kristen, I recognized there intention was to raise the standard in the region for quality dog/cat food and training. I believe they have succeeded in that endeavor. I now have my Doberman puppy enrolled in obedience classes.

I value and appreciate Janice in her level of commitment and dedication to both her canine students and the humans on the other side of the leash. As a former high school teacher and college instructor, I'm also greatly impressed with her ability to teach TWO species at the same time.
