Located on 15 rolling acres of farmland in Owings, MD, Countryside Kennels offers a safe, clean and comfortable environment for every pet boarded with us. Our goal is to make their stay as pleasant as possible and to provide ample outdoor daily exercise and fun activities. As a family owned and operated business with three facilities in Southern Maryland, we are committed to the highest quality of care for your dog or cat, giving you peace of mind that your pet is receiving the same care, love and attention they would receive in their own home.

Services
Countryside is a family-owned business which is run in partnership by siblings, Angie & Kevin Montgomery and Ian Wilmot. Our family has been offering boarding & grooming services to the Washington, D.C., Annapolis, Baltimore, southern MD areas for over 30 years. We love looking after animals. We know what it's like to be pet owners, and we know how we would want our pets to be cared for. Over the years, our family has built upon the already sterling reputation the Davidsons accrued, and have reinvested our profits into our facility.
Our luxury Executive suites offer a comfortable toddler bed and televisions so your dog can watch Animal Planet or his/her other favorite show. We offer spacious and clean outdoor yards that are partially shaded. If you opt for a Suite, your dog can expect three exercises per day (30 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes at lunch time, and 20 minutes in the evening).
Cats might seem pretty independent, but we know they need just as much love as dogs do. All of our cat guests have their own special cat condos in our Cattery, a dog-free upper level of our boarding facility, to provide them a safe and more relaxing personal environment. Our guests' quarters are kept clean and as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
When you're at work, your dog can be playing and getting the attention they need instead of chewing on the living room furniture or your shoes. Why leave your pup at home when they can spend the day playing and socializing with other dogs? We test all pets for their temperament before they join our Doggie Day Care so we can provide the most pleasant stay possible for all of our guests.
