I wanted to bring my puppy here after reading all the amazing reviews. I was always super scared for his first cut because I was scared they would do the opposite of what I asked for and that is exactly what happened here. I asked for a teddy bear cut, a teddy bear cut is characterized by a round face. I showed pictures and explained exactly what I wanted.
Even brushing my puppy regularly he had some matting and they cut him low, which I am fine with I instructed the groomer to use her judgement. My issue is with his face, I asked for a teddy bear cut not for them to cut his face. It's so sad because I'm not sure how much more you can explain what you want besides showing reference pictures and explaining thoroughly what you want.
And I still got the opposite of what I asked for. His hair was long enough on his face to shape it like the teddy bear cut is supposed to look. There's nothing that can be done at this point it's just so disappointing because I was looking forward to going here after all the great reviews. I've been coming to Pedigree Pet Spa for a while now, so I'd consider myself a "loyal customer." However, after today I won't be returning. I ran into a family emergency this morning and had to cancel an appointment for my dog and received the nastiest customer service because of it. That just goes to show you which companies only care about the $$$.
There have been times in the past where I'll drop my dog off around 10 am, and he's not ready until almost 6 pm. I've never once complained about that either! If that's the case, what's the point of a scheduled appointment? When I reached out to Pedigree, they were so nasty and unpleasant because of the emergency and couldn't accommodate me. We're still in the middle of a pandemic, and emergencies happen.
The lack of empathy shown to me, a customer giving my money to this establishment for over a year, was/is heartbreaking. While I understand that me having to cancel now put them at a loss for a grooming session today, I was willing to make it up by simply rescheduling for ANY day that worked on their end. Instead, I'm subjected to a cancellation fee.
Maybe I should've given them a few for "if you have scheduled slots for grooming, why does it take a whole workday to get my dog groomed?" But no. Also, per the owners response to me (and others), she's combative. The business overall lacks accountability and professionalism. Never once did I yell to the receptionist but only asked her q's and let her know I would no longer be coming back. Also, the emergency was not my son not able to come w me.
I also only asked about Saturday but mentioned I was okay with waiting weeks out because of my cancellation instead; I was hung up! As mentioned in my review, I've been here many times, and he's always joined because you guys provide curbside pickup. I will continue to advocate for small businesses, but I cannot when they are like this.

I was having so much trouble cutting my dog's nails, he wouldn't stay still and would always fight me. He also has black nails making them very hard to trim properly. The staff at pedigree took us as a walk in and did an amazing job. My dog made it very difficult with every nail that was clipped but the staff was cool and calm and handled the situation very well. Two staff members did an amazing job and I'm still not sure how they were able to get it done but I am so relieved and very appreciative. Thank you!

Steer clear! Never told me of curbside but had no problem taking a deposit. when we arrived kids were inside sitting on the floor.,. Was told 3 hours for both dogs.called at 3 1/2 and was told they were busy and I have two dogs and they didn't know when they would be ready. Finally 5 hours later they were done. Our fur baby with anxiety was leashed and brought out right Away but our friendly he loves everyone baby was still inside.took another 15 minutes off standing outside for them to show with him and he was clearly upset which is not his nature.
I will never bring our babies back there and I forgot to mention how close they were shaved in some areas which they are quite uncomfortable.if I were allowed to give zero stars I would have

I had told them that my puppy is rumbustious and if they can handle a high energy dog. I was told it would be ok and they are very capable of handling high energy dog. I needed my puppy's nails to be trimmed. They charged me extra because I was told that my dog feisty and they needed two people to do the job.

So cute! It was easy to make an appointment. My husband brought my dog in. He said that he handed her off to a staff who came out to the door to get her. We're not sure if that was due to COVID or what, but it wasn't a problem. Rinii came back smelling great and had a cute, short cut with a bow and bandana. Will be going back!

