Sharon was amazing! She helped me understand my dog better and gave tips on how to improve. She was very thorough in her explanations and demonstrations so that I could repeat and continue working on my relationship with my dog after our session. They answer the phone! The receptionist was very helpful. Sharon amazing! Our dog has been aggressive with strangers. Sharon taught us one exercise and within the first 2 hours of our first lesson, our dog come out of the bedroom not wanting to attack Sharon. We sat there amazed! What I truly appreciate about Bark Busters is they don't use treats, clickers, collars or fear.

I'm so happy I found Sharon at Bark Busters. Her way of training is super affective and after our first lesson I've immediately seen results. I've learned how to communicate and understand my dog and we tackled so many issues in just one lesson. I'm excited to see where our future lessons take us. Sharon has been a huge help for us and our one year old Pitbull mix, Tucker. He is a smart and highly energetic boy but tends to think he is the king of the castle and often forgets his manners. We were having issues with him listening to us (unless we had a treat) as well as jumping up, nipping, and pulling on his leash. Sharon has taught us how to communicate with Tucker in a way he understands, instead of having to use treats to get him to do what we need him to.
She is very patient and explains her reasoning behind everything, which helps us better understand Tucker. We are learning how to give Tucker what he wants (which is usually just attention!) but doing so on our terms so he grows to respect us and see us as his leaders. We have had three sessions with her so far and each time notice a huge improvement in Tucker's behavior.
One time she even met us at the dog park to practice with lots of distractions. Sharon is always accommodating and available to answer any of our questions by text. She responds quickly with lots of detail to help us stay on track. She also recommends toys and other training tools to suit our needs, like making sure we have the correct harness, etc.
Other issues she has helped us with include greeting people and other dogs politely, crate training, anxiety, begging for food, recall, and more. Tucker loves it when Sharon comes over and we do too! Thank you Sharon for helping us gain control of our silly playful pup - we are all much happier as a result of your guidance and support. We would highly recommend Sharon and Bark Busters to anyone seeking any type of dog training.

While my accidental rescue loves people, he had a small bite history (provoked, but still not okay) and he was not loving the new puppy we adopted. His anxiety was high to begin with, and got much worse when we brought in the little one. To the point of him basically just living in his muzzle - unless we were outside walking, he loved her out there.
It was so bizarre to me. If it wasn't for Sharon and her expertise he would probably still be in that muzzle 80% of the day. Sharon takes the time to train not only the dogs, but the owners. How the pups were perceiving even the simplest things such as our body movements, even when not interacting with them, from the moment you walk in the front door - and how they effect the dogs' behavior.
A little under a year in, muzzle free, and we are even re-socializing with dogs outside of the home! The puppy is way better behaved at a year old than we could have done on our own, and getting better with her separation issues everyday thanks to drills Sharon as taught us. She's incredible!

Sharon with Bark Busters is truly amazing. In June of 2020 I got a male Goldendoodle in Charlotte, NC and I decided to go with Bark Busters because they are Nationwide and I knew I would be relocated to Florida. When I got ready to move my trainer in North Carolina quickly introduced me to my new local trainer, Sharon. I immediately reached out to Sharon and she got me right on the scheduled to come out to and work with me an my doodle.
She asked me what areas did I want to focus and she was able to get both me and my doodle on track. After being here for a few months I wanted to get another doodle. I spoke with her and she told me she would be with me every step of the way. She offered to come out to my home to help me set up for my new arrive and when I was ready she could come out and start working with both me and my pups.
Three days after getting my new addition I was feeling a little overwhelmed, I called Sharon she was quick to respond with practices I could use right then and scheduled to come out the next day. She is a great listener and such fun to work with. I truly recommend Bark Busters and Sharon if you have furbaby and would like to better understanding them and how to communicate with them. I have referred her to several parents at my doggie daycare. No matter their dogs age or the issue everyone has always been happy that I shared Bark Busters with them.

We love Sharon! We asked Sharon to come help us with our little Staffie who had shown some aggression toward other dogs and failure to recall. We already had a well-behaved, but sensitive black lab mix. Sharon spent hours with us talking about canine psychology and working on attentiveness training. We worked with the dogs on the first visit, both at home, walking around the neighborhood, and at unfamiliar locations so we encountered another dog.
The first day of training made an IMMEDIATE, huge difference; we were shocked and thrilled. The black lab was incorporated into the training too. She talked plainly with us and was realistic about interventions we would and would not be able to make for the dogs. She was awesome, we've seen lasting effects with our Staffie, and we plan on having our second session soon to follow up on our homework. Thanks Bark Busters!
