They were about to close but I was here from out of town. My dog had hurt himself and they waited for me and treated my dog.

I absolutely love Dr. Thompson, Dr. Gilvarry, and all of the staff at Bridgemill Animal Hospital! They have always taken excellent care of my babies Poe, Meeko, and Tango. Spay/neutering, monthly grooming appointments, allergy treatments, checkups, and annual vaccinations - they do it all AND do it well. Their prices are also fair for the high quality services they provide. Highly recommend! I won't go anywhere else.

Very caring staff, immaculate facility, very accommodating. I take my 17 year old Golden here for grooming because I know the groomer is very knowledgeable how to be gentle and kind to my girl. She understands that my Daisy has limited vision and hearing so she understands small, slow handling is a must so Daisy does not get scared.

I've been boarding my dogs here for years and until today I've been very satisfied. Today I was attempting to board a new pet. Before coming I was told that he would need two shots. Once I dropped him off and left, I received a phone call stating that an exam was needed before administering the shots. They would not take the exam documentation from the Vet he had just visited 2 months prior.
When asked why he needed an exam I was told it was policy. Note my other dogs didn't need an exam before receiving shots they needed. All information about what's needed, cost and fees should be communicated beforehand.

We have loved BridgeMill Animal Hospital for the last nine years. They took excellent care of my previous German Shepherd and tried everything they could to save his life when he had an infection in his leg. They were very gentle and respectful when he passed. Now we have our dog there and I take both of my cats there for their routine check ups and one cat gets groomed by Courtney. We love Dr. Alvey! I definitely recommend these compassionate veterinarians and staff.

I only give two stars because of one particular veterinarian at this facility. I will not call out the person's name. However, my issue is twice this veterinarian recommended treatments that were expensive and dangerous when I took it upon myself to go a different route in both cases I was able to cure my pet had a much lower cost. And one instance the veterinarian treated my dogs I was antibiotics after it had been severely scratched.
The antibiotics were for one week after that week he did not see enough progress and scheduled a surgery to remove my pet's eye. I canceled that surgery went to and I specialist who simply provided two more weeks of antibiotics which cleared up my pets I completely. If I had listened to the veterinarian at BridgeMill my pet would be missing one eye and it would have cost me $1,500.

Do not recommend. Better customer service can be found anywhere else. My labradoodle developed an ear infection immediately following grooming. Vet routinely misbooked appointments, and customer service became a thing of the past. When I requested a call from practice leadership, the requests were ignored. Communication was lackluster. Our senior dog would wet in the car on the 2 mile trip home after leaving the groomer because she wasn't take out while there for grooming appointments.
It took over a month to get radiograph images from the vet so we could take our senior dog to another vet. Overall, better service can be found anywhere else. The positive is that the doctors are knowledgeable.

Absolutely delightful! My kitty Tofu has visited a fair few times over the past couple years, and she is always taken wonderful care of! I didn't catch her name but there is a vet tech with shorter curly brown hair who is a total sweetheart and always makes me and my kitty feel at ease. Dr. Johnathon is also awesome and you can really see how much he respects and cares for animals.
It warms my heart to see how gently and lovingly the staff handles my fur baby! Services and medications are pretty affordable and the office is always clean and neat. Can't recommend these folks enough!

We LOVE this vet clinic, and have been visiting there as needed since 2012 on and off (i went away to college in NY, and took our younger cat with me, while our less spry little man stayed here in GA). There's rarely any wait time when you show up for an appointment, the prices aren't astronomical, the staff always answers the phone, and you ALWAYS get your calls returned promptly.
We generally always used to see Dr. Alvey, who we already knew and love, but after one of the cats, Zeke, started have extreme difficulty breathing we had to rush him to the emergency vet in towne lake since Bridgemill was closed. We did not have the best experience there, particularly with the techs, and it was NIGHT AND DAY when we were finally able to get him in to see Dr. Alvey at Bridgemill!
The techs here are in general very kind, knowledgeable, and willing to listen. After seeing Dr. Alvey we somehow ended up getting our follow up appointments with Dr. Jonathan, and we were at first quite apprehensive (if anyone has a pet, they know that a good vet that knows animals AND can speak to fellow human beings is like, finding a magical rainbow unicorn), but we were blown away! Dr. Jonathan is amazing (as is Alvey!) and provided a level of communication and care for Zeke that we appreciated immensely. Zeke ended up being a relatively frequent flyer during his last 3 months, but Dr. Jon never "jumped the gun" on suggesting we put him down, doing all he could to extend Zeke's life in a humane way so that he wasn't suffering.
He was able to give Zeke a last Thanksgiving and Christmas where he was still up eating and talking and cuddling, and I don't think we would have been blessed with that time with Zeke had Dr. Jonathan been any less attentive with his care. A few weeks ago he started to take a rapid turn for the worse, and the devastating decision had to be made on Jan. 18th to let Zeke go home to God.
This was horrific for us, as he had been with us for all 16 years of his life, and we love him dearly, but Bridgemill as a whole was incredibly kind and decent through that entire process of saying goodbye. Within a few days we were touched to receive a beautiful condolences card with wildflowers to plant in Zeke's honor, and the card was signed by the entire staff at Bridgemill.
The staff was also cognizant of our grief still when we returned yesterday for our other cat, Sophie, who just needed a physical to alleviate our worried pet parent concerns after Zeke's sudden health crises. My request that we not be seen in the room where we said goodbye to Zeke was met with understanding and accommodation, and Dr. Jonathan gave Soph a thorough exam, which did a lot to reassure us that the only health concern for her currently is that she's a MEGA CHONK and has to go on a diet. I have to say that she was SO much less scared than I thought she would be, and she loved Nikki, our tech for the day!

