Atlanta Dogworks

We have used Atlanta Dog Works for about a decade now. They always take great care our our dogs when we travel. They offer nature walks, swimming and other activities that our girls love. Our dogs start getting very excited in the car about a mile away from the entrance, as soon as they realize where we're going. We highly recommend Atlanta Dog Works!

Best kennel ever. These people care for your fur babies with the utmost care. Beautiful place - farm animals, open spaces and surrounding forest. Extremely affordable.

Best deal/setting you're going to get in the Atlanta area for someone to take decent care of your dog, not stick them in a glorified closet. My dog has a hard time eating when he's boarded because of the stress, and it's a great sign that I always get him back well fed, he feels relaxed there.

I brought my dog to Atlanta Dogworks for the pool. My dog had never been in a pool before and it was either going to be an awesome experience or the shortest experiment ever. The team at Atlanta Dogworks made the whole experience FANTASTIC! They were so friendly and so generous. From scheduling, to payment, to the quality of the pool and the grounds, this place is THE BEST! I scheduled more pool time that day and we can't wait to get back!

Was not pleased with my experience. Was hoping to find a great place to board my dogs, but will keep looking. I selected this location because my dog absolutely loves to swim. When I picked up my dogs, I was informed he "probably didn't get to swim" due to the weather and "probably got some additional playtime instead". No communication from the staff on how my dogs fared during the stay - have no clue if they were treated right or received the appropriate amount of attention.

I also purchased a bath for both my dogs and was shocked at how long my smaller dog's nails were when I picked them up. When questioned, I was informed that I failed to be specific about what should be included in the bath. I don't like being in the dark about my dogs, they are part of the family.

I interviewed for this kennel & was asked to come in to do a working interview. The working interview consisted of 5 hours (unpaid) labor - they had multiple people coming in to do these (not sure if this is some type of a scam to receive free work). I never received a call back to update me on hiring status, nor did i even receive a thank you for the HARD FREE LABOR i provided for 5 hours - despite being more than qualified to work at the facility, the girl i did my work interview with had never even had a background with animals?

The place is run very unprofessionally (if not giving even a courtesy call to hiring applicant wasn't proof enough), Vanda is unable to handle the work load & on many occasions needed the back of the house girls to help her with easy office work (mind you she is the manager), but spent most of her day sitting in the office doing nothing? Additionally, Vanda was very adamant on how nice all the girls were, but when doing my working interview with Rachel, all i heard from Rachel was nasty comments and gossip about other employees.

Oh and lastly, they pay their employees $9 an hour.save yourself the time & money of supporting a business that pays their employees the bare minimum for hard labor & is extremely unprofessional.

Seems like a decent place to take your animals but would never recommend anyone to work here. Have known a few people who work or have worked here and from what I have heard and seen they do not treat their employees fairly or at least pay them enough for what is demanded of this job. Owners do not care for their employees. Promising 40 hour work weeks but they turn into 60+ every week. If you want your business to thrive then treat your employees how they should be treated for the work they put in.

I can not say enough about atlanta dogworks. Our german shepherd, Sasha has been there sooo many times and we are never disappointed. The staff love her and I feel comforted when I have to say goodbye. This last visit Vanda assisted me with a special request on a Saturday and Greg the owner made it happen. I was missing her so much and did not want to drive up myself so they ran the pet taxi for me. Thank you all so much! The staff have texted me pictures of her while I have been traveling in the past as well. Wonderful place and folks

I can't recommend them enough! When we travel, Dogworks is who we've trusted with our pups over the past 4+ years. It's like taking them to stay with family. Our dogs love their suite with a door to their own enclosed patio and yard. They leave the door open during the days when appropriate so the pups can come in and out when they please. We always felt guilty leaving the dogs when we'd go out of town, until we found Dogworks!

Absolutely the BEST and ONLY place I will take my dog! She knows when we turn off of Hwy 372 that we are going to see all of her buddies. When we turn into the drive she can hardly contain herself and she is always so happy when I pick her up! This gives me unbelievable peace and lets me enjoy myself while she is there. Every one is always very kind, helpful and very attentive to my dog. Atlanta Dogworks is definitely worth the drive!