I had the worst experience here with my puppy, it was his first grooming/haircut ever. His appointment was for 12, no updates were given throughout the day and they kept him there until 4:45 PM with no food, no water, no bathroom breaks and in a cage the entire time. The inside of his ears are red because they treated him so roughly, the lady cutting his hair manhandled him so hard that she was almost choking him.
The people working here were so rude when we were just trying to make sure our puppy was safe and well taken care of, especially since he is so young. They also did not take card for an almost $75 grooming. I will never be taking my puppy here again and no one else should either. My puppy is very excited and happy, he was traumatized when he got home and wouldn't interact with any of us.
This place is not worth the trouble of leaving your poor dog there for hours on end with no proper care, especially since they claim they are a spa. The person who admitted my dog was a young girl, extremely unprofessional service. I brought my dog here in the first place because one of my friends recommended it, and instead of taking responsibility for poor treatment and rough handling and apologizing, I'm sure the owner will be responding to me in the same nasty way she has responded to all the other bad reviews---which I'm not surprised are there for a reason.
Do not take your dog here, the few good reviews are not enough to justify the best possible care for your dog. Maybe this is what I get for putting my puppy in the hands of a Trump supporter.

I have been bringing my dogs Pedigree Pet Spa on a regular basis for upwards of 15+ years. In that time I have had 4 different dogs who aged over the years. I have also brought in dogs from an animal shelter I managed as well as a rescued dog from Cozumel. These shelter/rescue dogs had never been to a groomer before, were taken extra special care of by these folks, and their new appearance enhanced their adoptability.
I just brought my current dog home from being groomed today and she was done perfectly and with the same care and quality that I have come to expect from Erica and her staff. I certainly have many choices as to where I could go for pet grooming; but, I will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend Pedigree even in these challenging times with restrictions being placed on groomers due to covid.
They just do a terrific job! Also know that Erica and Sam have rescued their own dogs and it certainly seems to me that they treat their clients dogs with the same care and compassion as if they were their own.

It is the best pet spa we have ever been to. We had McCoy for 13 years, so there's that. None of his Petsmart destinations can measure. Now we have Mona and we've been to three spas and this one is hands down the best. A month ago The staff called because of Covid closures to reschedule. Then they called the night before in case you forgot or want to cancel.
In addition, they have curbside pickup and dropoff. They not onlyy care about your pet they care about you too. They cut her hair and nails, they bathe and anal excreted her and brushed her teeth all for one price. Better than box store (Petsmart and Petco) and other neighborhood pet groomers. This independent owned and operated groomer is what Mona needed. she deserves some quiet time. We book early. It's truly a popular place. We love

Took my 16 year old Maltese - Maxie - this morning for a grooming. No one else would take her because she's so fragile. Everyone at Pedigree Pet Spa was caring - gentle and accommodating - taking her first thing In the morning so she wouldn't be scared or stressed with other dogs and be given their full attention. Thanks - she looks and feels amazing. So happy we came in and we already made her next appointment!

After using such places like Petco or Petsmart for grooming and reading all the stories about injured Pats I needed to find a groomer that I thought I could trust after some research I found this place upon first appearance it may seem small but the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable you can see all the dogs they're working on nothing is hidden the results my dogs look fantastic and they actually look forward to going into the groomers pulling me through the door they're not the easiest to groom sometimes they nip at the groomer has him toldThey never have any trimmer Burns red Bellys ear infections aren't anything after I started using them. My groomer of choice is Samantha she does a fantastic job and works with your schedule if for nothing else I would return just to have her work on my dogs!

I've been taking my Persian here for a year now. He always gets a bath and a trim. Every time he comes home, he smells really nice and snuggleable. They offer a small discount if you pay in cash. It seems like a decent place. As far as I know, they are always kind to my kitty. The only downside is the owner's dog barks a lot, and that might have upset my cat. He was stress-shedding a little bit when I took him home.

My 3rd attempt to frequent this establishment turned me sour. They do not answer their phones often, but when I finally got threw to make and appt, I was fine until I had to change plans. No one responded and they want to charge me for not showing when I tried calling to cancel/change. Sorry but not my fault you don't answer your phones or voicemail.

I absolutely adore Pedigree Pet Spa. They always treat my pupper like their own. Their prices are reasonable and their quality is great. My Cookie always gets a great haircut here. The best part is that they don't cage dogs before/after grooming as long as they are playing well with others. I would highly recommend!

The work they do is great the customer loyalty Sucks, we miss a few appointments, so they wouldnt take my dog after years of coming to this place. I will not longer be coming here, they wanted to charge us for the missing appoitment, the lady I spoke to got really mad and hang up on me when I ask her why would I pay you for a work you didn't do.very unprofessional I hope that was not the owner.