We love, love, LOVE this veterinary group! From when you first walk in - friendliest techs and front office staff. Dr. Alvey is the BEST vet I've met in years! What a blessing to find this place. My dog has tumors in his tummy and has seizures. They CARE and will work with you on payments. This staff is so attentive and sincere, I would highly recommend them for your pet's needs. Incredibly knowledgeable and trustworthy, too.
Most thorough exams, ever. They also have Dr. Charlie for chiropractic needs-he's the best and knows his stuff! Laser treatments are also available for hips, etc. Look no further! Simply the best!

This was our first time using Bridgemill for our pets boarding needs as we recently moved from Acworth. I can't put into words how happy I was to receive my babies back happy, looking good and worn out from play! You can tell they actually care about the animals. I was nervous about finding a new vet once we moved but I can happily say my search is over because this team has got it right!

I brought my senior chihuahua in for an exam and dental cleaning consultation. I'm really happy with my experience so far. The facility is extremely clean and comfortable. Crystal was exceptional to work with! She seemed to really care about my dog and her needs. She was so sweet and willing to answer all of my questions. Also, I don't feel like they pushed unnecessary products/procedures like other vets in the area.

I am a new resident in the area and was seeking a good vet/groomer for my dog Cookie. I am glad I made the choice to bring her to your facility. I had a great experience from the front desk, to the groomers, to the meeting with the vet ( Dr Jonathan) and also to a woman named Crystal who was my dogs technician today. Everyone was extremely informative, friendly and my dog as well as myself felt very good about choosing them as my dogs care givers and new found friends.
The waiting area & offices were very clean! Pricing was great and most importantly, my dog received a very good initial exam. Thanks for being real animal lovers. I will definitely be returning regularly!

While on vacation visiting family for Christmas, my seven month old pup wasn't feeling well, so we took a chance by randomly selecting BAH to see our pup. Within seconds of walking in the front door, I knew we picked the right place. The staff were very friendly and were very accommodating. Dr. Jonathan was absolutely amazing and treated me dog with attention to detail and it was obvious he cared.perfect vet!

DO NOT LET COURTNEY GROOM YOUR DOG. THE VETS THERE ARE GREAT. Had a ridiculously bad cut on our dog. Everybody asked what happened, THAT BAD! Love the people here (vet side) so gave them another shot but came in with our dog to literally state word-for-word instruction on what NOT to cut on our dog. Even brought pictures to show Courtney. She listened, acknowledged she wouldn't, then proceeded to do EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I SAID. CUT EVERY BIT OFF HER HAIR ABOVE HER EYES OFF.
One snip, I could have done that. Last time she cut her paws with two snips creating a ridiculous point she appeared to be walking on. The girl is ruining the name of the wonderful vets there. When I asked her "Why did you do the opposite of what I asked specifically?" She responded, "Well her hair was too long, so I cut it." I told her I was the customer and spent my time this morning showing her pictures and stating word for word what I wanted. DO NOT GET GROOMED THERE UNTIL THEY USE SOMEONE OTHER THAN COURTNEY. Just Thank God she's not a NURSE to people!

We have called this place and gotten our sick kitten in within 2 hours of calling. They are very helpful, very nice, and pretty quick too. I've never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting area. They have called us the day before to remind us of our appointment, and they are just very professional and nice. What more can you ask for?
