Paws For Applause

I had a horrible experience at paws for applause. I just picked up my dog after 8 hours, and they informed me when he was ready that they didn't have enough to cut him. Then the owner went on to say that it was $185 for the appointment, and all they did was brush and give my dog a bath. My dog is 30lbs too! The main reason I went in the first place was to have my dogs hair cut! Unacceptable. Every other dog grooming place charges around $75 at most for a bath.

I've been coming here for almost 2 years and they do an amazing job with my shih tzu! He leaves there looking like a show dog

Grooming of my cat was Ok but the first time it was $100 and without notice the second and last time it was $140. It's hard to find a cat groomer but there are some that are much cheaper. There was really nothing special about the grooming to cause it to be so expensive. Not going back!

They're so talented there! They pay attention to details which is rare nowadays! They were also very accommodating and understanding of my last minute schedule change. Highly recommend!

This place is INCREDIBLE! The staff are loving, passionate, gentle and my dog always COMES BACK CLEAN. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE WHO LOVES THERE DOG. They provided helpful information for my dog. THANK YOU TOO THE STAFF I FINALLY CAN TRUST TO DROP MY DOG OFF AND KNOW he will be taken care of and cleaned properly.

We had a terrible experience at paws for applause. The person who I made the appointment with (the owner) wasn't even there at my scheduled appointment. I was told she was running an errand and to leave my pet. 4 hours later I called and they still hadn't gotten to my pet. They told me another hour. My pet has been to one groomer before and it only took an hour.

They called again later and told me a time to pick her up. When I got there they said they still weren't done and that my pet attacked two workers. My pet never had any issues with people, children, vets or groomers before. She has also never been away from home for the entire day. When we finally got her she was frightened and hardly any of her fur had been trimmed. We were completely overcharged for the amount of grooming that had been done and the fact that it took the entire day to accomplish it. We won't be returning.

The woman how groomed my 2 buddies yesterday did a incredible job. My 2 were there for almost 9 hours it was a rough winter for them. This woman despite being alone smiled a did a great job in a customer for life.imagine she was apologizing to me for taking so long. THANK YOU.

Linda did an amazing job grooming my dog. I keep him in a traditional cut and it is hard to find someone who knows what they are doing. Most importantly I could tell my dog was treated well and was comfortable with her.

Linda is great!and also the staff all around great people.and they know wat they're doing!

I've been with Paws for Applause for years. Linda is a Master Groomer and dogs leave her shop looking like show dogs. My dog was a matted mess and I had tried other places but Lindas place was the only one who would take her. She came out looking like a new dog and her staff has always been loving to my different animals over the yrs. I've referred many people to Paws and they have all remained as regular customers.

Whatever your animal needs are Linda and her staff will go out of their way to accommodate you. They've even picked up and delivered my dog when she got skunked and I was apprehensive about putting her in my car for fear of the smell lingering forever! I wouldn't go anywhere else!

MY DOG GOT LOOSE AND CROSSED ROUTE 1! DO NOT GO HERE! Today we brought our golden retriever Emma to get groomed and she got through their broken fence and CROSSED ROUTE 1! Yes, that is correct, both sides of Route 1 at 1:30 on a Monday afternoon. I might be crazy but isn't rule number one for a groomer making sure that our pets are safe and secure!

My wife and I got a random call from a fantastic and kind gentlemen that stopped his truck and rescued her (after almost hitting her). THANK GOD for this guy. Our adrenaline was out of control and we were both getting choked up. Needless to say, we will NEVER, EVER, EVER go back to this place. By the way, I would have given this place zero stars but Yelp apparently doesn't allow such a low rating.

We've been taking our cat Ms. Kitty to Linda for about nine years. She was the only groomer we could find that was willing to give her a bath which as you can imagine can be quite challenging especially if her long fur is matted. She has always done a thorough job on her and she comes home looking, feeling and smelling so nice. Thanks Linda and staff for doing such a nice job on Ms. Kitty while being as patient and gentle as you possibly can! I know she can be hard to work with and we appreciate all of your help over the years!

I relied on linda for 6 years to groom my dog each month when i lived in the area. i moved out for 17 years, came back to the area and contact linda to groom my 2 dogs. she remembered me and my dog. it was so comforting. they are at her shop right now and i can not tell you how at ease i feel. i know she will love my boy and girl and more important i know she will take care of them. SOOOOOO glad i found her again. thank you Linda and Staff.

I took my cat to Linda for many, many years and have ALWAYS been happy with her service. Cinnamon was NOT a fan of bath time and could get quite fiesty. Linda and her staff always handled her with kindness and patience - and Cinny always came home looking and smelling like the princess she was. Unfortunately, Cinnamon passed away last year, but I highly recommend Linda to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable and kind groomer!
