Crunchies Natural Pet Food Store is located just outside Annapolis in Crofton, Maryland. Crunchies has the largest selection of foods, vitamins, and supplements in the area for both dogs and cats. The shop has been open since 1995 and has already established a large and growing list of satisfied customers. The owners started by selling the high quality pet food from their living room, but quickly outgrew this and another shop until they finally expanded into their current location on Crofton Lane, just off of Route 3 South.

Crunchies Natural Pet Food store is dedicated to the memory of the Cahill's late cat "Bonkers." Bonkers was diagnosed with Cystitis and a rare immunological disease. When the cat was diagnosed, they took to looking for natural remedies. Although she had no formal training in pet nutrition, Julia Cahill was raised in a family that used natural health care.

Very expensive and not good about returns or exchanges. They are small store but have most popular foods and staff is usually polite while you are buying their overpriced products. If you have a return or issue, they will reject it. We ended up going to Pets Supplies Plus in Edgewater or wherever. They have everything for pets, competively priced and have a fabulous return policy and will not hassle you. Then there's chewys who are convenient for certain items.

Can't say enough good things about Crunchies! They are very helpful, provide great advice and suggestions when trying to find food that our cats will eat as kittens, adults, and "seniors" with health issues. We've been buying cat food, litter etc for over 20 years from Crunchies and have never been disappointed. They are just as competitive as online or big box stores but their staff, service, and personal recommendations is why we have continued to shop there for more than 20 years.

Absolutely love this store! We took our family dog here his entire long life (chow Belgian sheepdog mix of 14 years) and my new husky pup to get some high quality food. The employees are so kind and knowledgeable, and recommended a great food + transition plan, plus a sample of probiotics, treats and toy! So worth patronizing here and we are happy customers of over 15 years!

We really enjoy visiting Crunchies for our pet needs. Our cat, Marley, never complains when we come home with new toys and delicious food/treats. The staff are always friendly. There are even a couple of in-store four-pawed residents that say hello from time to time. We've also purchased a large scratching post here, as they have a nice collection of sturdy hand made cat furniture. Highly recommend

One has to keep in mind that this is a high-end pet food store, so they are a bit pricey (even a little higher than comparable chain stores for the same products). BUT they offer a good variety of high quality food and homeopathic options. In addition all of the staff I have interacted with have been knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly - something I don't always find at the chain stores. For me, it is worth paying just a little bit more to support a local business.
